One x One with: Blacksoal

Vaix watched her go, he had no appitite for bitter blood. He settled for leaping soundlessly into a tree and following her slowly from above. From the look of her she'd given in to her natural instincts, he scented the air making sure there were no hikers or teens messing around nearby to get in her way.

It all happened so quickly, one minute she was following the scent of the deer, the next she was standing over it, letting it fall, twitching from her hands. Gasping, she took a small step back, looking down at the now dead deer.
"Weird" She muttered, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. She didn't remember actually killing the deer, but apparently she had.

Vaix smiled, having watched the whole thing. He clapped his hands for her, "how was that?" He asked with a smile, tilting his head to one side and giving a chuckle. Vaix leapt down, landing beside her with a soft thud as he hit the leaf covered earth gracfully. "The best part of hunting wild animals is that you don't have to deal with the body." He looked up at her with a friendly smile, "done? Or more?"

"That-that was incredible" She said, taking a deep, yet worthless breath. Smiling she shook her head, "I think I'm good" She said, feeling proud of herself. He was beaming at her, which was kind of funny, but she was extremely happy.

Vaix smiled at her response to catching her first kill, amused. He gave a nod to her reply to his last question, "alright." He turned and gave a joyfilled walk off. This was rather exciting for him too, even though he'd hunted millions of times, teaching someone made him excited.

Shaye followed along behind him, a critcial expression on her face. She had rarely seen him this openly happy and she was wondering why. Smiling she shook her head and caught up to him.
"Why so happy?" She asked, grinning up at him.

Keith sat on the couch, he had assumed Vaix had taken Shaye hunting, and he was releaved. She may be his 'new born' but he didn't want to be the one teaching her. He hoped Vaix didn't mind, although he doubted he did.

Vaix looked over at her and shrugged, "no real reason. I'm just happy." He gave a smile and let a hand snap out, messing up Shaye's hair and racing off before she could get him for it.

Shaye growled playfully and took off after him. Laughing, she lunged, something she would have never been able to do before and tackled him to the ground.
"Woah" She said, as they landed on the grass with an audible thump/

Vaix laughed and looked up at her, he hadn't expected to be pinned so suddenly or quickly. He smiled and muttered, "newborns." Vaix gave her a playfull look and attempted to wriggle out of her grasp.

She laughed and pinned his arms to his sides.
"Oh right, I had forgotten that new borns are always strong" She mused, grinning down at him. She couldn't believe this, she had the guy of her dreams pinned to the ground, and she couldn't think of what to say.

Vaix blew a peice of his hair out of his eyes as she pinned him down even more than before. "No fair," he wriggled again then whent limp, staring up at her. Vaix looked up at her again and in seeing the way she stared at him gave a picture perfect flurtatious smile. "You gunna let me up?"

"Hmm" She said thoughtfully before rolling off of him.
"I gues" She said, mock pouting though. "I was quiet comfortable, I don't know about you though" She said, smiling a little before looking away. She was still shocked about the power of her new body, as well as adjusting to her new self.

Vaix shrugged and sat up, "I don't like feeling trapped, who knew you'd get so strong?" He chuckled, "so now, if Keith bites you, you can just bite your brother back." Vaix pulled his legs against his chest and looked over at her calmly, still giving a happy-go-lucky smile.

Shaye rolled onto her back, staring up the sky.
"Oh the posibilities" She said, laughing a little.
"So are you going to tell me why you're smiling like a crazy person?" She asked, laughing a little. He still had the most adorable smile she had ever seen on his face.

"Is it so hard to believe I can just be happy sometimes?" Vaix turned to look at her with and endearing tilt of his head. "I could be grumpy, if you preffer." Vaix shrugged, asuming she didn't want that and sat back, leaning against his arms like they were pillars. "I'm just excited for you is all. Keith's so lucky he can make newborns. I've tried, it never worked."

"I don't think Keith's too happy with his ability at the moment" She said, shaking her head a little.
"And why are you happy for me? Did you want me to be a vampire?" She asked, she didn't sound upset, she was just genuinly curious.

"Err," Vaix grew a puzzled expression, this was like a trick question or something right? 'Did you want me to be a vampire?' He frowned, thinking over his words carefully. "Well," he started at last, "no. Of course not. The idea of you dying doesn't appeal to me. However...now that you happen to be one, might as well enjoy it right? Being a vampire a okay, if your good with the idea of drinking blood for life. You seem happy enough about it, so why shouldn't I be happy for your being happy?" He looked over at her, a pleased expression on his face now that he'd managed to manuver through her double edged question without a scratch.

She laughed a little.
"Fair enough" She replied, sitting up and leaning back against her elbows.
"Do I seem happy about it? That's good" She said, although deep, deep down she was still freaking out big time. She knew that for Keith she had to 'put on a show' for the time being, until she adjusted to what she was.

OOC: Camping this weekend, won't be on till sunday.

Vaix felt his curiousity rise dramatically at the way she responded to his answer. "Are you happy about it?" He asked, realizing how much he'd just asumed she'd be happy with this new life, and never thought she might be in depression or panic about it.
Vaix ilted his head to one side and watched her for her reaction.

"I dunno" She said, smiling a little. "I mean, I'm happy to be alive and stuff, and being a vampire is cool I guess. But deep down it scares me a lot" She confined.
"I mean it's weird, like you said I'm the only vampire who can shape shift, and being the only person like that makes me feel a bit lonely" She explained.

Vaix listened to her quietly, when she finished he gave a shrug. "I suppose it would make one lonely, to be the only one of your kind. But whos to say you are? You're probably not the first shape shifter to go through this, just because you don't see something, doesn't mean it isn't there... As for being scared," he gave a smile. " You'll get used to being a vampire very quickly, your fear will vanish in time. A year at most." Vaix looked over at her, "so don't worry."

Shaye laughed softly.
"I still don't think in vampire time I guess" She muttered, smiling a little more now. "To you a year may be fast, but to me it seems like a century, or at least it did" She sighed.
"Other then that you're right, I'll get used to it" She said, once again masking her fear.

Vaix chuckled at her complaint about how long a year was. He paused, and tried to remember if it was like that for him when he was human too. His memories that far back were rather blurry, far to blurry to remember fine details like the ones he currently saught. The only clear memories he had of his human life were the ones that had created the path to his becoming a vampire, and he hardly cared for how long a year was juring that huge ordeal.
Vaix looked up at the sky through the celing of tree leaves, a beautiful set of orange and red coloured sky greeted him. Sunset already...and he needed to get home. The memorie of what awiated him made his body jolt, he sweared under his breath and looked over at Shaye. "I think I need to go now. Before Roxa hunts me down..."

Shaye glanced over at him.
"Oh, right" She said, smiling a little.
"Go ahead" She smiled before glancing back at the sunset. She didn't feel like going home just yet, and she knew that Keith was nothing like Roxa.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow at school?" She said softly, wondering if she should even bother going.
