One x One with: Blacksoal

Vaix gave a nod, "see you tomarrow then." He gave a casual wave in one smooth motion of his hand. Vaix turned and ran off, so to seem as if he was eager to get home, even though he wasn't in the least. As soon as he was out of the forest he found himself looking at Keith's house, he hesitated before walking along at a much slower pace, kicking a stone around as he went. He was late for Roxa's dictator-ship already, so why rush? He'd get in just as much trouble as if he hurried.

Iggy watched Roxa from the corner of the room. He didn't want to get near her when she was like this, dispite her wonderfully hating mood. Being an emotions vampire he always felt the oposite of his surrounding comrades, because Roxa and Vaix were mostly happy he was constantly depressed. Right now, he was enjoying every minute of her missery. It would get even better when Vaix came home too. He watched Roxa glance up at the clock for the thousandth time, followed by her frustrated sigh and strangling grip on the couch arm. He chuckled, and like before Roxa told him to shut up again.

Shaye watched him go until he faded from sight. Sighing she layed back against the grass and stared up at the quickly darkening sky. She knew Keith must be home by now, but she wasn't ready to talk to him, or to anyone really. She sighed again, her entire world had been turned upside down in only a day, why did everyone think that she was truely okay with that happening? She closed her eyes, thoughts bombarding her constantly, she felt lost, confused, alone and sad, but she could never really tell anyone that. She had to keep up with pretending she was alright with this happening.

Vaix looked up at the sky, the rock he'd been booting around had somehow ended up in a sewer drain, so now he just walked along quietly. The house was in veiw, a tiny, ivy covered cottage stuck out in the middle of nowhere. He walked up to the old looking wooden door and stared at it for about five minutes, a little afraid to do anything more. It's just Roxa... He reminded himself, it's not like she'll kill you... not physically anyway. Vaix shuddered and forced himself to open the door, he used to love the creepy creek it made whenever it was opened, now he hated the noise, it would surly alert Roxa of his coming...

Roxa heard the door, and in about two seconds she sprang from the couch, ripped the door open, and had Vaix by the coller of his shirt, dragging him inside. "Do you have any idea how long you where gone?!" She hissed, pure anger spitting in her voice.

Keith stretched across the couch, wondering where Shaye was and if she was alright. He guessed that Vaix had already gone home, due to the time. But Saye had yet to appeare, not that he blamed her or anything. He sighed, staring at the turned off TV. He was worried about her, but more about her mental and emotional state then anything now.

"Well, sorta. Yeah actually, I know exactly how long I was gone." Vaix gave a weak smile, something a child would give after being caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
"Really?" Roxa growled, shoving him onto the couch. "I told you two hours Vaix, and you leave for the whole day! Do you have any idea how worried I was?" She gave him a glare and crossed her arms.
"You don't need to worry for me," Vax sighed, "I can look after myself thanks." The glare he was given after saying that told him she had different ideas. "Besides," he mumbled, "don't you already have your hands full controlling every second of Iggy's life?"
Roxa snarled, "the both of you are idiots, and you've shown me that I can't leave you out of my sight for a second out of home! Get up there," she pointed at the stairs that lead to Vaix and her rooms. "And don't you dare leave until school tomarrow." She watched him hesitate, almost in a dazed sort of way, and clapped her hands inches from his face to get him moving. Roxa growled as she watched him bolt up the stairs, she gave and sigh and sat back down on the couch, holding her head in one hand after recivig a headache.

Keith sighed, and picked up his phone, texting Shaye in the hopes that she had taken it with her.
Almost instantly it beeped, letting him know she was okay and would be home when she felt like it.
He sighed again, and stood up. He glanced down at the couch as he did so and flinched, silver blood had burnt the leather, leaving gaping holes, as well as a horrific image. He shuddered and quickly disappeared down the hall to his room, hoping to blot out the image of his 'sister' dying on that same couch.

Shaye stared at the sky for a long time, hoping that answers would magically fall from the sky, although she doubted it. Nothing ever worked out how she wanted it to. Her fingers trailed absently up her scar on her arm as she let images of her past life flash though her mind.

Vaix stopped at the top of the stairs, watching Roxa he stuck out his tounge at her. Somehow though she knew exactly what he was doing and flinched as she yelled up at him to get in his room and stop being a child. Vaix rolled his eyes and walked over to his room door, he pushed it open and was greated by mounds of things. It liked it this way, a complete unlivable mess to most. He never lost anything though, knowing exactly where it was in which towering pile of junk he'd collected over the years. Vaix sat down on a random pile and stared at his window, might as well have been bared... He sighed and lay back, ignoring the chinking sound of metal and plastic rubbing together as he moved. Vaix stared at the celing, staying in here all night...what a wast.

"Hello" A voice sounded behind Shaye, causing her to leap, startled to her feet. Wiping around she noticed a small group of kids that went to school with her.
"Oh, hey" She said, looking at them confused. She saw the one kid was wearing a wreath of garlic around his neck, she sighed, this was the kid who was trying to prove Vaix was a vampire. Taking an involuntary step back, she soon realized that the others kids were wearing the same 'protection'
"So I hear garlic is big this year" She said, jokingly, although she was absolutely terrified. The kid just stared at her, grinning as he reached slowly into his pocket. She narrowed her eyes as he slowly withdrew his hand, a lighter clutched in his grasp. She gaped and took a step back, only to realize that she was surounded by moronic kids with lighters.
"What-what are you doing?" She asked, her heart would have been pounding if it could.
"Well we know that Viax character is a vampire, and one of us observed you two together in the field, and we assume you are as well. I mean you look the same. Impossibly gorgeous, fast, pale skin. It's all there" He said, laughing a little. Then he moved, flicking his ligher open and slashing her across the arm with it. She gasped at the sensation, hitting the ground hard as the pain stunned her.
"I guess that's all we needed" He said, motioning for the others to help him.

Vaix looked at the window again, it had only been a couple minutes since his banishment to his room and he was bored stiff. He sighed and stood up, Roxa would notice if he left would she? Maybe...probably. But I'm so bored... He gave a sigh and opened the window, sticking his head out and taking in the crisp fresh air.

Keith sighed, and texted Shaye again. Nothing. Arching an eyebrow he opened the phone and called Vaix, hoping his friend would answer. He figured if anyone knew where Shaye was, it was him

Vaix blinked as a faint ringing was heard from one of the piles in his room. He went to the far side and dug through a pile, taking out his black koodo phone and opening it. "Helllooo?" He knew exactly who it was, because only a couple people knew his number and since it would make no sense for his family to call him, it was either Keith or Shaye.

"Hey, do you know where Shaye is?" Keith asked, fighting to keep his voice calm.
"She hasn't come home yet, and I haven't been able to get ahold of her" He said quickly into the phone. It was very rare that Shaye didn't answer her phone, seeing as she took it everywhere with her.

Shaye's eyes flickered open. The first thing she noticed as the over powering scent of burning and garlic. Wrinkling her nose, she became aware of the burning pain in her arm and glanced down. What she saw sickened her, her once pale are was black. Glancing around, she found that she was inside a small, barely furnished room. It had no windows, and she was betting the door was bolted or something.

"Shaye?" Vaix frowned, "I left her in the forest, so I don't know where she is. Maybe she just wants to be alone Keith, I mean, she did go through an ordeal today. That might be why she isn't answering her phone... I'm sure she's fine." Vaix looked out the window again and noticed a sign placed on the lawn floor below, angled so only his window could see it. Don't you dare leave. Was painted on the white sign in large red letters. Vaix gave a nervous chuckle, so that's what Roxa did when she got home.

"I guess" Keith said, reluctantly.
"I guess I'll talk to you later man" He muttered, hanging up the phone and standing up. Stuffing the phone in his pocket he took off, searching in the nearby forest. Walking slowly, he began to notice a highly unpleasent scent, it was garlic. Investigating, he soon found Shaye's scent, along with another that he didn't recognize. Exploring further he found a lighter in the grass, along with Shaye's phone.
"No" He breathed, pulling out his phone and calling Vaix back.

Vaix hung up his phone and investigated the sign with and amused smile. He blinked when it rang again, opening it once more. "Yes?" He guessed it was Keith again, with more worried questions and assumptions.

"I'm in the forest, her phone is laying, broken on the ground, theres a lighter, and a strong scent of garlic. Still think I'm being worried over nothing?" Keith snapped into the phone. He waited, impatiently for this to sink in.

Shaye groaned, her entire body hurt, she doubted, even with her new vampiric abilities that she'd be able to get out. Vaugley she wondered what was going on, but her mind was once again consumed with the pain that was radiating from her left arm.

Vaix blinked, then swore loudly, knowing exactly what had happened. "I'll be over there in a couple seconds," he growled, closing his phone and shoving it in his pocket. Lunging from the window and landing ontop of the fence, racing along quickly before Roxa noticed. For once, it sucked Keith's house was on the other side of town.

Keith waited impatiently for his friend, surveying the area as he did so. Shaye's scent was strongy mixed with another scent, the one he didn't recognize. Nervously he knelt and picked up her broken phone, from what he could make out it had been deliberately broken. Swearing he tried to clear his head, but all he could think about was Shaye.

Vaix was at Keith's house in a matter of minutes, he ran along into the forest where he'd left Shaye, spotting Keith and scenting garlic, Shaye, Tom and a bunch of his 'followers'. He growled and stopped in front of Keith, "I'm so sorry," he breathed like he was out of breath, "I shouldn't have left her alone. Those stupid kids." He started along after Shaye's faint scent trail.

Keith didn't respond, but instead followed Vaix.
"Do you know what that other scent is?" He asked, still trying to figure it out. He wasn't sure, but it smelt smokey, which he didn't want to think about. He wasn't mad at Vaix, he was just worried about his 'sister'
"Don't apologize man, she attracts trouble" He muttered, hurrying down the trail.

"Yeah," Vaix replied to the first question. "Remember when I was talking to you about why Roxa was so protective over me? It's Tom, the kid who knows I'm a vampire, but it looks like he managed to get some kids to believe him now and judging from the scent he's figured out a weapon against us too. Like I said before, I'm sorry. It really is my fault, I should have been more carefull about my hunger..." He sighed and walked along after the scents.

Keith gave him a curious look.
"Your hunger?" He asked, not sure where this was going. Frantically he searched the area with his eyes, the scent was much stronger now.
"She's around here somewhere" He muttered, surveying the area hopefully.

Shaye woke up again, figuring she had passed out from the pain. Miserably she glaced down at her arm, which still felt as if it were on fire. Shuddering she rose unsteadily to her feet. Caustiously and using the thick cement walls for support, she felt her way around the room. Success, towards the top, in the left hand corner was a small ventilation shaft. Giddy with excitment she stood on tip toe.
"HELP" She screamed as loudly as she could.

Keith paused, he shook his head, thinking he had heard something.

"Yes, don't you remember? I lost my control around the kid and he learned I was a vampire." Vaix sighed again, he couldn't believe this. Stupid kid, and stupid him fo being so loose about the whole thing. Now he was paying for it. Maybe Roxa was right to be so paranoid about the whole thing... The scent ended, more like dissapeared. Vaix froze and spun around looking for it. There was only one building nearby, an old brokendown construction site. "There," he said to Keith, pointing. "It has to be there."

"Right" Keith said, running over to the building and gagging.
"Definately around here" He muttered as the burning scent mixed with garlic assulted his senses.
"I think we should just kill that kid and his friends and get this over with" He hissed, he was already irritated with this Tom kid about Vaix, if he harmed Shaye in anyway, he had just signed his death warrant.

Shaye could hear Keith, he was standing right above her.
"KEITH" She screamed as loudly as she could, hoping he heard.

"I would have already, if Roxa didn't almost tear my head of for sugesting it. She says it's to dangerous." He rolled his eyes, then blinked as he heard something faint. "Did you hear that?" He asked Keith curiously, looking around. "Tom? It's Vaix!" He called, "get you cowardly friends and yourself out here!" He looked around with a gaze of pure hate, "let Shaye go. She hasn't don anything!"
