One x One with: Blacksoal

Vaix chuckled at her response. "It's not so serious, they are only humans after all." He patted Shaye's head like he was rewarding a dog then turned and headed back to the couch. "That sure was exciting," he said, reffering to her change into a vampire. "Poor Keith though, be gentle with him on the whole subject." He looked over at her as he sat down.

"Alright," Vaix stared at the tv across from the couch. It was off, but he still stared at it like he was watching a program. TV's and all the fancy electronics were still very new to him, and facinated him even though he'd known about them for a while now. He taken one appart to see what made it tick, and hadn't understood anything he'd seen inside. Vaix looked at the clock, just about a mortal's supper time. He was about to ask Shaye what she was going to eat tonight, then remembered that for the next eternity, it would be blood.

Shaye looked at him curiously.
"We could watch a movie or something" She offered, hoping she wasn't boring him. She felt like a stranger in her own skin, it all felt so weird, and yet so right. She rose, and was amazed at the swiftness in which she moved.
"Woah" She breathed, trying to understand the new abilites, on top of her own, which she had gauged.
"If my parents could see me now" She said, tracing a long scar down her arm as she did so. It was an old habit, left over from her days with her family. She rarely spoke about them, and only Keith knew what had truely transpired.

"If you want to," Vaix replied looking back over at her with a smile. He wasn't used to seeing the pale skin instead of the tan she used to hold. Vaix watched her trace her finger's along the scar on her arm again. At least that hadn't changed. He'd asked about the scare many times now, but she never told him to a great detail about it. Just that it was from her days with her family. Family. The one thing the whole lot of them no longer had, well, at least not a biological one. He considered Keith and Shaye to be apart of his family, as well as his stow aways back home.

Shaye walked towards the large, glass case that held hundreds, probably thousands of DVDs.
"What do you want to watch?" She asked, making sure to keep her voice from catching. All this stuff had made her think of her own personal horror story. She had seen Vaix staring at the scar, and was debating telling him what had happened.

Vaix shrugged, "I'm not sure." He walked over to where she was peering in at the large collection of DVDs. "Wow, how do you pick?" He chuckled, "why don't you just pick your favorite? Surprise me." He didn't know any of those movies from his lack of attention towards them. Iggy was a movie addict on the other hand, even though they had been born in an ara without electronics, he knew almost every black and white movie and was starting to take interest in the coloured ones. Vaix stood up and headed back to the couch.

She laughed softly, marevling. Even her voice had changed.
"I don't think I can go to school anymore" She said, she was way to different.
"Unless I transfer to someplace else, that is" She said, smiling a little as she pulled a thin case from the rack.
"Hmm" She said throughfully reading the back. She often forgot what the movies they owned were about.
"Sounds interesting" She said, holding up Kingdom of Heaven.

"You don't need to transfer," Vaix replied calmly. "Just don't attract attention, no one will be suspicious for long. Give it a week." He smiled and looked at the movie she held before him. His keen eyes scanned the movie's title and cover picture in a sweeping motion. "Sure, looks cool."

Shaye looked at him.
"Do you realize how hard it is for me to not attract attention?" She asked, smiling a little as she turned on the DVD player and slid the disc in.
Hitting play, she walked across to the leather couch and sank into it. "It's a good movie" She said, smiling a little as the opening adds came on the screen/

Vaix rolled his eyes at her comment and watched the begining adds.
"What's this about?" He asked curiously, "angels?" He knew he was being a little obvious, guessing a movie by it's title, but what else was he supposed to guess?

"No, about this guy who's part of the crusades and goes to the Holy Land to fight for it, but he ends up losing it to the Muslim people" She explained.
"It's a really good movie" She said, flicking the 'play' button when the menu came up.
"I went and saw it in the theaters with some friends" She explained, watching as the opening scene played. It was burial scene, they were burying the main character's wife.

"Cool," Vaix replied, watching the movie start. He sat still, staring at the tv that placed mezmerizing pictures before him. If he thought about, which he had many times, it was confusing how it could be so interesting to stare at one thing for hours on end with undivided focus. The tv itself was physically not doing anything, yet it somehow captured attention so fully. He watched the movie take it's course.

Shaye bit her lip lightly, watching as Vaix became quickly captivated by the movie. She had seen this the few times she had watched movies with him before, he always got so into them.
She was child born in the age of technology, and therefor wasn't as interested or intrigued by stuff like cell phones, TV's and iPods as he was. She remebered him disabling her old iPod, trying to figure out how the music got inside.

Vaix, like usual, didn't move at all during the movie. Like a statue that occasionally blinked. The only thing different about this was that Shaye hadn't gotten up and had a snack yet. No homemade popcorn or candy she'd usually have when they watched movies. So that was different, he paid little mind to it though. Many tvs had met their end by his hand, the first one he'd seen, he'd trashed for thinking it was witch craft. The second had come with explination that had setlled him away from the first idea, but had been dismembered as he tried to figure out how it worked. He'd seen a 3D movie, which had gone through the same hoop as his original encounter with tvs.

This all felt so weird to Shaye. She kept feeling a nagging to get up and make popcorn, or grab a soda, but she didn't need to. She leaned against the back of the couch, ocassionaly glanced at the totaly motionless Vaix. She wondered if she'd ever be like that. Even now she was fidgiting, something left over from her human life.

Vaix watched the movie go onward, understanding more as more happened. He tended to never forgett movies he'd watched, and because of it, could only watch a movie peacefully once. Iggy drove him mad, watching the same black and white oldies over and over, reading the same books. Roxa was a little better, but she still whent through fazes where she'd listen to the same song twenty times. It was something he doubted he'd ever understand.

Shaye sighed softly, she had watched this movie countless times and knew it was almost over. As if on cue, the credits rolled onto the screen. She stretched out, aware that she had been sitting for a long time, although it didn't feel like it. Time was different now, taking her by suprise. Stuff passed so fast.

Vaix watched the credits roll by as the end came. Moving for the first time in two hours he streached, not even realizing he hadn't moved in so long. His back clicked in protest and he looked over at Shaye, "good movie." Vaix smiled and looked up at the clock, "Keiths been gone a while now..." Of course depending on a vampire's luck, hunting could take more than a couple hours. Especially if it was a crowded town, it wasn't too bad here, though sometimes it could be hard. A sudden curiousity tugged at his mind, he looked at Shaye. Vampire blood was a personal favorite of his, dispite the fact it was known as cannibalism, he wondered what had happened to Shaye's fire blood now that she was a vampire.

"Yea, I'm sure he'll be back soon, he probably needed some time to think" She said lightly, she noticed him looking at her, an odd expression on his face.
"What?" She asked, tilting her head to one side so that her hair fell across her shoulder.
"Do I have something on my face?" She asked, grinning a little. She felt a little self-concious, having him look at her like that.

"Huh? Oh, no. Of course not." Vaix shrugged and gave a smile. Judging from Keith's reaction to drinking Shayes blood when it was dangerous, he doubted he wanted to try. It would either be really good, or really painfull. Vaix let his eyes dift to Shaye's neck without any concious notice.

Shaye saw his gaze on her neck, and remembered that his favorite 'food' was the blood of other vampires.
"You're curious, aren't you?" She said, wondering if she was correct. As a mortal shifter, her blood had been deadly to vampires, but as a vampire shifter, it could have changed. She suddenly was curious as well, she always had had to be so cautious about cuts, making sure to stay well away from the vampires, lest her blood burn them or something. But now that she was one of them, her blood must have changed, or else she'd be dead.

Vaix blinked and looked up at her face instead of her neck. A little surprised at how quickly she'd caught on about it, yet releived at the same time. He would have had a hard time explaining his thoughts in a way that wouldn't upset her if he'd had too. Vaix nodded and tilted his head to one side, "what do you think it'll tast like now?"

"Well I'm assuming it's not dangerous, mainly because that would kill me" She said, shrugging a little.
"You can try if you want though" She said, relieved that she wouldn't have to blush anymore.
"I'm curious too" She explained, smiling at him a little. She had seen him feed off other vampires once in awhile, when he was desperate, Keith had let him a few times, and she was curiuos about what it would feel like.

Vaix blinked when he was invited to drink blood from her, it was rare something like that happened. It was a gamble though, so he could just chug it down to figure out it was deadly. He hesitated, pondering his odds before giving in. Vaix shimmied over to Shaye, brushing her hair away from her pale neck. "You can push me away anytime," he told her softly and sunk his teeth into her neck. Letting her blood fill his mouth, he didn't swallow at first, afraid of the result. It didn't burn, it didn't tast perfect either though. Her blood still smelled the same, but somehow her blood was mild now. He swallowed and let his arms wrap around her to hold her in place. Taking in blood.
