One x One with: Blacksoal

Shaye gasped softly. It felt incredibly strange, so different from when Keith bit her. It didn't hurt, it felt some how right. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling. She felt something drip on her hand, it was her blood. She looked down, facinated. It was still silver, but it didn't burn, or even catch flame, it didn't do anything. She closed her eyes again, a small smile on her lips. None of the other vampires had ever appeared to enjoy having Vaix drink from them, but to her it was amazing.

Vaix felt her body give in, which was odd. Normally with others he'd drinken from, his brother, Keith, Roxa and any other vampire, they all figetted. Mostly uncomfertable and eger for him to stop. She was acting like she enjoyed it. Vaix didn't want to hurt her, so as exciting as finding a new food scource was, he needed to let go now. Vaix pulled away and took in her expression, whipping his mouth clean of her silver blood.

She opened her eyes as he let go.
"Woah" She muttered, reaching her hand to her neck. She gingerly felt the small holes, marveling as they closed on their own accord. Her hand a few drops of her blood on it, and she absent mindedly wiped them off on her leg.

"How was that?" Vaix asked calmly. Of couse he was curious, she was the first to act that way when he took blood. He tilted his head to one side and gave a soft child-like smile. Such a unique vampire, but then again, she wasn't a regular vampire in the first place. It was only natural some things would be different for her than regular vampires.

"So weird. It felt good" She said, looking over at him and returning the smile.
"I thought it would hurt, that's what Keith says anyway. But it didn't hurt, in fact it felt amazing" She said, her fingers still brushing over her neck.
"What did you think?" She asked, meaning her blood. She doubted it had tasted good, being shifter blood and all.

"Your blood tasted unique," he replied. Carfull of his words, "sort of like...hot sauce that's been turned mild." Vaix gave a shrug, it was the only way he could think of to explain it. "If get to curious, I suppose you could just bite your wrist like Iggy does." At least once every week Roxa had to cover Iggy's wrists with bandages to keep him from bitting himself to severly. Vaix had no clue why his brother did it, but guessed it was either because Iggy was hungry, or stressed by Roxa's controlling behaviours towad him.

Shaye laughed softly, "I might just try that" She said, smiling a little.
"Like mild hot sauce eh? Is that a good thing?" She asked, laughing softly. She was contemplating his idea of biting her wrist, but the idea scared her a little, what if she got addicted of something. She had seen the bandages on Iggy, and didn't really like the idea.

Vaix shrugged, "I guess it's a matter of personal opinion. I liked it." He wasn't sure if saying that last statement was a compliment or something for her to be worried about. He gave her and expecting look, like he wanted her to try right now and see how she reacted. Though it would be strange if the first blood she tried was her own.

"I'll take that as a compliment" She said brighly, smiling at his expression. Tentitively she lifted her wrist to her mouth, and bit. Her eyes opened wide in shock, warm blood flowed into her mouth, and he was right, it did taste like mild hot sauce.

Vaix smiled at her expressions, from hesitation, to shock, to calm. He chuckled, "interesting isn't it? Other vampire blood doesn't tast that way, nor does human or animal." He knew she couldn't compare like him, this was her first tast of blood after all, she hadn't tried the normal menu yet. "Okay, don't hurt yourself now." His hand reached up and pulled her wrist away from her mouth. "If your hungry, we could hunt."

She wiped her mouth across her arm.
"I guess" She said, staring down at the large cut across her wrist. She had never been so facinated by blood before, especially her own. But her new senses were having a hayday with the slightly metallic substance/

Vaix hesitated, wondering if the 'I guess' reponse meant 'yes' or more of a 'I don't want to'. He sighed observing her expression, "we don't have too, if your not comfertable with the idea yet." Vaix gave a friendly smile, maybe he was pushing things with her. Shaye only had just turned into a vampire a few hours ago. The whole drinking blood thing might still seem alien.

"No, I want to try" She said, glancing at him from beneath her lashes.
"I have to learn and try eventually, so why not get it over with?" She said, trying to be happy, even though she was terrified. She was convinced she'd mess up, or that something would go terribly wrong and that she would be seen or something.

"Alright," Vaix gave a smile and stood up. Dispite her act to be happy Vaix could sense her stress, he held out a hand to help her off the couch. "You'll do fine," he encouraged. "It's all instinct anyways."

She slipped her pale hand into his and allowed him to pull her too her feet.
"All Instinct?" She said in a doubtful voice, "I suppose we'll see" She murmured softly.
"Let me put some clothes on first" She said, glancing down and realizing she was stil in her bikini. Disappearing down the hall she came back wearing a pair of jean short shorts and a light blue tank top.
"There" she said, pulling on her runners and lacing them up.

Vaix smiled and walked over to the door with her, opening it as he waited for her to finish with her shoes. When she did he walked out, turning to wait for her after realizing he was probably more excited about this then she was. Vaix had never dealt with a newborn before, a sad part of having no venom. She was Keith's newborn, like Roxa was Iggy's. But she was the closest thing he got to one, and guessed he'd ever get to having one.

"So?" She asked, stepping outside and gasping a little. Everything looked so different, so much brighter. She shook her head, trying to take in everything at once.
"Woah" She breathed, she could feel the power of her new body, it was so strange. She glanced back at Vaix, thankful that she couldn't blush once again. He was easily the most gorgeous creature she had ever seen/

Vaix chuckled softly at her reaction to going outside, "you get used to it." He paused when he caught her staring at him and tilted his head to one side. Then forced himself to ignore it. "What do you want to try first? There isn't alot of vampires around... but I'm sure we could find and animal or human."

"I don't care" She said, quickly glancing away.
"Whatever's easier I guess" She said with a shrug. She had no idea what blood, besides her own, tasted like, so she didn't have an opinion just yet.
"What's better?" She asked, knowing he liked vampire blood, but besides that she didn't know very much about his eating habits.

"That again is a matter of personal opinion." Vaix replied calmly, "I like vampire, and if I have to I'll eat human. Animal seems more bitter than anything..." He gave a shrug, "but on the other hand, animal is the easiest to catch." He gave a smile, "sorry, I must be running you in circles..."

"Just a bit" She said, biting her lip a little. She glanced up at him again and then quickly looked away, embaressed.
"So what should we hunt?" She asked, smiling a little. She began to wonder what people would think of her tomorrow at school/

"I suppose we should play it safe and go for an animal. Start with primitive and go up the list." He smiled back and started off for the forest, the same light-weight pip in his step he always had when he was excited or just really happy. "Trust me," he said calmly, "it'll be easy for you. Just stay away from motral eyes, and let you instincts control the rest."

Shaye followed along behind him, not really sure what to expect. So many things had happened today, and she couldn't fully comprehend her new situation. She had twice as many things to worry about now, including keeping both of her secrets safe. Sighing she changed the length of her hair, making it layered.

Vaix met the edge of the forest and looked back at her with a friendly smile, waiting for her to catch up before wandering inside the bushes. His mouth instinctivly parted, taking in the scents of the forest. Alot of deer here, and other smaller woodland creatures. He looked back at Shaye, "scent the air and take your pick, I suppose."

She took a deep breath, enthralled by all the scents. Each one was so distinct, it was easy to tell what was what. She closed her eyes, then opened them, an odd expression on her face. Her instincts had just completely taken over.
Smiling she walked stealthly into the woods.
