Aria stopped short at Sara's words. She looked over at her with a shocked look on her face, before glancing at Leo. She was silent for a moment, standing half in the wreckage of the coffee table. She considered Sara's words before looking down at herself. She was shocked to see that bruises dottered her arms and legs. She was afraid to see how well her face was faring with her physical condition. Maybe Sara was right...
Caving, Aria's shoulder's fell. She fought the tears that threathened to come and sighed. "When will he be back?" Aria asked quietly.

Leo nodded to Sara. "I'm coming." he murmured, looking between her and Aria. He was glad when Aria gave in, because he wasn't too certain Sara would have.
"Not for a few days. Get some rest alright? We'll be back soon." Leo said with a small smile before following Sara out.

Sara sighed, relieved when Aria caved, she didn't want Keith freaking out, and she wasn't even sure Aria could make it out the front door. She shook her head, looking at Leo, "Alright" She smiled, though it was a shadow of her former smile. A lot had changed in Sara since camp, she had been raped, almost died, adn now she was watching her friends almost die, it was taking a toll on her. She shook her head, trying to make herself more herself. She looked at Leo, smiling a bit more.
"Sorry, I'm just stressed" She murmured softly, shaking her head and sighing.

She walked down to the car and slid into the driver's seat, starting it up and frowning. She leaned forward, pressing her head to the steering wheel for a moment.
"Damn" She grumbled, she was really trying to hard to hold herself together, and honestly, she hadn't gotten over what had happened to her, she just pretended she had.

Leo frowned, watching Sara for a moment. He nodded in understanding when she said she was stressed. Silently, he took her hand in his as they walked down to the car. He could tell this whole quest was taking a lot out of her, and he wished he knew of some way to fix it. At the moment though, Leo had no idea.

"Do you want me to drive?" Leo asked, still standing with the passenger door open. He was about to get in when he saw Sara fall against the wheel. He could practically see it now, how stressed she really was. He doubted driving would help any.
Walking over to the drivers side, Leo opened the door and took Sara's hand gently away from the wheel.
"I remember they way to the hospitial." He said softly, exchanging places with her and starting up the engine while he waited for her to settle in.

Sara was about to protest, but Leo moved her over, no problem.
"Just go through the drive through, it'll make stuff quicker" She said, letting her head rest against the window and sighing, She shook her head and sighed.
"What should we get Keith?" She asked, sighing and pressing her head to her forhead. She was tired, beyond tired. She shook her head, looking at Leo with a small frown. She didn't want to stress him out, but stuff was defiantly adding up on her, particularly not talking about what had happened to her. It was just something that had happened, but she couldn't move past it. She shook lightly, frowning a bit.
"Cafe's right here" She said softly.

Keith sighed, waking up slowly as the woman came in, nurse, right that's what she was called. He shook his head, he kept forgetting stuff, it didn't make sense to him, why he was forgetting, but he knew it was getting worse. He yawned, maybe it was because he had hit his head. He yawned, or he was just really tired. He looked around, feeling a prick in his arm, "Sorry hun, your IV was getting infected, so we need to put a new one in" She said softly, checking Keith's bandage.
"Hm, still bleeding, that's not good"

Leo gave Sara a reassuring smile. As he drove he reached over to her, taking her hand lightly, letting his wamrth trail down to her for a while. When he needed both hands to drive again was when he let go to pull into the drive thru of the cafe. Leo frowned at the menu and simply shrugged.

"He's not exactly sick." Leo murmured, mostly thinking out loud. "So he should be able to eat anything. Though, I don't know what medication they put him on..." he sighed and shrugged.
"They've got bagels, their plain enough that it shouldn't bother him." Leo suggested, looking at the pictures the cafe had as well to firgure out the menu.

Sara smiled as Leo took her hand, giving her some of his heat. She smiled at him, sighing and shaking her head.
"A plain bagel is fine by me" She murmured, 'I remember him having a hard time eating before, so you don't want to make him sick. And knowing that nurse she'll probably stick him on a diet or something" She muttered, crossing her arms as Leo ordered and they picked up the bagel. She sighed, taking the bag and walked into the hospital.
"Come on, let's go find him" She murmured, asking the nurse where Keith was located. Suprisingly, he had been moved, to a head trauma unit. She shook her head, following the directions that the nurse had given her.

Keith had protested being moved, it hurt, a lot. He sighed, comfortable in the small room, he was alone, all hooked up to tons of stuff, it was rather annoying. The nurse walked in, "Not gonna eat?" She asked,
"My friends said they'd bring me stuff" Keith murmured. "Oh, well, alright, but if it makes you sick, you'll have to eat what we give you" She murmured, smirking at Keith as she fixed his new IV.
"Whatever" He muttered.
"Tutt, tutt, be nice" She said, patting his cheek.

Leo nodded, ordered and payed for the bagel before getting back onto the main street towards the hospital. He let Sara handle the bag as they got out of the car, and he made sure to keep her hand in his as they walked back inside.
Leo frowned. "He was moved?" he murmured, confused.

He pulled Sara back a bit, hearing that the nurse was still in the room with Keith. He glanced into the room before knocking gently on the metal doorframe.
"Hey. We brought lunch." Leo said, smiling at Keith, though his friend looked no better with the amount of machinery they had him hooked up to.

Sara frowned, shaking her head as she glanced into the room.
"Yea, ICU was getting crowded" The nurse said, smiling as she brushed past Leo and Sara.
"Just call me if you need anything, teh doctor will swing by later, answer any questions you might have" She said, brushing past them.

Sara shook her head, stepping into Keith's room. "Hey" She smiled at her friend, sitting down in a chair and handing Keith a bagle.
"Hey" Keith said, smiling at his friends hopefully.
"How you feeling?" Sara asked curiously. "Like crap, moving sucked" He said, smiling a bit. He opened the bagle, breathing it in happily.
"Man guys, thanks, I couldn't stomach that hospital crap"

Leo blinked as the nurse answered his question, mostly because he hadn't been expecting an answer. He nodded as she left and cleared the frown from his face, looking back at Keith.
"Well, they shouldn't have to move you until they let you leave." Leo said, folding his arms over his chest. When the doctor came back around later, Leo would make sure Keith wouldn't have to be moved again

Leo smirked though, knowing that hopsital food was always bland. "No flavor to it right?" he asked, nodding to himself. "We'll try and bring you something when we come visit. If you get hungry inbetween though, you should try and stomach something. Anything's better then nothing at this point." Leo murmured

Sara laughed as Keith pulled a face at Zero's comment. She chuckled lightly, stretching out and watching as Keith pressed a button on the bed, letting it rise into more of a sitting position.
"Nice" She teased, while Keith chuckled. He obviously wasn't supposed to move to much, hence the moving bed.
"Yea, I guess. Do you guys know how long I'm stuck in here?" He asked, taking a sip of his water and a bite out of the bagle. He smiled, relieved to actually be eating something edible.

Sara glanced up as the doctor came in.
"Hey kids" He said, smiling a bit, "Hey" Sara said, smiling half heartedly.
"One of you is missing" He noted.
"Yea, Aria's back at the hotel, sleeping" She replied, looking at Leo, who looked a bit pissed. She sighed, shaking her head and stretching out agian.
"When can he come home?" She asked, nodding at Keith, who was caught up in his food and pretending not to listen.
"Day after tomorrow maybe, later probably" He said, "Oh" Sara sighed, rubbing her face.
"So, what's wrong?" She asked. "Well, when he fell, he smacked his head, which doesn't seem to have done anything to serious, but it stressed the injury, and he's still bleeding a bit"

Leo was about to answer that they weren't sure how long Keith had to stay when the doctor walked in. Ok, Sara felt off about the nurse, Leo didn't like the looks of this doc. Espically after his comment about one of them missing. Leo wasn't sure if this was the same doctor who'd helped Keith last time, and if it wasn't there was no way the doctor would know about Aria.

When Sara supplied the missing info, Leo silently wished she hadn't. Gently he took her hand and squeezed it warningly, since she was doing most of the talking at the moment. Leo glanced at Keith before back at the doctor. Well, they had known what had happened to Keith's head...but was it serious enough to keep him for the next few days?

Leo glanced back at Keith for a moment, and seeing him hooked up to so many things jump started his memory.
"Hey doc, I'm curious." Leo said. "See, I'm hoping to get into the medical profession myself. What kind of medication are you giving him?" Leo asked, looking from Keith to the doctor.

Sara felt Leo squeeze her hand and frowned, though she fell silent, not really fully understanding what he was so concerned about. She shrugged, looking at Leo curiously as he asked about Keith's meds, but she figured that that was his interests and what not.

"Ah, well, we have him on a viarety of pain killers, inculding morphine every three hours" The doctor said, sort of side stepping the question.
"He also is on a bed rest order, no getting up and what not" He said, shaking his head.
"Why do you ask, I mean, besides just medical curiosity?" He asked, chuckling, though his eyes were narrowed suspiciously.

Keith sort of jolted awake, well, dragged himself back into the conversation.
"Why'd you move me? I mean, there was no one in ICU" He protested.
"It was just easier having you here, a room to yourself, it made more sense" The doctor replied smoothly, though his jolly grin was gone.

Leo nodded, looking thoroughly intersted at what the doctor was saying. And in truth he was, but not for the reason he came up with. Leo was sort of hoping for a more indepth explination then 'pain killers'. He knew there were sometimes where Doctors went over-board in their explinations, thinking no one else would understand anyway, whereas Leo would. Catching the suspicious gaze in the doctors eyes, Leo squeezed Sara's hand again, hoping she would catch it.
"He is my best friend." Leo said, shrugging. "Plus there were times where he'd get hurt and the pain killers the hopsital would be giving him weren't strong enough. The morphine should do it though." Geez he was starting to sound like Aria...

Leo glanced over at Keith as he voiced his own question, but he firgured that one the doctor would have been expecting. And Leo was right, since the answer came smoothily.
Leo nodded, wanting the doctor to leave as soon as possible so he could talk to Sara and Keith.
"Mmm. Thanks Doc.." Leo murmured, giving a light smile.

Sara shook her head and sighed. She caught the suspicious gaze from the doctor. She shuddered once or twice.
"Alright, I'll see you two later, I'm gonna have some more papers for you to sign" He said to Leo and Sara.
"Sure" Sara said, "Bye" He waved and Sara shook her head again, glancing at Keith and Leo.
"That was weird" She murmured, looking a bit anxious and annoyed. She sighed, "First the nurse adn now the doctor.." She shrugged, looking at Leo.

Keith frowned, "Weird" He muttered, nodding his head a bit, in agreement with Sara.
"Definately not normal" He agreed, shaking his head a bit, though he was careful not to hurt his head or anything. He sighed, "It just seems weird, I mean, the nurse never leaves me alone, ever, unless you guys are here, and well, now, the doctor is weird"

Leo flexed his fingers gently as the doctor left. He watched him go, narrowing his eyes and reaching for the single bead on his necklace. Taking a deep breath, Leo forced himself to count to ten before going to say anything. Hearing that the nurse never left Keith alone wasn't exactly a good sign.

"I'm liking this less and less." Leo murmured. "How did he know Aria wasn't here? We didn't see the doctor last time we brought Keith here with Aria..." Leo flexed his fingers again, pausing a minute to calm down.
"I wish he would have rambled off the medication..." Leo muttered under his breath, glancing at the door again.
"I'm guessing the nurse stands and watches you take whatever they give you?" Leo said quietly, looking back at Keith.

Keith looked at Leo, frowning a bit, "Yea, how'd you know?" He asked, wincing and shifting a bit.
"She never leaves me alone man, she's like always here' He sighed, fiddling with the IV in his arm for a moment, he really didn't like the damn thing, it always seemed like they were changing it, or poking him. He sighed, not much he could do right now, he was sort of stuck here.

Sara stood up, pacing for a moment, checking the hall for the nurse or doctor before returning to the bedside.
"I dunno what to make of this, but if we've learned anything in this quest, it would be that you can't trust anyone" She said, shaking her head.
"What do you think?" She asked Leo gently, he seemed to have a theory on this and what not.

"Because whatever they're giving you, it's not a pain killer." Leo murmured softly.
"Aside from feeling crappy from the accident, everything else is alright?" Leo asked, a bit worried now, hearing that his suspisions were true. That definatly wasn't good, at all.

"We can't trust anyone we don't know at least." Leo said, nodding in agreement with Sara.
"I think they-" Leo nodded his head towards door, meaning the doctor and the nurse. "Are up to something. I'm not sure what though, but obviously, they're interested in Keith.."

Keith sighed, "Not painkillers?" He looked confused, shaking his head and sighing.
"Um, well, I feel like I'm not remembering anything, forgetting some stuff I guess, but I remember it, I dunno, maybe I'm just losing it" He said, shaking his head and sighing. He looked at Leo, "Should I even be in here?" He asked, looking worried. He didn't know what was going on.

Sara frowned, "I dunno, can we even break someone out of a hospital?" She murmured, confused. She sighed, rubbing her eyes for a moment and looked at Leo.
"Maybe they know what we are? Like that monster who-" She cut off, "Maybe they sensed us"

Leo frowned as Keith rambled on. Memory loss? That definatly wasn't right. He stepped away from Sara to check on Keith himself, pushing back the bandages slightly. He wasn't trust that doctor at all right now, and definatly not the nurse either. The bandages were stained, but the blood didn't look all that fresh.
"You don't remember us telling you this earlier?" Leo murmured, frowning. "You fell off the couch, smacked your head on the coffee table? The bleeding was bad so we had to bring you back..." he explained slowly, hoping the story would ring a bell in Keith's head.

Leo glanced over his shoulder at Sara. Break Keith out of the hopsital? There was an idea. Though how they would go about doing it was beyond Leo.
"Monsters disguiesed(sp?) as medicial officers?" Leo murmured. "Wouldn't they have tried to finish us off already?"

Keith shook his head, "No, I don't remember that" He winced, though he let Leo poke at his head. He trusted him more so then he did the doctors and nurses and what not.
Sara frowned, "Well, maybe they're trying to gain our trust and what not" She sighed, "I dunno, but I bet we could break him out, if they can dress up like medical personal, why can't we?" She asked, stepping into the hall and reappearing moments later in scrubs and a lab coat.
"Stick him in a wheel chair and we can go" She said, smiling and winking.

Keith chuckled, "You look just like a doctor" He said, laughing a bit.
"It can't hurt to try" He murmured, "I mean, Leo you can take care of me better then anyone else" He said, looking up as Sara came back with a wheel chair.

"Wonderful. They might have kept you here until you couldn't remember who you were." Leo murmured, hearing that Keith didn't even remember the conversation they'd had this morning.
"Well, they were right about you reopening the wound. Though it doesn't look too bad.." Leo said, letting some of his heat seap forward as a small test.

Glancing over his shoulder as Sara came back, Leo looked at her curiously. "Where did you find those?" he murmured, shaking his head. He sighed as Sara left again to get a wheel chair.
"You do realize that if we run into the nurse or the doc, we're screwed right?" Leo muttered.

Looking between Keith and the wheelchair, Leo sighed. Gently, he started disconnecting Keith from everything but the heart monitor.
"Think you can try and sit up to get into the wheel chair?" Leo wondered, keeping a sharp eye on the monitor. He knew from experience that if the device "Flat-lined" the nurse came rushing in to check on the patient.

Keith shrugged, though he coughed a bit at the heat.
"Dude" He grumbled, shaking his head and looked up at Leo.
"I can try" He murmrued, forcing his body into a sitting position. He carefully switched from the bed to the wheel chair, sighing in relief.
"Good job" Sara said, clapping lightly.

"I know, but I mean, what are the odds" She said, "Besides, we can stun them or something" She said, shrugging a bit.
"Anything to get Keith out of here, it's the best thing to do Leo, take him to another hospital if we have to, just not one with psycho nurses and weird doctors" She murmured, smiling at Keith and looking at the heart monitor.
"What are we gonna do about that?" She asked, nodding at it and pursing her lips.

OOC: I'm off to work, I'll be back in like five hours =]

"Sorry." Leo muttered. "Guess that still isn't working." He sighed, stepping aside so Keith could get into the wheelchair. He fixed the bed up, making it look like no one was here at all. Leo glanced at the heart monitor, scanning the machine from top to bottom. He grinned, seeing the outlet it was plugged into. That would work.

"I'll unpluge it. That way it'll just stop working and won't flat line on us." Leo explained. " we still have to be quick though." He said, moving the mobile monitor over to reach the cord and yanking the plug down. Keith's heart rate vanished without a warning. Leo smirked, and nodded for Sara to get the door as he pushed Keith away from the bed.

Sara watched Leo, nodding.
"Sounds good" She murmured, carefully rushing over to the door and holding it open. She peeked out, nodding a bit.
"Alright come on" She said, looking around carefully. She stepped aside, letting Leo push the wheel chair, holding an almost asleep Keith out. She sighed, looking at Keith and smirking.
"We wore him out" She teased, walking a bit ahead of Leo down the hall. she looked around, "Come on, almost there" She said, holding open the hospital door.
"We're good" She said, grabbing her keys for the truck and leading the way out of the hospital and rushing over.
"He's not gonna fit, unless..." She looked around, sighing and walking over to an SUV. "Wish Aria was here" She said, noting that it was unlocked. She sighed, hotwiring it quickly and sighing.
"Over here" She said, lookling over at Leo and Keith.

Despite Keith having fallen asleep, moving him around in a wheel chair was ten time easiler. Leo was able to keep up with Sara for the most part, only slowly down before she said the coast was clear. He smiled triumphantly, seeing the parkinglot just ahead of them.
"Awesome." Leo said once they we're outside. So far, so good.

When Sara turned away from the truck though, Leo frowned. Where was she going? Leo squinted against the late afternoon sun to keep an eye on Sara. Hearing a powerful engine roar to life, Leo turned Keith around smoothily and headed over to the SUV.

"I'll ask how you managed that later." Leo said, taking Keith's arm over his shoulder to get him into the back seat of the SUV. Once Keith was situated, Leo collasped the wheelchair and tossed it in the trunk before joining Sara in the front seat. He grinned at her and sat back. They'd did it.
