One x One with: Blacksoal

Roxa blinked as Keith left, "drive careful," she called after him friendly. Then looked down at Iggy as he let out a high pitched whine of frustration at being restrained from following him. She smiled and scooped him up her in arms, hugging him tightly and kissed his cheek as she kept him safely away from Keith in her lap.
Iggy snarled, twisting violently as Roxa began to coddle and kiss him, "don't! Let go, I'm not a child!"
Roxa laughed, "you're my child. I can kiss you if I want." She kissed his cheek again, giggling as he let out a whine and went limp in her arms out of depression.

Vaix watched Keith come and go, giving a soft nod to the vampire as he grabbed the keys and took off. He shrugged, looking back at the TV program and smiling again as he grew caught up in it once more, like he did with all the new technology out these days. His fingers continued to work soothingly along the top of Shaye's head, feeling her relax and practically fall asleep from his attention towards her.

Keith walked out of the hotel, tossing the keys in the air and expertly catching them. He glanced around the parking lot, spotting Shaye's car and walking over. Carefully he unlocked it, sliding into the front seat of the mustang. He loved this car, it was designed for speed, which he needed right now. Starting it, he winced as Shaye's music blasted out of the iPod connected to the car. Cautiously he turned it down, not wanting to break the fragile music player.

Shaye sighed and slowly drifted into a relaxed sleep. She wasn't even tired, but Vaix had made her so with all of his attention. She sighed, contend and let her eye lids flutter one last time before she fell asleep. It was odd, she had never really believed that vampires slept, well Keith very rarely did, and now she found herself sleeping more then she had when she had been mortal.

Michelle lifted his head from sitting in the parking lot when Keith emerged, he blinked as Keith drove off, but didn't move to follow, drifting back into his mind as the car 's motor hummed in the distance.

Vaix smiled as Shaye finally completely went out of it. He chuckled, still watching the program, his fingers still running through her hair and over her scalp gently as he watched. She was happy, which in tun made him very happy for her. After everything that's happened, he was glad they could have moments like this.

Keith turned sharply, quickly finding the highway and just driving. His own music was playing now, loudly. He wove dangerously through traffic. Well dangerous for a human, not for a vampire who had a reaction time like his. Sighing he effortlessly shifted gears, letting the car fly through the not busy freeway.

Shaye sighed, completely content. She knew she was asleep, but her thoughts were stil coherent. She could hear the TV, and the occasional bouts of laughter, so it was still comedy. Sighing again, she shifed, her face now turned so it was pressed into Vaix's hip, off of his leg. She purred subconciously, still aware of his fingers in her hair and scalp.

Vaix purred when Shaye did, smiling again as the show drew to a conclusion, then closing his eyes and leaning his head back comfortably, glancing over as Shaye's head moved to his hip. His smile grew wider, more loving, he just watched her as he'd done with the TV. Not laughing, just watching her as she slept there.

Shaye heard the closing credits, aware that the show was over, but she was far to comfortable to even bother waking up. It was so nice, being able to relaxe, without any drama. She sighed, turning a bit again so that her face was pressed lightly into the back of the couch. She often moved when she slept, unable to keep still.

Vaix smiled as Shaye moved again, it was rather amusing to watch, because she didn't just lay there. He could see facial expressions and hear her sighs and watch her move. He gave another content, happy smile. Watching Shaye alone with a loving look to dwarf the ones he'd given her before. Because here, he could smile as widely as he wanted, and he wouldn't be embarrassing her.

Shaye's back arched a bit, as she continued to move about. She recalled friends hating sleep overs with her because she always kicked them, or pushed them off of the bed. A happy sigh escaped her, before she went still and silent for awhile, content. The she began to move again, she drew her knees in, curling about them, her forhead actually touching the top of her knees. It looked rather uncomfortable, as she was bent into a circle, but for her it was just fine.

Vaix watched her with a slight look of concern as she curled in on herself. It looked both unnatural, and very uncomfortable. He tilted his head one way, then the other, pondering acting on it, or leaving her be. She didn't look like the position was causing her discomfort, so he sighed and gave in to letting her get away with the position, though he wouldn't be surprised if she woke with back pains later.

Shaye sighed, confortable and content. It was strange, but she found that positions like this were extremely comfortable, for her at least. A soft purr escaped from her, before she fell silent again, sound asleep on the cough. She twitched lightly, her body relaxing and still.

Vaix watched her and gave a soft chuckle, looking up in surprise as the TV screamed at him as some horror movie came on. He frowned, then pressed power, not in the mood for any such things at the moment. The last thing he needed was other fantasys to come to attention.

Shaye's eyes flew open at the scream.
"Huh?" She said, sitting up and rapidly uncurling her body. She glanced from Vaix to the blank TV screen, wondering if she had dreamt the screaming.

Vaix looked down at her with an amused smile, "TV." He explained in one word. He gave a soft chuckle, then looked over at the blank screen, then back down at her. "You okay? It didn't scare you did it?"

"It did a bit" She admitted, laughing softly at herself. She shrugged and stretched out, arms above her head, before she allowed them to drop back down to hersides.
"I guess because the TV was off, I thought it was real" She laughed again good naturedly.

Vaix smiled and shook his head with a soft laugh, "no. No screaming people in here... Just next door..." He was referring to the sharp whines coming from Iggy in the room next to theirs. It wasn't really all the loud, just a muffled sound through the walls. Probably from Roxa being affectionate or something.

"Ah" Shaye said with a grin, stretching some more and sighing.
"Poor Iggy" She said, although her smile remained. It was somewhat entertaining to see Roxa smothering Iggy.
"Why does she do that? Be so affectionate with him even though she knows he hates it?"

Vaix chuckled, then shook his head. "I'm not to sure, probably because it's amusing, and for the fact that she does love him. She can only go so long before spreading her affections, these things weal up when they're kept inside for too long you know..." He glanced at the wall as Roxa gave a loud feminine purr, and Iggy snarled viciously in return. He smiled and looked back at Shaye, "It's not cruel however, even if he hates it now, when he's all alone and depressed, he'll have these things to remember. It lets him know he is loved, even if he hates it."

Shaye nodded, "Makes sense. Just as long as she doesn't get that way with me" She grumbled, crossing her arms. She still wasn't overjoyed at Roxa being there, and she had a feeling that the vampire would start approaching her, almost as if everything were forgotten, which it wasn't. Shaye wasn't one to hold a grudge, but she was making an exception with Roxa.

"I doubt she'll gain enough confidence to ever touch you again Shaye." Vaix replied back with an almost cold sounding voice. He was still upset over Roxa's whole freak out issue, the reasoning wasn't proper. There was nothing about her story to forgive.He was one to hold grudges, though compared to the one he had for his younger brother, it was a small one for Roxa. So long as she never tried it again, he'd be fine with allowing her to be in the family.

"Good" Shaye murmured, leaning against him and sighing. She knew Vaix was fine with Roxa as long as she didn't do anything stupid. But she, on the other hand wanted nothing to do with Roxa. Although the others diidn't realize it Roxa had done something to her. She sighed, she wasn't ready to share that with anyone yet. Her actions had practically paralled with her parent's treatments of her, her siblings. She sighed and pulled her knees up, resting her head against Vaix's shoulder, feeling a bit down suddenly.

Vaix stopped when Shaye curled into a ball against him, he blinked and looked over at her curiously, running his fingers through her hair as he spotted her frown. "You okay love? I didn't say something to upset you did I?" He could tell she was upset, whether it was her body language or just his being so connected to her he didn't know, he just knew something wasn't right.

"Yea fine" She said, smiling brightly. "You didn't say anything" She grinned and ran her finger's through her hair after him. Carefully she shook out her hair, before returning her head to his side. She was used to letting him soothe her, which he was really good at.

"Yeah?" Vaix watched her smile, and smiled in return. Embracing her as she returned to his side after fixing her hair after he'd messed it up again. He pulled her gently into his lap, holding her against him as he smiled down at her. "You'd tell me if I did things you didn't approve of right?"

Shaye laughed softly as he curled her into his lap.
"Of course. When have you ever known me to keep my feelings to my self?" She teased, smiling up at him. She shifted a bit, so she was stretched out a bit. Her legs were on the couch next to him, so that she was lying on her side, on his lap. She glanced at the TV.
"Want me to find another comedy show?" She asked, remembering how he had gotten into the last one.

"If you want," Vaix replied back with a casual shrug, finding the remote and offering it to her politely. He glanced at the black screen, then flinched slightly at the volume of Iggy's whine as it ripped past the walls, followed by a noise of frustration from Roxa, signaling she'd given up on pushing anymore affection into Iggy.
Vaix shook his head and gave a soft laugh, "at least Iggy will be quiet now." It was true, Roxa had gotten a far amount of love into the kid, so unless someone died, he'd be grumpy for a while.
