Only Time will tell.

Yakun's eyes slowly opened from their closed state, she had fallen asleep she thought at first. She no longer felt Xayden at her side, her ears perked hearing sounds around their camp site and the barrier. She stood looking over at Keega, who was asleep up In that tree. She trotted over to Xayden, glancing around. "I can't see them, but I can hear them. Do they plan to attack?" She questioned.

Terra grumbled under her breath about whatever she was ranting about in her head. She sat up, it was useless to sleep, and she was thirsty. Turning to Sara Tara asked "Where's the water?" in bored voice it wasn't in their tent, she could tell that by a quick glance around them. She could still hear rain pounding on their tent, and heard yet another resonating boom. She clenched her teeth in distress, at the storm, hoping it would stop soon.

Korin awoke with a start as a shrill scream rang through the air. "Shit," Korin growled, standing and walking from the tent. "What the hell was that?" she asked, looking around for Xayden.

Xayden snarled loudly.
"They plan to, but wont succeed. They're here, but only in a half form, they can't stay on Earth for long, they're losing power" He said, his voice harsh. He glanced around, hearing the loud, peircing scream.
"Korin?" He cried, whipping around and seeing her. Relief flooded him, she hadn't screamed, she wasn't hurt.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his eyes wild.

Sara shrugged, rolling over.
"It's not here, that's for sure" She said, gasping as the loud scream sounded around the area.
"What was that?" She asked, throwing open the tent flaps and struggling out.

Terra jumped, shooting out of the tent and into the clearing. "What's going on?" She growled, she went to stand by Xayden, noticing the demons and linking them to the scream. She didn't know though, it could of been anything. She looked around, turning in a slow circle to get a full view of the forest before stopping and turning her head upwards to scan the trees. Returning her gaze to the beings surrounding them, she hardened her gaze, they didn't look strong enough to fight, but they'd try to cause the group harm all the same.

Sara stood near Xayden, closer to Terra. The demons were everywhere, yet she could see right through them. She frowned, anger boiling inside her. This was the first time she, or any of them, besdies Xayden, Korin, Yakun and Keegan had seen them. These were the very reason that she was here, fighting for her, and everyone elses life.
"Theres so many" She whispered, numb. Her fists clenched. Her eyes scanned the area, searching for who ever, whatever, had screamed.

Korin nodded, walking over. "Yeah. I'm fine." Her heart was racing. "That scream just woke me up. The same scream rang through the clearing. The scream hurt Korin's ears. She growled, covering her ears in pain. She crouched to the ground. The scream continued. "Make it stop. It makes my ears hurt." She mumbled. She wasn't talking to anyone in particular, just talking.

"We'd make it stop if we knew what it was" Xayden said, dark eyes scanning the area.
"I suppose I should go check it out" He muttered, although he wasn't sure. The demons knew his weakness, knew all of their weaknesses, and if he went out, he wouldn't be able to get back into the camp. The barrier spell would repell him as well. He dropped down next to Korin, wrapping his arms around her protectively as the scream came again, and again.
"I think they're trying to draw us out, to get us to go them" He said, the scream was to convient, it was a trap.

The screaming stopped and Korin breathed a sigh of relief. "I hate being human," she muttered. She looked at Xayden and then uncovered her ears, blinking several times. "I really wish they would leave me alone." Korin said, blowing her bangs from her face.

~I could play a bad demon? He's gonna control Yakun, but you can kill him off.~

"I know" He said sadly, wrapping his arms around her tighter. The rain still was falling hard, and he was worried about her.
"They were trying to trick us into leaving the camp" He told her, wishing he could warm her up. Even he could tell her skin was cold to the touch, and his own icy body was probably making it worse.
"There's nothing wrong with being human" He whispered softly. He envied humans sometimes, they're lives were so fleeting that every moment mattered, not like his own long lige.

The crowd of demons parted, as a large up-right wolf stepped fowards with ruby like fur. Black around the eyes, ears, the nose, his wrists, and ankles. Large silver claws came from his paws, two sharp fangs showed from his muzzle. He wore shorts but no shirt. His eyes were glowing, capturing the eyes of Yakun. The she-wolf demons eyes begain to glow like the larger wolf demon. Yakun kept at Xayden first, missed the jumped through the barrier, breaking It. She stood Infront of the demon, snarling at her friends. She was being controled. "Hello." The wolf known as Kur growled. Keegan jumped from his trees, glaring at the wolf with hatered. "I thought..." He drifted off.

Xayden snarled, standing and placing himself in front of Korin. He stared at the wolves, his dark eyes angry.
"Keegan?" He asked, knowing he would understand what had happened better then anyone. His eyes never left the demons, he could scent them now, the putrid scent of sulpher burning his nose.

Sara gasped as the barreir failed. She saw the demonic wolf, her eyes wide with terror.
"What-what do we do?" She breathed, terrified.

Terra tensed, jumping back as Yakun lunged at Xayden. Her eyes darted from, Xayden, to Korin, to Yakun, and rested on the demon wolf that had just stepped towards them. She snarled, she was in a fighting stance, her one foot ahead of the other, bent and ready to jump, one fist was balled up by her side, ready to swing the other was higher up by her chin. She tensed and glared at the creature, trying to decide what to do.

Korin jumped up as the demon broke through the barrier. "Oh great," Korin snarled, stepping back. The demons on the other side growled and snarled, jumping at the barrier that she was almost pressed against. They never broke the barrier, not like the wolf thing did. They just hit it and bounced off. Korin's breathing quicked and her heart rate sped up drastically. She glanced at the group that stood in front of her. She shook with fright. They were trying to kill her. There was no way around that fact. She shuddered and then locked her eyes on the wolf.

"His name Is Kur. I'm he controls wolves. If you must fight, take It easy on my sister she has no control over herself. Kur's weakness Is his right ear." Keegan's ears pressed hard on his head. He hated this demon, always chasing them two, and he was almost powerless. "I will help too." He snarled.
"Ah Keegan you know me all too well don't you?" Kur snickered. "Indeed I am the king of the demon wolves." He patted Yakun's head. "Go after the human first my dear Yakun." Yakun had no emotion on her face as she started fowards snarling. "I'm ready on your mark sir." Keegan said.

"Don't let them get Korin, do whatever it takes" Xayden snapped, staring at Kur. He knew he could take him, but that meant leave Korin without a guard.
"Sara, stay with her" He said to the girl, tensing as he lunged forward.

Sara nodded and quickly moved beside Korin. Concentrating she began to make all the metallic objects in the camp float, melting them and reforming them into knives, swords and various other sharp objects. Quickly the objects surrounded her and Korin, making sure nothing could get through.
"Stay down" She whispered to the girl, watching Xayden nervously.

Korin gulped, eyes wide. "No," Korin shook her head, "Don't go for the human first Yukan dear." Korin growled. "I swear, if you touch me I will kill you." She snarled at Yukan. Her stubborness returned and her sarcastic manner came back with a vengence. She rolled her eyes. "Poor little puppy, can't even control her own mind." Then she ducked as a something flew at her head. She turned around to see a dagger flying through the air. It hit the barrier and went right through, stabbing another demon.
