This Mask is Not Me

Shaye smiled.
"Sheesh, I guess you're all about the black and red" She said laughing a bit.
"They look good" She said, shifting the stuff in her arms around, so she had a free hand.
"Alright, your board's done, so all we need are a pair of boots, and then we're ready" She said, smiling.

"Do you have money for all this stuff?" He asked her curiously looking over at her with a smile. "I mean, all this equipment will be expensive, and we still need clothes." All his money had been blown sky high with Seth's little explosive parade, so he was sort of dependent of Shaye to keep his social life in tact.
He looked down at the boots, they looked the same as each other for the most part. Only fine details seperating them, like colour, or maybe a small design, or brand name. He sat down and looked up at Shaye, "I have no clue what I want," he said with a clueless smile

"Of course, Keith and both have massive bank accounts" She said, smiling and showing him three credit cards and a debit card. Unlike the others, Keith had taken to keeping his money in a bank, so he always had something. She grinned and walked over to the counter, quickly paying for everything.
"Here, Keith said to give you one" She said, smiling and handing him a black card.

Vaix took the card and looked at it quickly, then placed it in his pocket and looked up at Shaye with a smile. "Thanks," he said with a bit of a relived smile. He felt bad taking Keith's money, but since Seth came along, he was broke. He glanced back at the boots and sighed, "I better just pick one."

Shaye smiled. "Alright" She said, accepting two stuffed bags from the cashier, as well as her board. She had picked a white board with a purple design on the bottom. A grey and blue jacket, and grey and black board pants. Her boots and goggles were grey as well.

Vaix grabbed a random pair of black boots in his size and stuck them with the rest of his stuff, paying for them quickly with the card, then walking out with Shaye, holding his board under his arm. "Where to now?" he asked curiously.

"Well we get changed into our stuff, and then we hit the slopes" She said, grinning at him.
"So lets head back to the room" She said, hitting the 'up' button for the elevator. She slipped her bags over her arm and re-adjusted her board.

Vaix stood at the elevator entrance with a look of uncertainty, still haunted by the whole plane ride thing. Elevators were no different, trapped in a box while it moved you to who knows were. He took a hesitant step back, then sighed and followed Shaye in. "This thing better not run into storms or anything," he growled.

"Oh jeez, I forgot that you hated elevators" She said, smiling at him. "It won't get stuck in any storms" She said, smiling at him. "It'll be fine" She said, reaching over and touching his hand reassuringly.
"Come on, we're already here" She said as the doors bigned open, and she was able to step out, making room for him to get out.

Vaix practically jumped from the elevator, giving a relieved sigh now that it was over. He looked at Shaye with a friendly looking, almost triumphant smile, then started off towards the hotel room. Lugging his stuff around as he did.

Andy yawned stretching as Iggy sat between herself and Lily. She sighed as watched as Keith now leaned against Roxa and Iggy leaned against Lily. Lily was chuckling. "I might just do that," she said, answering their motion to be covered in blood more often. Andy stretched her legs in front of her, liking her abnormal height for a girl. She sighed and leaned heavily against the back of the chair.

Lily felt Iggy's head on her shoulder. She didn't mind. She glanced at Roxa. She was messing with keith's hair. Whenever Iggy was calm, Roxa was mess with Iggy's hair. Lily shook her head, but relaxed her her chair, being smaller and a lot shorter than Keith, Iggy, Vaix, and Andy. She yawned, accidently revealing her own fangs and let her muscles relax slightly.

Keith kicked his legs out again, nudging Andy a bit with his foot.
"Sorry" He muttered, barely opening his eyes. He was the tallest of all his friends, and he tended to get cramped up fairly easily.

Shaye rolled her eyes at Vaix, walking much slower after him. She stepped into the hotel room, and dropped her stuff on the floor.
"Come on, let's get changed" She muttered, walking into the washroom.

Andy glanced at Keith. "It's all good," she murmured sleepily. Andy's eyes closed. She yawned without openign her eyes and then rolled her head sleepily to the side.

Lily looked at Andy, trying to sleep. Lily was extremely sleep also. She closed her eyes like the rest, except Roxa, and yawned again.

Iggy watched Lily from under his curtain of blond hair and smiled, everyone was content, which was a docile medium emotion, he tended to not have any reaction from it. Everyone around him was sleepy and content, so he was sleepy and content as well. His broken sounding ppurr rose in his throat as he closed his eyes to sleep, still leaning against Lily.

Roxa watched Keith streach again and sighed. She felt bad for him, herself being rather average height wise, Keith always seemed to manage to bump into something when he layed down due to his long legs. Andy was no better. Roxa was happy with her size, she wouldn't trade it for any other.
She continued to run her fingers soothingly through Keith's short, brown hair, watching everyone practically fall alseep in front of her.

Vaix dropped his stuff with Shaye's and looked around. "Where? Is there a second washroom or were you planning to have me change with you?" He smiled and watched as she entered the washroom. He looked around again, and had spotted a bedroom he could use to get changed. He awaited her answer anyways.

Shaye rolled her eyes at Vaix's comment, but let him figure it out. She quickly pulled on a pair of jans that she had bought, and a pair of socks. Quickly she pulled the board pants on and slid her jacket on. She laced up her boots, and stepped back into the hall.
"Ready?" She called, seeing the bedroom door was still closed.

Keith purred as well, not really paying attention to anyone else. He was really enjoying the attention that Roxa was giving him.

Vaix had gone into the bedroom when she hadn't responded. He'd quickly chaged and exited the room, looking up at Shaye with a soft, barely noticable smile. "Which slop are we going to?" he asked curiously to her as he walked over, his new pants making so much noise as he moved it made him growl.

Roxa just sighed boredly and looked around as she played with keith's hair.

"I was thinking the bunny hill, at least for your first time" She said, grabbing her board.
"It's just your pants silly, they're brusing together" She said, grabbing her goggles from the chair and slipped them onto her head.
"Ready?" She asked, smiling at him and holding out a gloved hand.

Keith yawned and stretched out again, pushing against both Roxa and Andy this time.
"Sorry" He said again, embaressed.

"It's alright," Roxa replied with a smile, looking over at Keith again. "If you say sorry so much, eventually it'll lose it's meaning. No one minds, go ahead and stretch out." She fluffed up his hair playfully then flattened it back it place.

Vaix put his goggles on as well and smiled up at her again. "The bunny hill. Sure sounds terrifying Shaye." He chuckled and took her free hand, walking out of the hotel calmly and trying to ingore the noise his pants made as he walked.

"Oh yea, but it's a good place for beginners" She said, smiling and walking out of the hotel, not caring about the noise of her pants. She use to board all the time, and had even at one point competed. She sighed, and led the way, towards the slopes.

"Oh, fine then" Keith said, kicking out his legs and even sliding his legs onto Andy's lap. His head moved a bit, sliding a bit lower on Roxa's shoulders as he stretched even more.
"I'm way to tall" He muttered.

"Yes, you are." Roxa agreed with a smile, "but to be honest, I couldn't picture you any other height. You're perfect the way you are." She fluffed up his hair again, but didn't fix it this time.

Vaix followed her, once again having no idea where he was going and depending on her completely as a guide. He just held tight onto her hand and let her lead him around like a dog, observing his surroundings so he didn't get lost later on when he wanted to go off on his own.

Andy yawned and sighed as Keith's legs were placed in her lap. "Yes Keith," she said sarcastically, "You may put your feet in my lap." She really didn't mind. She'd done it several times when they would just hang out. Keith and herself were usually more a tangle of arms and legs more than anything, both being at leats several inches over 6 feet tall. While the short ones; Lily, Jay, and Shaye, would be just fine in their little confined space. Andy and Keith were close so it was usually either Keith had his legs in Andy's lap or the other way around.

Lily glanced at the Andy. She could feel the friendship between Keith and Andy. It was pretty much overwhelming.

Keith laughed and shrugged his shoulders. "Meh, if I recall correctly, you pretty much fell asleep on me the other night, so this is only payback" He said, smiling a bit at Andy. "Thanks Roxa" He said, letting her fluff his hair without whining. Unlike Iggy, any other time Roxa had tried to play with his hair he would've growled. But right now he didn't mind at all.

"There we go" Shaye said, pointing at the smallish hill. Large groups of people were on it, mostly kids, their parents, or ski instructors.
"It's a good place to start" She said, smiling at him.

Andy looked at him. "When?" she ran the past few nights through her head, then chuckled. "Oh. Yeah. Right." She kicked her feet out again, almost tripping several people. "Move your feet," one man yelled. He was so loud most people turned to look at her. "Watch where you're walking," Andy shot back. The man grumbled and walked away. Andy chuckled.

Roxa watched the guy snap at Andy and Keith, she sighed. "Behold he troubles of being to tall." She fixed Keith's hair after reciving a minimal reaction over it. It sure was different, having him not snarl at her for playing around with his hair, she wasn't sure if she liked it, or if it was a tad boring having all the guys liking to be fussed over.

"Okay," Vaix replied, examining the hill. It was puny, but the idea of going down it made it seem so much bigger and steeper. He smiled and walked to the top with Shaye, "any tips, or explinations? Or do I just wing it?"

Keith reached up a hand and messed up his hair a bit. He normally just wore it how it dried, and hated when it laid prefectly flat. He shook his head, pretty much undoing all Roxa's work.
"You should have tripped him" Keith muttered, glaring at the man.

"Um, if you're gonna fall, try not to go forward. If you need to stop, just sit down, and ummmm, also, don't try turning yet" She said, walking up to the top of the hill with her own board.
