This Mask is Not Me

Roxa rolled her eyes at him, "oh gee, that's nice Keith." She ran her fingers trough his messy hair, then fluffed it up again, without flattening it upon learning he favoured it messy, and ran her fingers through his hair again. "You're so silly."

"No turning, or leaning forward, got it." He pushed the goggles down, seeing as how they'd been laying on top of his head, so they covered his eyes, then sat down ad stuck his feet into the foot holds on the board. Struggling to stand up for a second, before throing his weight forward and letting him get back up again. He glanced at the hill and looked over a Shaye with a look of uncertianty.

She slipped her feet into the straps on her own board.
"You'll do great" She said, leaving her goggles on top of her head, and standing up with no visible problem.
"Just sit back down if you freak or feel like you're gonna fall" She expertly navigated her way halfway down the hill, turning expertly and stopping halfway. She turned so that she could watch him.

Keith shrugged. "I suppose I'm just a huge pain hey?" He said, shaking his head again, happy that she'd messed up his hair again.

"Not huge, just a little inconvenience sometimes. She giggled and ran her finger through his hair again and again.

Vaix stared at the hill, then at Shaye, then at the hill again. He sighed, then leaned forward and wobbled as it moved forward, his eyes wide as he gained speed then zoomed past Shaye without remembering how to stop.

"Oh jeez" Shaye muttered, turning and following behind Vaix.
"Sit down" She called, shaking her head as she sped down beside him. She sighed and managed to beat him to the button, and sat down on the a bench, watching him speed towards her.

Keith shrugged, shaking his head a bit, but not growling at her. He was letting her fuss this once. He highly doubted he'd ever be this docile again, so it was good of her to take advantage of it.

Andy yawned. "I know I should've," she said. She looked at Roxa. "He's never going to let you do that again. So, take it while it lasts." She looked down at Keith's feet and yawned again. She relaxed a little more and slid down slightly in the seat. Several guys, not nearly tall enough to reach Andy's head, were staring at her. She rolled her eyes and closed them. She knew they wouldn't approach, what with Keith and Iggy both sitting beside her and all. She yawned again and then her head rolled sleepily to the side.

Lily was watching the guys stare at Andy. She had always hated when guys stared at her. It annoyed her. Now when girls stared, in jeasously and hatred, she loved it. It was amusing to her.

Keith laughed a bit at Andy's comment. She knew him pretty well, and was right. He yawned again and looked around the airline terminal, noting the guys staring at Andy, but not really caring. They wouldn't be stupid enough to just walk up to her with both him and Iggy sitting there. He looked around at his friends, Iggy was odviously content, like him. Roxa was most likely enjoying the fact that she had Keith to fuss over, Andy was tired, and Lily looked annoyed. He guessed that the guys staring at Andy bugged her. Andy always attracted a lot of attention, but he figured most guys were intimidated by Lily. It wasn't as if she weren't attractive, but her general demanour tended to intimidate the toughest guy. She scared him half the time.

Lily closed her eyes, trying to ignore the boys. She was more tired than she thought. She was almost instantly asleep.

Andy sighed and yawned again, adjusting Keith's feet in her lap. She yawned again, stretching out and almost tripping several people again, and then closed her eyes tighter. She fell asleep. She figured, knowing the loing week everyone else has had, they would probably fall asleep too.

Roxa gave a nod as she watched Andy start to look tired, everyone was falling asleep before her, and she was wide awake. She sighed, then smiled and fussed Keith's hair with both hands and kissing the top of his head in family oriented way. She looked at Andy again, knowing the angel had a thing for Keith, or so it appeared, maybe she'd ask Iggy about it later, seeing as how he always seemed to know what was going on with people.

Vaix sat as soon as he was told, not even regestering who had told him to in the first place. The was a soft thud, and he'd stopped. Vaix looked at Shaye, then at himself all sunken in the snow, then looked at it from her veiw. He burt into laughter and fell over onto his back.

Keith glanced up at Roxa as she kissed his head. He laughed softly, knowing that it was more of a family oriented thing as opposed to like an attraction. He sighed, content, watching as the others fell asleep around him.

Shaye stood at the bottom of the hill, laughing a little.
"Good job, for your first time" She said, stepping out of her board and walking over to him.
"Wanna try again? Or lay here?" She asked, smiling brightly.

A plane number was called above Andy's head. "Shit," she mumbled as she jumped from fright. She glanced down at her tickets. She struggled with Keith's legs for a second, then gave up. "Can you get your legs off of me?" she asked. "That's our plane." She hit Lily whom started awake, almost jostling Iggy's head off of her shoulder. "That's our plane," Andy said pointing to the terminal. "We have to go."

Keith slid his legs from Andy's lap, and stood up. He stretched, towering over his friends that were still seated. He was taller then Andy, but not by that much. He held out his hand for his ticket, smiling at her. With his spare hand he rubbed his eyes, trying to wake up. He still couldn't believe how tired he actually was. He had feeling that he was going to spend most of the flight asleep or almost asleep.

Andy sighed, handing him his ticket as she stood. She passed out the tickets. "Everybody ready?" she asked, but didn't wait for an answer, she started toward the plane terminal and then slowed down so everyone else could keep up. She knew Keith and Iggy could keep up, with long legs like her's, but she wasn't so sure about Lily and Roxa, so she waited.

Iggy bounced awake when Lily jolted, he glanced from Keith to Andy to Roxa with a startled expression, then took the ticket Andy handed to him. He'd been asleep, so he had no idea what was going on anymore. He just followed after Andy with the balance of a drunk guy.

Roxa laughed as Andy sped forward, she tried her best to keep up, but her legs were too short to match Andy's pace, so she'd eventually slowly fall behind. She looked at Lily, who seemed to have the same problem. She sighed and smiled calmly, racing along after Andy as quickly as she could without looking strained.

"Oh wow," Vaix replied after he'd managed to stop laughing. "That was rather pathetic wasn't it? A total comedy spectical." He sat up and looked at her, covered in snow. "Sure, I'll try again." He slipped out off his board and started up the hill again, desparet to do better than his last attempt.

Keith walked along slowly, a little behind Iggy. He yawned and stopped to wait for the few people in front of him to give their tickets to the attendant. He yawned again, and glanced around. The line was short, the flight would be fairly empty, which would be nice.

Shaye smiled at him, walking up beside him.
"Actually, you're way better then me the first time I went" She said, grinning at him. "I went head first into a snowbank" She said, laughing at herself.
They reached the top of the hill and sat down quickly strapping her feet into the board.
"Ready?" She asked, hopping up.

Iggy, unlike his brother, had used a plane before, he'd flown one actually, out of curiosity. He'd just borrowed it for a while while the others weren't looking, it had ended in disaster though, he'd crashed into some sky scrapper and had only survided it from jumping out of the plane before it crashed. That way he hadn't been caught up in the crash flames. He yawned and followed after slowly, hopping he could stick his head out the plane window or something.

Vaix sighed staring at the hill again, "yeah." He replied quietly, still a little spooked from the first try. He glanced at Shaye, then pushed off, gaining as much speed as before, but going along with it instead of freaking out because he'd forgotten know how to stop. He zoomed along, still wobbly then slowed as the hill stopped.

Keith handed his ticket to the lady and walked down the long ramp towards the plane. Once inside he immediately found his first class seat and sat down. Yawning he glanced out the window, watching the people on the tarmac.

Shaye made her way slowly down the hill, making large loopy turns. She stopped beside him and smiled.
"That was awesome" She said, grinning at him as she stopped.
"So wanna do this hill again? Or do you wanna take the chair to the top and do one of the bigger runs?" She asked, she didn't know how he would do with the chair lift, it was way worse then a plane, and a bit scary. She actually loved it, but she wasn't sure how he'd feel.

Vaix looked at her for a second without saying anything. "What's a chair lift? An elevator of some sort." He hated elevators, but he'd tolerate them when he had no other option. "I could try a bigger hill I suppose," he gave a semi confident, semi unsure smile as he got out of his board and took her hand. "Lead the way, Shaye."

"Um.." Shaye smiled akwardly and pointed up. A chair lift was above their heads.
"That's a chair lift" She said, smiling at him. "They're totally safe though" She said, trying in advance to reassure him. She knew he would balk at the idea, but she really wanted to hit a bigger run. She didn't mind if he wanted to ditch and go back to the hotel, because she knew that she would ride for a few hours still.

Vaix looked up, his eyes buldged very quickly at the sight of chairs on wires. "Oh.." he shuddered, then looked at Shaye. "What if I fall off!" His eyes grew scared quickly, it looked far worse than any elevator he'd seen or ridden on before, much worse than cars, or planes. He shuddered again.

"Theres a special bar that prevents you from falling" She said, taking his hand. She had already undone one foot, and was half sliding towards a shortish line.
"Babe, it'll be fine. I'll be with you the whole time, I won't let you fall" She said, smiling reassuringly at him.
"If you don't want to, you can always head back to the hotel, I'm gonna go up though" She said, not wanting to push him at all.

vaix stared up at the chair thing without saying anything, just watching it as he mentally figured out what he wanted, if he though it was worth the risk, if he was comfortable enough to even try going on that thing. He gave Shaye's hand a sqeeze and looked at the floor with the same expression of horror as when he'd stared up at it. "I-I'll go...I guess. You better not let me fall," he whispered.

She wrapped her arms around him. "You wont fall, and I definately wont let you" She said. They were next in line, and she helped him glide so that he could get on the chair, it gently hit the back of their knees, and they sat. She quickly reached above her head and pulled down the metal bar.
"See, not that bad" She whispered, leaning over and lightly kissing his cheek.

OOC:: Sorry, I kind of controlled Vaix, there, but it was the easiest way to get them up on the chair.

Vaix shuddered and just followed her lead, watching the metal bar go over him and lock him in place. He felt the chair start to move, and flinched. Looking at Shaye with wide terrified eyes. He considered jumping off, but guessed this thing was like a plane, you were trapped until you got to the other side. He closed his eyes and took in a sharp breath of air, but to his own surprise it only made him feel unstable and scared. He looked down as the ground grew far away, he gripped the metal bar for his life, bending it horribly out of shape with one hand, and gripping Shaye's tightly with the other.

Shaye smiled reassuringly at Vaix.
"You'll be fine" She said, leaning back and admiring the view. She didn't really mind that Vaix was scared, a lot of her friends were. She sighed a bit, feeling the intense pressure on her hands. She didn't mind, he couldn't break it or anything. The guys on the lift ahead of them were swinging a bit on their chair, and because of it, their chair was rocking a bit.

Andy sighed and yawned, sitting down and looking as everyone followed. Lily plopped down in a seat, sighing. "I am so tired." Lily complained. Andy gestured for Iggy and Roxa to sit down first and then she would sit in the other spot.
