Shaye smiled and leaned against him, relieved that, for the time being, everything was fine, or well, as fine as it could get. She smiled, blinking away the last of her tears, and brushed the tears from her cheeks.
"Sure, I'd love to do something" She murmured, smiling at him, before pressing forward against his chest, not wanting to move. She was still a bit worried, but she figured she should just focus on the now, with Vaix. She was relieved that Raven had stopped screaming at Vaix, it was sort of nice, though she knew he'd hear it later. It was just another conviction that, despite what Vaix said, Raven did not like her.
"What do you wanna do?" She asked him, her voice slightly muffled, considering her face, her lips were pressed against his chest.

Vaix smiled as Shaye appeared to calm down, he was glad, he didn't want her to be upset anymore, and certainly not because of him. He ran his fingers affectionately through her hair, then blinked thoughtfully at Shaye's question. "Well...we could still go for a fly, if you wanted, if not, maybe a walk into town, something like that..." He kissed her lightly, at this point finding Keith was one of the things listed in the back of his mind. He wanted Shaye to be happy again, then he'd have to find a nice quiet place to deal with Raven, or she'd grudge. After that, he'd need to find Keith and Michelle. Vaix stayed seated, listening for Shaye's response on what to do, he was fine with just sitting outside as well, Shaye'd been through a lot, and he wouldn't blame her if she wanted to just be here...

Shaye shrugged. She wanted to try flying, but at the same time, she was worried Raven might flip out in like mid air. She may be a vampire, so she wouldn't die, but she had no desire to fall.
"Honestly, I'm good with whatever, what do you want to do?" She asked, looking at him and sighing. She rubbed her hand over her face, looking up at him again. She couldn't make the choice right now, her mind was still racing.
"You pick" She shrugged, she'd be find going along with what he chose, it was easier then making up her own mind. She rubbed her hand over her face again, she probably looked like death. Closing her eyes, she focused for a minute, then, she suddenly looked fresh. She had shifted into a earlier version of her normal appearance.

Vaix looked thoughtful for a second, frowning, he did want to fly. Seeing as how everything lined up so perfectly for it. But on the other hand, it would be a lot to ask of Shaye, if she wanted to ride on his back, she'd need to pay attention. Though if she fell he'd catch her, he didn't want her experience to be spoiled. She'd need to hold on to him, to not be afraid of hurting him if she felt she was falling off. He wasn't sure if she was stable enough for it. Raven he wasn't concerned about, the demon was angry, but she wasn't stupid. If she startled him in flight, it could end badly, so he knew, for the sake of their body, she wouldn't snarl at him. He sighed, guessing he should just ask Shaye if she was up for it, then decide otherwise after. "Flying?" he asked curiously, "if you feel strong enough to hold onto me..."

"Sure" Shaye mumured, smiling.
"My side's healed" She pulled up her shirt, revealing to him the badly bruised, but whole, not broken skin. Her side was stained silver however, from her blood. She looked at him, "I can hold on" She said, shrugging. She slid off his lap, standing up and stretching. Her shirt rode up a bit, revelaing the toned, pale skin of her stomach. Brushing her fingers through her now clean hair, she smiled down at him. When she shifted, she had just changed her face and hair, her side was still a bit sore, and shifting could break bones if she tried when injured.
"So?" She asked, looking down at him, a bit like the normal Shaye now. She was still having mixed feelings about this, but she'd regret it if she didn't try.

Vaix smiled up at her as she stretched, he was glad her wound had healed up, it reassured him she'd be okay. "Alright," he muttered, standing and stretching out his wings to their full span, then looked over at her with a soft smile. "So then I'll just tell you a few things for safety. First off, your safety comes before mine, if you think you're falling off, feel free to o whatever you need to get back on, regardless of your doubts, I'll be fine. On that topic, do not be afraid of hurting me, you won't. Not with this form. Second, as I said before, it will be like riding a horse, it's better to go with the rhythm, however, if we hit a strong current try to flatten yourself against me, and hold on." With that said he smiled at her, then crouched down, hands on the earth and feet tucked under. Though his wings were still spread out, "when you're ready." He said calmly.

Shaye couldn't help but grin, she felt like she was getting safety instructions for going on an airplane. Sighing, she carefully clambered on Vaix's back. She nearly giggled, this was the weirdest thing she had ever done. She had just climbed on her boyfriend, soulmate's back, and was about to fly. She shook her head, she felt like she was in a movie or something.
"Ready" She said, wrapping her arms around his neck, feeling sort of akward. She glanced down, though they hadn't even left the ground yet, she was begining to feel a bit nervous. Oh well, she wanted to do this.

Vaix blinked as Shaye crawled onto his back, he smiled, beating his wings once, to test the strength of her grip. She bounced a bit, but he figured she'd hold on tighter now that she'd gotten a test of how much she needed to hold on. "Alright," he muttered with a soft smile, "you better hold on Shaye, I'm not used to an extra person, so I'll have to run..." With that said he stiffened, trying to keep him back as flat as he could for her as he ran forward wings outstretched like a kite until his felt a lift, to which his wings instinctively beat rapidly, he leapt, then with a small series of more wing beats, was off. After that, everything seemed to calm, his wings for the most part, ceased to beat as the rode the current, beating one or twice to stay up. He looked back at Shaye with a smile. "How's that?" he asked curiously. They were above tree level, but not to high, he wanted to make sure she was okay before he got to high up.

Shaye's arms tightened as she bounced, pressing her body flat against him. A small gasp escaped her as they rose in the air. It was the weirdest feeling she had ever experienced.
"Fine" She said breathlessly, peering over his shoulder and looking down at the tree tops. It was amazing, she had never epxperienced anything like this before in her life. She smiled, pressing her lips against his head, before resuming looking around.

Vaix smiled at her reaction, purring lightly as she kissed the top of his head. His wings beat again, allowing him to rise up higher into a stronger, more stable current. He closed his eyes momentarily at the wind as it pushed past his face. He let his tail flex, it split, revealing a webbed end used as a rudder of steering, to which he turned it and allowed them to circled the house for a second of two, before veering off again in a different direction. He, himself, despite his fear of planes, loved flying, the whole sensation, the noise of the wind in his wings, the leathery clap of his wings with each beat, how effortless it was to soar above the world with only simple movements to keep up above the rest. He sighed contently, eyes soft as he looked at the small trees below, he'd forgotten it was Shaye's first time, so now he was very far up. Making their house look terribly small.

Shaye peered over Vaix's shoulder, eyes growing wide. They were really high, "Err" She murmured, the wind catching her words and making it impossible to talk. She sighed, burying her face between his shoulder blades, trying not to focus on how high they were. She peeked again, inspite of herself, and gasped. The house looked like a toy, it was so small, she could feel the air getting thinner, which didn't bother her, as she didn't need it to breath. She could see the stars above her, but she was to busy focusing on high they were.

To Vaix, it didn't take long for him to notice a change in Shae's body language, her arms had tightened on his neck, and he looked over in a slight confusion, before realizing the issue. He laughed, looking back over at Shaye with a smile. "Would you like to go lower?" he asked her, talking above the winds. He knew she did, but he'd picked a strong current, if he wanted out of it. He'd need to dive, and through he found the whole thing a rush, he figured it might freak Shaye out of ever flying with him again.

"If you can" She admitted, still wide eyed as she stared at the earth below her. Her still intact human instincts were screaming at her that she was going to die, and she was having a hard time convincing herself that she was fine. She peeked again, shaking her head. She didn't know how Vaix could do this, be so high and so calm.

Vaix blinked for a second, then laughed at her response. "I can," he muttered, "but hold on okay?" He glanced over his shoulder at her, she seemed freaked out. Poor girl, he had gone up to high for her, and he felt guilt for it now. putting her through this on her first flight was not a nice thing. Regardless, they would go down. "Hold on," he enforced again, then suddenly, his wings curled in at his sides and he plummeted, letting himself fall with a course of laughter until the last minute where he spread his wings again and beat them up into a small distance from earth. He continued laughing, though everything had calmed now, he loved the rush.

Shaye tightened her hands, and let out a loud gasp as he dove. She screwed her eyes shut, her arms loosing, despite her best efforts, the wind was yanking her off of his back.
"Damn it" She yelped as she was torn from his back, thankfully they were close to the ground, and it was like falling onto a matress. She lay on the ground, eyes wide open, rubbing at her face. She was totally stunned, and just lay on the ground, gasping for air. She wasn't hurt, merely completely stunned.

Vaix's smile faded as he realized something was wrong, his weight. Shaye. Where was Shaye? His eyes bulged as he reached for his back and fell over in midair for a second, then caught himself and spotted her a tiny ways off on the floor. He flew over, landing with a grace at her side, scooping her up in his arms and kissing her cheek lightly. "Oh Shaye," he breathed, his eyes wide in guilt, "I'm so sorry, I should have been more gentle..." He whimpered slightly, laying her back down and checking to see if anything was broken, but she looked fine, besides the shaken mental state.

Shaye took a deep breath and sat up, shaking out her limbs.
"Huh?" She looked at him, not really hearing what he was saying. Her head was sipping, and she was shocked that she was alive.
"I-I should be dead" She said, kicking her legs, her humans instincts, still in tact were screaming this at her, supressing her vampiric ones. She reached down, feeling her side, nothing. She was completely, well, physically fine.

Vaix sighed at her reaction, closing his eyes as he was racked with guilt again and again. Her first flight, and he was so rough with her he kicked her right off him. He scooped her up again, rocking her gently. "My poor Shaye," he whispered gently, kissing her lightly. "You're okay, it was just a start." He stood, carrying her as he made his way back towards home, he didn't notice, but time had sped by during their flight, and he could see the pink in the sky with urged his return to darkness.

Shaye looked sort of stunned, but went limp when he scooped her up. She sighed, resting her head against his shouders, completely stunned still. She should be dead, shouldn't she? Her mind was arguing with itself, and she was confused.
"Just a start?" She asked, confused, closing her eyes, suddenly incredibly exahusted.

Vaix gave a sigh, walking back home with her as she tried to unscramble her mind. "Yes Shaye, a start to flying, I said it so you might not be so afraid of ever flying with me again. I'm sorry, I got carried away..." He kissed her forehead lightly as he walked inside the house just as the beginning rays of day struck the earth. He closed the door, wandering upstairs at a quickened pace to get out of the light, then remembering he'd taken the shirt down off the window, and the window pointed towards the morning, e walked in, feeling incredible heat on his skin as he did. Placing Shaye on the bed, kissing her lightly, then running into the dark closet for shelter.

Shaye slid off the bed, grabbing the black shirt and tackling it up to the window. She sighed, and returned to the bed.
"It's safe, I put the shirt back up" She called, crawling under the blankets. Her mind was racing, making her feel safer flying? She shrugged, it had been fun, well, some of it. She waited for him to emerge from the closet, not to worried if he did or didn't. Perhaps he just wanted to stay in there or something. She didn't really care, she was tired, and she was still convinced she should be dead. She bit her lip, once again moving each of her limbs, making sure that she still could. Relief flooded her, but then she began to get nervous again.

Vaix sighed as Shaye called out she'd blocked the window again, he did want to stay in the closet for a bit longer however, because it was cool and dark, and the thin morning rays of light that had reached him had made him feel terribly over heated. He was pressed up to the wall at the moment, because it too was cool. He heard Shaye ruffling around in the room, giving a gentle sigh he lifted his head to look up. The demon's voice was coming back, because he was alonish. He frowned, the voice was calm, not the high pitched wails of the raging vampire he'd known before. Unfortunately however, what she was saying to him, was anything but relaxing. For the moment, Raven was muttering about it being her turn to take the body, and it was, he just didn't really want to give it up. 'Can't it wait?' his mind asked, 'I freaked Shaye out. The last thing she needs is more drama.' The demon when silent, then growled, I know you can't managed this form much longer Vaix. It's my turn now. You promised me, as I promise you.
'I know,' Vaix muttered back to her. 'It just doesn't seem like a good time now...'
He felt a violent tug on his mind from her. 'Hey! Raven listen to me, it'll hurt Shaye if I leave now...'
Vaix winced and gripped at his head as he felt another violent tug against him, and slowly, he felt himself passing out. 'Raven!' his mind whimpered, he heard his body fall to the floor, then slipped into darkness.

Shaye looked at the closet, confused. She didn't know what to do, sighing, she shrugged, and curled in the blankets. She was still confused, and being alone like this was giving her a lot of time to think. She sighed again, closing her eyes and wondering if Vaix was every going to come out, the room was dark now, dark enough that she was using her 'night' vision to see. Frowning, she lay on her side, one arm wrapped around her, holding herself together absentmindedly. Her heart started to ache, which meant she had either been seperated from Vaix to long or she had heart burn, as a vampire, she was inclined to believe the first one.

Vaix's soul slept, without a body at the moment, so it did not feel the pain of being away from Shaye, nor was it even conscious in the first place. Though, technically, he was still near Shaye, because he was still in the shared body, just unconscious until Raven entered the bridge.
Raven lifted her head slowly off the floor, she felt heavy, weak. The red eyes glanced at the door, it was cool beyond, and Shaye was still in the room. She smiled lightly, slowly rising to her feet, stumbling, then finding balance. She was a feminine looking demon, petite, dainty looking, though she carried some of Vaix's traits, her hair. For instance, was black with the same texture and feel as Vaix's hair. Though it was longer, about an inch past her shoulders. She yawned for a minute, revealing the long fangs of a typical demon, all of the demonic features Vaix had were on her, though they'd shrunk down for her own ease. She was wearing Vaix's clothes, which hung off her like a dress. The only demonic change she had at the moment were her feet, hands, and ears. Her ears were cat-like, jutting up from the top of her head and perked up in a curious way, the distance between her heel and the balls of her feet had increased, and morphed so that she only walked on her tip toe, her hand were elegant and small, though the nails were long and sharp. She was a feline based demon, and, when she felt like it, she could even swap a cat's soul for Vaix's. Though she didn't due it often due to how hard it was on him. They shared the same body, but, if one soul died, the other would die as well, even in a separate body. The curious eyes looked at the door, then, with an elegant grace, she trotted over to the closet door and opened it up. "Shaye?" she cooed gently, so as to not startle her to much. Her voice was soft, more of an angel's tone than a demon's. She had a beauty to match Shaye's if not even best it. Though she stayed in shadow, letting Shaye soak in the difference in their voices.

Shaye's eyes opened, and she rubbed at them, confused.
"Hmm?" She said, shifting and listening, something was different. She turned, looking around, until she saw a familiar, yet strange shape in the corner.
"Uh..." She trailed off, looking more confused. She bit her tounge, suddenly aware of whom she was talking to.
"Raven?" She asked, though she was sure, who else could it be. The scent was slightly familiar, but once again different. She ran her fingers through her thick hair again, wondering what was going on now. She felt a sharp pain in her chest, and she flinched, though she didn't move muce besides that. She didn't know what else to say, to do.
