Kristen took her passport and boarding pass from Demitri. She looked at everything as she followed. Where Demitri tossed his and Keith's bags to a convere belt, Krsiten held her's. It was small enough to be a carry on, which meant less time searching for bags once they go to the airport in Russia.
"Oh joy, security." Kristen muttered. "I'll warn you know, I never get along with them..." she half joked, following them quietly.

She was realived once they were through security, and she was slightly surprised at how fast it went. They still had some extra time before having to board the flight. "Was it me, or was check in extra fast today?" Kristen asked, sitting on a chair with a huff, her thick coat in her arm already.

"Fast" The vampire replied, shaking his head and flopping down at her feet. There was only one seat available next to her, and he was letting Keith have it. He leaned his head on her lap and sighed, closing his eyes and focusing on getting home without any major incidents. He frowned and ran his tounge over his sharp fangs, absentmindedly letting his mind slip to the thought of blood. A small sigh escaped him as he allowed this to happen. His entire posture relaxed, which often happened right before a blood lust took him. He jolted up, snapping his eyes open. "Damn" He growled, rubbing his eyes and mentally kicking himself, he couldn't let that happen, not now.

Keith sighed and greatfully sank into the chair next to Kristen. He watched Demitri, getting a bit anxious as the vampire suddenly relaxed then jolted up.
"You okay?" Keith asked, had he been healthy, he would've let the vampire feed off of him, but right now that wouldn't be good, for either of them.
"Fine" Demitri said, still rubbing at his eyes.

Kristen chuckled lightly as Demitri fell next to her. She ran her fingers through his hair lightly while his head was in her lap. She couldn't help but smile. Sighing, Kristen let her eyes wander about the airport. Unlike most airports at this time of the year, it was somewhat empty. Maybe it was just this terminal. Kristen had seen other airports during the hoilday season. Everyone and their mother's were usually at the airports wanting to go somewhere.

Feeling the vampire relax suddenly drew Kristen's attention away from the people and back to him. Kristen frowned, and then Demitri tensed. "Don't do that again." she murmured, knowing what had just happened. Being with the vampire for the long months during school, Kristen picked up on subtle things Demitri did.

Looking over at a screen that had all the flights, Kristen let her eyes wander. She looked at her boading pass for the flight number before looking back at the screen. Finding the number, Kristen relaxed, seeing that it was on time. She blinked and then it flashed from 'One time' to 'Boarding.'

"I like this airport." Kristen murmured happily. "Things get done. Not like other places where you're waiting an hour and then some. The flight's boarding." She said this right as the announcment was made over the loud speaker. Kristen smirked and patted Demitri on the shoulder for him to stand up and let her out of the chair.

Demitri smiled at Kristen and stood up, shouldering his and Keith's carry on bag. He glanced at the amount of people standing in the line for the flight.
"This is gonna be a packed flight" He grumbled, lacing his fingers with Kristen's and walking over to take their place in the line. He had gotten them first class tickets, which was a good thing, particularly for him. Less people, less crowding, less scent of blood. He sighed and handed the woman his ticket and passport.
"Thank you sir" She murmured, grinning up at him with flirtacious eyes. He sighed and took his ticket and passport back, waiting patiently for the others.

Keith sighed and glanced at Kristen, slowy rising to his feet. He was holding the tube Alayna gave him, and he was anxious to see what was in it. He followed Demitri to the line, but much slower then he normally would have. Sighing he followed Demitri's example, but unlike Demitri, the girl didn't even notice him really, which he was fine with. He sighed, his side was aching, and he was looking forward to sleeping most of the flight to Russia.

Kristen rolled her eyes at the lady, snacthing back her passport and ticket after Keith. By now, one would think she would be used to the amount of attention Demitri got. What with the vampire attractiveness and all. But no. It wasn't exactly jealously, but annoyance. He was holding her hand, how much more obvious could it be?

Pushing her thoughts aside, Kristen took a deep breath before stepping into the airplane. She was glad that Demitri booked them first class; everyone had enough room. Being locked up in a tight space for twelve hours would have been very bad for Kristen. Finding her seat, Kristen tossed her bag into the over-head compartment before falling into her seat with a huff. Now began the long flight there.

Demitri smiled and allowed Kristen to practically drag him to the plane. He knew she wasn't jealous, but the amount of attention he received tended to aggrivate her at times. Sighing he took the window seat next to Kristen. He had booked Keith the seat in front of him, and had also checked ahead to make sure that the seat next to the angel was free. He knew that Keith's injury was bad, as he had been the one fixing it up, and that the angel would need space to stretch out.

Keith greatfully sank into the seat in front of Demitri. He glanced around, noticing that the plane was packed, but the seat next to him was vacant. Good old Demitri had made sure that Keith had space. He shifted in the seat, "Thanks" He mumbled to the vampire, before returning to the position he had been in and closing his eyes. Hopefully he could just sleep the entire flight.

Kristen smiled at Demitri and Keith before clicking the buckle over her waist and leaning the seat back. Now, more than ever, she just wanted to sleep. If she slept, the plane flight would be over sooner, though she already knew she wouldn't be able to sleep for twelve hours. Even if she had been up the previous night.

Kristen clenched and unclenched her fingers, anxiety creeping into her system as more people filed into the plane. After a while, Kristen forced herself back against her chair and she closed her eyes. Taking a few deep breaths, Kristen tried to picture the cabin they'd be staying in. Demitri had shown her a few pictures. Kristen smiled at the picture forming in her mind. Newly fallen snow that covered the ground and the house, steam rolling from the chimeny and-

Someone's luggage bashed against Kristen's chair julting her. Her eyes shot open, tiger green. Kristen had enough sense not to growl at the stupid person right then and there. Shaking her head, Kristen rubbed her face.

Demitri's eyes shot open as someone's luggage banged against Kristen's seat. He hissed, although no human would have been able to hear it. He sighed and wrapped around her protectively, not wanting her to get stressed on the plane. Currently he was hiding how stressed he was, which was really hard. The scent of blood was completely inflitrating the small, pressurized cabin, and he had currently ceased breathing. He frowned, watching Keith through the slit between the seats, so far his friend remained undisturbed, which was a good thing.

Keith sighed and rested his head against the window, slipping iPod headphones in his ears so that he didn't have to listen to all the chatter around him. He let "Second Chance" by Shinedown fill his senses, zoning out as the flight attendants made their final checks.

Kristen tried to smile at Demitri, having heard him hiss. Slowly, her eyes changed back to their normal hazel brown. And just like always, Kristen relaxed when Demitri wrapped an arm around her. She leaned against him gently, resting her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes. Forcing her mouth to stay shut and not protest against the stewardess tedious rounds, Kristen pulled her jacket from the floor. She pulled her arms through the sleeves, not wanting to wear it correctly at the moment.

She felt the airplane doors close, and the pressure shifted in the cabin. Kristen opened her mouth, stretching her jaw as her ears popped. This was going to be intersting; they weren't even in the air yet. Kristen muttered something under her breath as the plane began to move. Letting out a shallow breath, Kristen rubbed her face before leaning against Demitri again. She was doing her best to completely ignore the annoucments the flight crew was now making, like always, just before take off.

Demitri stiffened a bit, not at Kristen, but just at the entire situation. Planes and vampires just didn't mix. He sighed, closing his eyes and concentrating on not breathing, trying to ignore the scent of hundreds of bodies packed into a ridiculously small space. He rested his cheek on Kristen's head, letting her scent sooth him as it often did.
"Love you" The vampire mumbled against her sweet smelling hair and kissing her lightly. He opened his eyes for a minute and glanced around, the plane was speeding down the runway now, making him grip the seat compulsively. Demitri was not an easy or happy flier.

Keith sighed, his head banging once against the window as he fell asleep. The angel sighed n his slseep. He was worried that something was going on with Alayna and it worried him. He didn't understand why no one was telling him anythihg.

"Love you too." Kristen murmured, tensing as she felt the plane tip skywardly. She closed her eyes tightly, trying her best not to press herself anymore against Demitri. She felt the tires lift from the runway, and she could no longer feel the ground beneth the plane.

Kristen sucked in a breath as the back wheels left the ground. Now she could hear the gears moving to fold the landing gear back into the plane. Letting her breath out slowly, Kristen relaxed. They were in the air now, take off was a sucess. It was a good sign for the rest of the flight. "Drug me on the flight back..." Kristen murmured, rubbing her forehead as her ears popped again.

Demitri laughed, but it was stiff. The vampire had no fear of flying, seeing as he was indestructable, it was just the confines. He flicked his tounge over his fangs, cutting his tounge, but needing the blood, even if it was his own. He glanced out the window, focusing on anything but the scent.
"Maybe" He replied, still keeping his arm wrapped protectively around her shoulders. Soon the plane evened out, and the flight crew were able to start preparing the in-flight service.

He glanced at Keith, guessing the angel would sleep almost all the flight. Despite not needing to sleep, Keith had been sleeping a lot lately, mainly in the attempt to fully recover. Demitri sighed, the injury was so bad, a lot worse then they had initially thought, though he and Keith had kept that hidden from the others.

Once the plane had leveled out, Kristen forced herself to listen to the soft rumble of the plane's engines. More times then not, that helped her calm down and sleep. Eventually, with Demitri's arm around her, Kristen passed out. That was when the dream came back to her.

Snow was just starting to fall as Kristen stepped out of a car. She looked up at the massive two story house in front of her, and frowned inwardly. This wasn't her house, or any house she had seen before, yet it felt like home. Turning her head, Kristen was shocked to see Nicko stepping from the drivers side and going around to open the trunk. Kristen realized then she was dreaming, and she wasn't in her body, she was in Alayna's.

Her movements weren't her own though, as Alayna moved to help her brother with her bags. Fear shot through her, feeling the same headache that Alayna was right now. The girl rubbed her forehead before walking along the driveway up to the house. She was nearly at the door when it happened.

Heat and fire launched at her, and the hot air pushed her hard enough to knock her off her feet. Kristen felt the concussion of the explosion, and the pain from the heat and the fire. It didn't burn Alayna though, she was protected by the flames. Though how that was possible Kristen didn't know. Alayna hit the ground hard, and Kristen felt the spliting pain in the back of her own head-

Kristen woke with a sharp breath, and a hand instantly went up to the back of her head. Moment before, she had felt the blood begin to pool around her-Alayna. Heart racing, Kristen sat up and looked around the plane. The plane. They were still in the air. Kristen passed a tongue over her lips and looked over at Demitri. "How long have I been out?" she asked, noticing the dim light that came in from the window.

Demitri was zoned out, well untill the harsh beating of Kristen's heart brought him back. He turned, just in time to see her wake up.
"Uh, about eight hours maybe? We're almost there" He said, just before the pilot came on, announcing that they were now begining their decent into Moscow. Demitri's face broke into a grin, ecstatic to be home. It had been far to long for him, considering he had been such a home body before he had gone to the states. He shifted, moving so that he could see out the window. He wanted to see the snow covered country as they landed.

"Look" He said, his voice breathless with excitement, as he stared, child-like out the window. A small grin crept onto the vampire's face. He felt a familiar warmth bubbling inside him as he saw his home. He sighed, pressing his forhead against the cool window, eyes wide.

"Eight hours?" Kristen muttered, falling back against her seat and holding her head. The dream had happened in all of five minutes. At least that was how it felt. Looking up, Kristen fought back her anxiety and fear. Dreams she had, but ones that vivid scarred her. Kristen rubbed her lips with cold fingers before shaking her head.

Demitri voice broke into her thoughts and she turned to look at him. She hadn't heard the Pilot speaking at all. She pushed Demitri aside ever so gently to look through the window and found herself smiling. "Wow..." she breathed, looking over the snow-covered city below them. For a moment, Kristen forgot her dream and her worries. Vacation had offically started; they were in Russia now.

Kristen sat back slowly, as the plane began to decend slowly. "Welcome home Demitri." she teased, closing her eyes as she rested against the chair.

Demitri gently kicked the back of Keith's chair.
"We're almost here" He told the grumbling angel who was yawning and glaring at the vampire over his shoulder.
"Good to know" Keith grumbled, though he turned to glance out the window. His eyes wided, it really was lovely. "Impressive" He breathed, like Kristen forgetting his worries and fears for a moment while he stared at the massive, white country.

The plane was nearly on the runway, and finally it touched down, speeding towards the gate, before slowing to a near halt.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Moscow Russia, the temperature outside is a warm -25 degrees celcius" The pilot announced, before flicking off the seat belt sign. People leapt up, grabbing bags as quickly as possible and attempt to get off the plane. Demitrn rose quickly securing Kristen, his and Keith's bags so that they could leave as soon as possible.
"Alexi's meeting us at baggage claim" He told them, smiling.

Kristen had tensed again as the plane touched down on the runeway. Those were the two parts she couldn't stand about flights, take offs, and touchdowns. She sighed with relief once the plane came to a stop, and she stood up after Demitri, taking her bag from him.

"Did he say -25?" she asked, pulling her jacket over her thick long sleeve shirt. She zipped it up to her neck, shuddering slightly. The jacket had grown cold during the flight. Walking out of the plane, Kristen yawned at the pressure difference and rubbed her face. She still felt tired, but reasoned that it was probably from the flight itself.

"Your brother's here already?" she asked over her shoulder, walking with the crowd out into the terminal and waiting for the boys to catch up.

"Yea he did. That's fairly warm for Russia, it can get down to -50, but I don't really know much about temperature. Just let me know if you're cold. I packed my extra jacket for you" He said. Demitri grinned, still only wearing his light, cotton t-shirt. Some of the other passangers on the plane looked shocked as they watched the agile creature as he helped Keith up.
"Only minus twenty five" Keith said groaning as he began to walked with the flow of people off of the plane.

"Yea, Alexi's already here. I called and told him what time we'd be arriving so that he could pick us up" Demitri responded, smiling as he followed after Keith. Soon they were inside the airport and following the huge, signs that read, in multiple languages, which way the baggage claim was.

The vampire was bouncing around, odviously overjoyed to be home. He sighed and looked around, admiring the airport, despite the fact that he hated airports, this one held nothing but good memories for him.

Kristen smirked at Demitri's happieness and she yawned again. Her dream came back to her then and Kristen fumbled in her bag quickly for her cell phone. Turning the device on, Kristen flipped it shut and waited for it to reset itself. "I think I'll be alright for now.." She murmured, shaking her head at the vampire.

"As if you don't draw enough attention." Kristen murmured, tugging at the light shirt Demitri was wearing. After a moment, Kristen grew silent, and followed Demitri as they walked to bagage claim. Once her phone was one, Kristen pressed one button, dailing Alayna number. She held the phone close to her ear, as she walked, plastering a carefree expression on her face.

She chewed the inside of her lip as the dial tone continuted to ring in her ear. The girl's phone was on...Why wasn't Alayna answering? "Hey, it's Alayna, leave me a message and I'll try to get back." Kristen cursed, closing her phone and shoving it back into her pocket. She was probably asleep, Kristen reasoned, realizing she hadn't thought about time-zone difference. "There's Alexi." Kristen said suddenly, nodding in the older vampire's direction.

Demitri was already bouncing towards his brother.
"I know" He teased her lightly over his shoulder as the two vampires embraced in a brotherly fashion. Out of all of his brothers, Alexi was by far his favorite. Alexi smiled and nodded his head to Kristen and extended a hand to Keith.
"Hey" He said, his accent much thicker then Demitri's.
So everything okay? I know I talked to you the other day, about Keith and all, but you also mentioned you were meeting with Alayna's brother, and I know you don't get along with him Alexi questioned his brother. Demitri sighed, but grinned. Yea, everything's fine. Keith's still in a lot of pain, so he'll probably just chill this whole vacation, which is fine by me. As for Alayna's brother, I told him what I intended to do if he hurt Keith that way Demitri replied, before nodding his head towards the baggage wheel thingy.
"Come on" He said with a grin as he went to find their bags.

Keith looked from Demitri to Alexi, only understanding the names they were saying. He sighed, and shook Alexi's hand.
"Hey" He said, rolling his eyes in Demitri's direction as the vampire practically ran to the baggage claim. Despite Demitri's age, he was fairly childish at times. He smiled despite his own mood, at least Demitri was happy, and Demitri's happiness was infectious most of the time.

Kristen smiled at Alexi, doing her best to not easedrop. She caught the jist of the conversation; Alexi was just concerned. Kristen looked at Keith as Demitri ran off, shaking her head. "What am I going to do with him?" she asked, letting her hands fall back at her side. Re-adjusting her bag on her shoulder, Kristen smiled despite herself and followed after Demitri.

She tried Alayna's number again as she walked, getting the same result. This time, she left a small message. "Hey, we landed here in Moscow. Just wanted to let you know. Call me back when you get the chance." Kristen spoke queitly, not wanting to draw much attention. After she finished, Kristen closed her phone but kept it in her hand. Walking up to Demitri, Kristen smiled. "Any luck?" she asked. One reason she stuck with a carry on was the fact of having to find your luggage at the end, and sometimes it could be a hassel.

Alexi walked beside Kristen.
"There's nothing you can do, believe me" He said, shaking his head at his youngest brother and letting out a mock, pain filled sigh. Demitri had always been like this, for as long as Alexi had known him, which was his entire vampire life.
Demitri turned, seeing the others and nodded.
"Yupp, got'em right here" He said, holding up his black duffle bag and Keith's grey one. Alexi laughed, ignoring the looks of people around them. Like Demitri, he was only wearing a light cotton t-shirt.

Keith smiled at Demitri, shaking his head.
"Has anyone ever told you how odd you are?" He teased, not bothering to ask for his bag. Demitri wouldn't give it to him, and it's not like Keith could carry it right now. He sighed, already feeling a bit exahusted, physically, again.

"I guess not..." Kristen murmured to Alexi, smiling at the brother. She nodded to Demitri, bouncing in her place. The airport was warm, but for some reason she still felt cold. Even now, her thick coat was just enough to keep her from shaking. She was releived that the vampire had found the bags fast enough.

"Good, let's get going." She said, as the area started to crowd. Another flight must have landed, and people were coming to claim their luggage. "Before I have an anxiety attack." Kristen half murmured sarcastically as her eyes darted around. She didn't do very well in crowds, but so far only Keith knew that. Kristen forced her eyes back on Demitri and she smiled lightly.

Demitri smiled and slipped the straps over his shoulder, nodding at Kristen.
"Want my coat?" He asked, holding out the down jacket towards her. He knew it would keep her warm, which was probably a good thing. He wasn't really sure if she was cold or not, despite the time they had been together, he could still never judge temperature properly.

Keith smiled at Kristen reassuringly. "You okay?" He mouthed, making sure she was fine. He watched as Alexi gestured for them to follow after him, leading the way towards the SUV he had parked outside. Vladimir and Sven were back at the house, not the cabin where they were going, but at the brothers house in Moscow.
"Coming?" Alexi asked, nodding for Demitri to hurry up.

Kristen thought for about half a second before nodding and taking Demitri's jacket. She put her bag on the floor between her feet, and pulled off her white coat. She threw on Demitri's jacket and then her own coat over it. Kristen sighed, pulling her bag back over her shoulder and zipping up Demitri's jacket. "Thanks love." she murmured quietly, smiling weakly.

Taking a deep breath, Kristen gave the same smile to Keith. "I'll be fine once we get out of here." she murmured, following Alexi outside. The cold air hit her face like ice water, and Kristen shivered on impulse. She smiled, seeing the breath she let out as a puff of smoke in front of her. That never ceased to amaze her during the winter time, and she exhaled slowly again, watching it disappear with a light chuckle.
