Kairi stared up at the clock, tapping her pencil lightly on her desk with the tick of the seconds hand. She bit her lip, waiting, impatiently, for the last few seconds of class to be over. All throughout the day, she couldn't get the night club experience out of her head. And now, more than anything, she wanted to hang out with Adrian again. She'd already programed the boys number into her phone, and told her parents she'd be heading to a friends house to study. The bell rang. Kairi pulled her bag onto her shoulder, darting from the class room and down the hallway before the massive crowds washed threw.

Hailing a cab was easier than back home, and Kairi quickly told the driver where to go. He looked at her as if she were crazy and she kicked his seat. "I'm serious. Drive. I'm already late." she said, fishing a few bills from her pocket and tossing them to the front seat. The drive needed no telling twice. She hadn't bothered to cally Adrian, Kairi half wanted to surprise him.

Stepping from the cab, Kairi pulled her bag out and paid the rest of her bill. Tossing her bag onto her shoulder, Kairi pulled her worn jeans back up, and tugged at her white tank top. Smiling, she pulled her hair from her bun, ruffling it gently before turning around. She let out a low whistle, seeing a gate. She frowned, walking up to the intercon and pressing a button. So much for the surprise. "Yo, Adrian, it's Kairi." she said.

Adrian heard the intercom buzz, stupid guard must be on lunch. Sighing he pulled himself off of the couch and headed towards the intercom.
"Come on in, knock on the door when you get inside" He said, hitting the small red button on the advanced intercom. The tall, brown haired teenager ran his fingers through his hair, he was wearing a pair of artfully faded seven jeans and a black, armani polo shirt. He shoved his hands in his pockets, waiting for Kairi to make it to his front door.

Sighing, instead of waiting for her to knock, he pulled the large, double french doors open and leaned against them, watching her walk down the perfectly paved driveway.
"Hey" He called, watching the girl walk toward him, shading his eyes, he saw that, in fact, the guard was on lunch.
"Jerk" He grumbled, he was supposed to take his lunch at lunch time, not three in the afternoon.

Kairi shifted the weight in her bag to her left shoulder, holding her binder on her hip like a small child. She whistled as the gates opened and she followed the drive way to the massive mansion that rested at the end. Kairi held her head as she looked over Adrian's house. "Sheesh..." she muttered, feeling bad for the maids who had to clean up after the family.

"Do they make them any bigger?" Kairi teased, looking around at the french doors and the interio of Adrians house. Her eyes were wide, her face in awe, and her mouth was slightly agap as she walked inside. "Stars and their homes..." Kairi muttered, smiling at Adrian. "Have a relaxing day off?" she asked, shifting the weight of her binder to her other hand.

Adrian moved off of the door frame.
"At least we haven't been on Cribs, they'ved asked, my mom hates the idea though" Adrian responded, teasing her a bit.
"Yea, it was nice. How was school?" He asked, heading back towards the living room, which was massive, with comfortable, yet expensive furniture.
He flopped down casually on the black, leather sofa, gesutring for her to make herself comfortable.
"Do you want anything to eat? I think the cook made brownies or something" He said, grinning at her. He was extremely pleased she had decided to come over, it would be nice to hang out with her again. He wondered if her parents had given her any grief about last night and coming home so late. He shrugged, he supposed it wasn't his business, and she'd tell him if she chose.

Kairi sighed, shaking her head as she looked around the house. "Cribs?" she asked. "That's the one show about the houses right?" Kairi pulled her bag off, placing it on a chair in the living room along with her binder.

"School was exhausting..." Kairi huffed, falling onto a lush cushion couch. "Oh, and I'm offically hated by every girl in the student body..." she muttered ruffling in her bag. She pulled out a newspaper like magazine and tossed it to Adrian. The front cover picture was of them, dancing at the night club, stating that Adrian black had been caught with an unknown girl that night. "I'm happy they didn't find out my name.." she muttered, laying back on the couch, her leggs hanging over the armrest.

"Brownies would be amazing." Kairi said, nodding with a childish smile.

Adrian grabbed the tabloid off of the table and glanced at the picutre.
"Oh damn, sorry. This tends to happen when you hang out around or with me. I'm sorry" He said, smiling apologetically at her.
"Who cares what those girls think. I don't particularly enjoy their company, well except Maddi's and few others. The majority are beyond shallow" He said, shaking his head.

"Brownies it is" He said, sliding off of the couch and heading towards the kitchen. The kitchen was state of the art and they had two chefs that worked their. Sighing he grabbed the plate of brownies and walked back towards Kairi.
"Here we go" He said, putting the plate down on the glass coffee table.

"Yea. I forgot who I was with last night." Kairi muttered, laughing and shaking her head. "I could care less what they say really...I had a great time." Kairi watched him as he left the room and she quickly pulled out her ipod. She pulled on her favorite song, humming until he returned.

"Awesome." she said, sitting up and reaching for a brownine. She took one bite, and her eyes went wide. "Ohmygod. These are the best brownies I've ever had..." she muttered, chewing slowly on the chocolatey cake.

"Well I'm glad you had an awesome time, so did I" He said, flopping back on the couch and snagging a brownie.
"I wouldn't worry to much. So are you coming tomorrow?" He asked, he had spent the better part of the day talking to a party planner, so he had already organized everything. His parents had left that morning, not that they cared if he had a party, they generally encouraged him too, his dad particularly.

He bit into his brownie, enjoying the fact that they were still a bit warm.
"Mmm" He said, nodding his head in agreement.
"What song are you listening to?" He asked, noticing her iPod, she was into music just as muc as he was. He smiled at her, he wondered vaugly if she wanted to see his dad's studio, or even his bedroom. He had a few awesome basses up there.

"Really?" Kairi asked, looking over at him. "Don't you do stuff like that all the time? Go to clubs and party?" She leaned back against the couch, sinking into the soft coushions. She bit into the brownie again, savoring the softness and the warmth it. She finished it off, licking her fingers before reaching for another one.
"Tomorrow? Oh, the party. Yea I'll try." She said smiling. She would just tell her parents she was studying at a friends house, they couldn't say no then.


"Oh. From Now on We are Enemies, by Fall out Boys..." Kairi said as the song changed. "Don't usually listen to them, but I like this song. A little more rockish then their other songs..." she half rambled, resisting the urge to sing along with the music in her ear.

"Yea, I go all the time, but generally the company isn't as fun" He said, smiling rougishly at her. He sighed and finished of the brownie, licking the remaning chocolate from his fingers.
"Ah, I don't really listen to Fall Out Boy that much" He said, shaking his head and grinning. He could see her resisting the urge to sing, and he was sort of desperate to hear her voice.
"Wanna see my dad's studio?" He asked, the huge garage beside the house was actually a recording studio for his dad's band. He sighed and stretched out, letting his muscles relaxe.

"You better come, it'll be awesome" He said, "I had to hire a planner, cause I suck and planning, but it'll be good" He said, grinning at Kairi.

Kairi chuckled. "Gee, I wonder why." she teased, finishing her brownie with a sigh and licking her fingers again.
"I don't either, it's just a really good song.." Kairi said, chuckling nervously. Her eyes went wide and she sat up, looking at Adrian. She couldn't tell if he was joking or not.
"Are you serious?" she asked, stopping her music and drapping her headphones over her shoulders and shoving her ipod into her pocket.

Adrian laughed, "Yea, of course" He said, why would he joke about something about this. He stood up, leaving the plate of brownies on the table, someone else would put them back where they were supposed to go.
"So do you want to?" He asked, nodding towards the front door, indicating the garage and the studio. Half of the garage was for cars, including his family's limo, his mustang, his dad's BMW and his mom's BMW.
"Come on, it'll be awesome" He said, grinning hugely as she shoved her iPod in her pocket.

Kairi smirked. "Alright," she said. "Why not." She stood up, fixing her shirt and pulling her hair back up off her neck. She smiled at Adrian, shaking her head lightly before following him out the to studio.

Adrian grinned and opened the door, walking out towards the large, fancy garage. He pulled open the door and led the way into the medium sized, very professional looking studio. Large pictures of his dad's band hung on the walls, and instruments signed by famous people were placed about the room. He sighed, having spent most of his life in this studio, learning to play bass, and then eventually signing for his dad's latest album. He loved it in here.

Leather couches were against the wall, for people watching, or band meetings.

"Oh my...." Kairi let out an awed breath, looking around at the pictures and the instruments. Her jaw dropped suddenly as her eyes wandered over the rest of the studio. "Dude, talk about working out of the house. This place it amazing!" she exclaimed, turning around in a circle to take everything in at once. The slow spining soon made her dizzy, and Kairi held her head before falling onto one of the couches. She laughed, rubbing her forehead. "Wow..."

Adrian laughed, "Nice" He commented, rolling his eyes teasingly at her.
"So I take it you like it" He teased, "I figured you would appreciate it. It's odvoius you like music" He said, grinning at her and sitting opposite. He glanced around, smiling. He remembered hanging out with his dad and the band here all the time, it had been really nice. It was one the few happier times in his life, there had been no pressure and no drama. Nothing besides the music.

"Music is my Achellies heal..." Kairi mused, rubbing her forehead as she looked around. "This is incredible. If I were your dad, I would never want to leave the office.." she laughed, titlting her head as she looked at Adrian. She frowned slightly at the look on his face. "You ok?" she asked.

Adrian laughed, "Yea fine. Just reminicing I guess" He said, shrugging.
"I spent a lot of time as a kid here, good memories if you know what I mean" He said, stretching a bit.
"Do you want me to show you the rest of the house? Or do you want to just chill out in here?" He teased, he grinned at her. He sort of wanted to show her around, even though he had lived here like his whole life, he still loved his house.

"Oh I see..." Kairi said, nodding in understandment. "Must be nice, staying in one place for your whole life..." she said, standing up to walk around and inspect the signatures on the guitars. "You're house is huge..." Kairi murmured, she turned to look at him over her shoulder. "What if we get lost?" she teased, smirking.

Adrian smiled, "I suppose, we've traveled a lot though, and have like vacation houses all over" He said smiling.
"Yea it's pretty big I guess, don't worry, I only got lost like twice, and that was when I was a kid" He teased, smiling at her. He stood up and stretched, "Come on" He teased, leading the way out of the garage and passed the line of very expensive cars.

"Yea...but you've always came back here..." Kairi said, turning to look at another poster before Adrian left. She lingered a moment, looking around the studio again. It was a dream for her....a ver far-fecthed dream. Sighing, Kairi folded her arms over her chest before walking out to catch up with Adrian.
"So what are we seeing first?" she asked

"Yea I guess" He said, smiling at her.
"Uh, I dunno, I suppose we can just wander" He said, opening the backdoor to the house, which led into the kitchen.
"Actually, I guess it's the kitchen" A cook stood there and grinned at him.
"Anything you want for dinner tonight?" She asked, smiling motherly at the tall, dark haired teen.
"Pizza?" Adrian asked, grinning. "Pizza it is" She said, continuing to bustle about the kitchen.

Kairi chuckled lightly. She followed Adrian silently, smiling at the cook and nodding. Her eyes wandered, and before she knew it she was humming the tune to the last song she had listened to. "She's nice." Kairi said once they walked out of the kicthen, smirking at Adrian. Kairi caved in then, putting a headphone into her ear and turning her music on. It was low enough that she would hear Adrian, but loud enough to hear the lyrics at the same time.
