Welcome to Hills High School

Plot:
Just basic high school, or is it?
This is Hollywood, these kids are the children of Famous Directors, Actors/Actress, Movie producers, Designers, singers, stars, anyone who's anyone. So this is most definately not your average school. Not only are all these teens born into a world of fame, they've grown to expect things average teenagers wouldn't even dream of, but they're also used to living the high life. These teens have been raised together, and are closer then siblings in some sense. So what happens when some 'normal' teenagers transfer to this school?
Not only do these average teenagers suddenly have to deal with being thrust into a world that they odviously don't belong too. They also have to deal with the prejudices of these rich students.


Rules of Hills High School:
-There is room for Eight teenagers
-Keep Genders even. This means FOUR boys and FOUR girls. Two-three must be normal kids
-You must be Semi-lterate and up. Three sentences per-post at a minimum.

Parents: Lana Black (Actress) Demitri Black (Lead singer of an internationally famous band)

Clothing: Generally he favors a pair of artfully faded jeans, with small holes. A pair of black skate shoes, that his mother despises, and a white t-shirt with a black leather jacket on top. Around his neck he a chain with a small silver pendant on it.
Personality: Adrian is upbeat and hyper. He is vain and can be extremely egotistical. He loves to go out and party, and tends to see school as completely pointless. He is more of a night person, and tends to generally be late for everything. He was basically raised by nannies, and rarely ever sees his parents. Due to this, he is extremely spoiled, because his parents believe they can just buy their way into his heart.
Other: He plays bass and sings.

Parents: Father is an extremely well-known menswear designer who's styles have appeared on the runway, mother is a seamstress and appears frequently on talk shows advocating PETA approved fabrics and teaching the world how to sew.
Clothing: Always on the cutting edge - favours darker colours with a pop of the latest hue.
Personality: Slightly on the quiet side, but if something annoys him, the whole world knows. Strangely optimistic, in a pessimistic kind of way. His favourite saying is, "Don't worry about it, in a couple years we'll all be dead of a drug overdose anyway."
Other: Although his father is the head dog when it comes to men's fashion, Kevari (as he goes by) is not unknown himself. Spending his spare time designing, his range is wide and he's done everything from women's ballgowns to infant's formal wear. His favourite is designing for his classmates, however: it gets him the most attention and not to mention a nice wad of cash everytime.

OOC:: Not really, uniforms are a definate no. But most of them have either a ring or a necklace, saying which school they go too. Is it alright if our Charries are friends?

Age: 16

Parents: No one famous. Mom's a nurse, Dad's a collegde professor.
Appearance:
Clothing: (Compeltely different from her outfit in the picture.) Kairi prefers her worn out and tattered blue jeans, verses anything else. Most of the time she wears a tank top, or anyting with short sleeves and a low collar.
Personality: Kairi is a very laid-back and none caring girl. Most of the time, the music blarring in her ears is too loud for her to hear anyone and she's constantly bugging people to repeat themselves. For all that she is laid-back, Kairi is also very stubborn and can be thick-headed at the worst of times.
Other: Loves to sing with a passion, but it cautious about singing in front of people she doesn't know.

It was the first day of school, a glorious day in Hollywood, sun shining, people in classy convertiables driving by. A silver mustang GT, pulled into the student parking lot of the fabulous and exclusive Hills High. The student body of this school was the cream of the crop. They were all destined to be famous, it wasn't an option to not attend this school if you were the son or daughter of a famous celebrity. A tall, dark haired boy stepped out of the car, his designer sunglasses glinting in the bright sun. He ran a finger through his casual, yet odviously professionaly done hair. He walked across the campus, his ratty back pack slung over his shoulder. He waved greetings to a few of his friends, a small sigh escaping him. To most kids, this school was a dream to attend, for him, it was just everyday life.

Walking inside, he headed towards a familiar locker, depositing his bag inside. Yawning, Adrian Black, son of Actress Lana Black and Rock Star Demitri Black, locked his locker. It was strange, seeing the boy at school, and this early. He normally blew off his morning classes, opting to sleep in, but this was the first day of senior year, and he didn't want to get off on a bad foot. He leaned against his locker, a small sigh escaping him as he slipped his iPod touches head phones in his ear, trying to drown out the giggle of the younger classman. Adrian was one of the most popular boys at Hills, and something of a legend among the younger kids.

Kevari: young, sweet, and beautiful. Alright, perhaps sweet wasn't the most accurate term for his temper, but it definitely did justice to his tastes. Absently flicking the dark hair out of his eyes, he shifted the leather suitcase against his back, settling it across his broad shoulder and Nivari jacket. One of his own designs of course: he wouldn't be caught dead wearing one of his father's. Briskly skipping up the grande steps from the limo, he nearly tripped hearing his name from the grounds below. Give a half-smirk in response, he hurried into the hallway. The box wrapped in shiny silver paper was starting to get heavy, and he wanted to make sure there was no unsightly creases when he delivered it to it's recipient.
Polished pointed shoes scuffing against the school's impeccable floors, Kevari peeked his head around the mostly empty corridor's looking for his classmate Black. Although these hallways were passable now, soon they would be filled with students going class to class at The Hills. Finally reaching the locker hallway, Kevari smartly stepped down it with a big grin on his face, his sparkling eyes hidden by his hair.
Seeing Black leaned over to grab something from the bottom of his locker, Kevari placed his fashionable foot straight in the middle of Black's rump and gave a gentle, calculated shove. Holding out the present, his grin got bigger.
"Got you a little something. S'bout time you got rid of those shoes if we're going out on the scene tonight. Been to the new club on Smoke Ave?"

Adrian was proplelled forward, and gasped in suprise. Whipping around, a small smile over his face as he saw one of his closet friends, and neighbour Kevari.
"You reject" He grumbled, pulling his iPod headphones from his ears and rolling his eyes.
"Dude you're as bad as my mom" He grumbled, accepting the box. Everyone hated his DC skate shoes, but he loved them. He pulled the impeccably wrapped present apart, revealing the stylish shoes in the box. He rolled his eyes and brushed his black hair from his eyes, smiling at his friends.
"Thank you" He said, sliding the box into the top of his locker and grinning.
"No I haven't, is that where we're headed tonight?" He asked, he had spent most of the summer in Europe, partying and spending way to much money, which was pretty typical of his 'kind'. He glanced around, making a face at the cluster of younger girls staring at him and Kevari.

Kairi placed her headphones in, turning the volume up on her small nano and changing the song a few times before finding one with a good beat. She walked along the sidewalk towards her new high school, shoulder bag over her left shoulder, and a slightly empty binder in her arm.

Mouthing the words to the song, Kairi headed into the building, the buzz of a dozen talking students not even a hum in her ears. All she heard was the bass of the music. She looked around, attempting to find her locker number. She noticed two boys standing close to it and sighed. They looked pretty well dressed, and Kairi looked down at herself.

This morning she had tossed on her lucky jeans which had holes in each knee and frayed at the bottom, a baby blue tank top, and a white shirt that she had torn the collar off. After a moment's calucation, Kairi shrugged and ran her fingers through her hair. Practically singing the song lightly now, Kairi walked over to her locker, rolling the combination easily and tossing a few things inside from her shoulder bag.

"Reject?" Mock offendedly, he stuck his nose in the air as if smelling somethind distasteful. "Well your mom's wearing my dad's clothes, so where does that put us?" Kevari winked rogueishly and then turned to the girls, opening his eyes an innocent matter. In a dramatic and drawled out fashion, he replied loudly, "I don't know, maybe we should go to THE VOGUE instead tonight. Oh yes, that's where we're going." Leaning over and pretending to grab something from Black's locker, he whispered. "Klymenestra's where were heading," he said as he pulled back, "and you'd better wear those shoes or I'm gunna throttle you, oh Captain of Rejects." Brushing invisible lint of his jacket, he sighed. "Which class is first? Or are they restarting that ridiculous 'home room' option this year? Fnh, doesn't make any sense and it's such a waste. If I wanted to screw around and do nothing I'd rather not do it hear. How was Europe? Japan was so-so, way too much fish there."
To anyone else, Kevari's harsh words about the school might have been offensive. But Black knew by now his friend was all bluff: this school was more of a home than his own had ever been.
Not letting Black reply, Kevari turned to see a girl putting in her combo a few lockers over. "New cleaning help much? So much for a dress code. That's even worse than your shoes Black."

Adrian laughed and slung his arm over his friend's shoulder. The two had practically been raised together, same nannies, same school, same everything.
"Good point" He sighed and nodded, his head, letting his friend, as usual, dictate the plans for the evening.
"No idea, I was actually thinking of blowing off the morning and going to grab coffee or something" Adrian said with a rougish grin, "Europe was good, hott girls, and I don't even remember Paris" He said winking. He turned, glancing at the new girl, arching his eyebrow.
"That is worse then my shoes. At least they're designer" He said, his voice taking on a snobbish edge.
"They don't give the help lockers in Senior Hall" He commented, his tone still changed. Each grade had their own hallway, for hangouts and lockers. The one they were currently in would be their home for the next year. It was the hall every student dreamed about having a locker in. Senior hall, only seniors, or those cool enough to befriend them were allowed here.

Kairi hummed quietly to herself, her head bobbing with the beat of a new song. She whispered the lyrcis quietly as she fixed up her locker a bit better. She nodded with slight satisfaction before closing the door. She raised an eyebrow at the two boys. Why were they looking at her like that?

Pulling a headphone from one of her ears, she looked the two over again. "Uh, can I help you two?" she asked, laughing quietly. Both of them looked as if they were going to a wedding or something, not a highschool.

Under his breathe, Kevari muttered good naturedly. "Unfortunately what goes to Paris doesn't stay there. Speaking of Paris, that girl looks cheaper than Hilton's latest scandal." Turning to the girl previously oblivious in her music, he nudged her scruffy shoes gently with the pointy end of his own. "Are you lost darling? The door is that way, and the laundry room is that way."

Adrian bit back a laugh, his friend could be incredibly cruel, but at the same time, he really didn't mind.
He arched a perfect eyebrow at the girl.
"Hilton's latest scandle involved her dumping her wine all over my mother at some awards thing" Adrian said, rolling his eyes. His mother had been outraged, which was perfectly fine by him, Paris was breaking all the unwritten rules of being one of them. You could do whatever you want as long as you didn't create a scandle or get arrested.
"My mother was screaming mad, not that I blame her" He said, ignoring the girl now. She was odviously lost, or in the wrong school. "She must be from the valley" He said, smiling rougishly again.

Kairi turned off her music, pulling the headphones around her neck. "I'm sorry. Couldn't exactly hear you there." she said coldly. She took a step back as the boy stepped on her shoes and leaned against her locker. Amber brown eyes were sharp now as she looked Kevari with a harsh gaze. He looked somewhat familiar to her, but she couldn't put a name to the boy. Her eyes darted over his shoulder to his friend, getting the same results.

Kairi sighed. She had been warned about this school. It was said to be for the best of the best, and with Kairi being ahead a complete grade, her father had pushed her here. Maybe if he read a teen magazine once in a while, instead of old text books, he'd understand her current frustration. "No, actually..." Kairi said, her eastside accent coming out on her last word as she looked over at Adrian. "Just moved here, from NYC..." she smirked, turning her sharp gaze back on Kevari.

"NYC, hm? Well things are a little different here, darling." Plucking at the ripped remains of her collar, he turned away. "A little crisper," he threw over is shoulder, dragging Black with him by the elbow. Walking away, he snuffed in distaste. "Ugh. She puts the 'stile' in 'hostile'. So, homeroom or classes? Sorry 'bout your mom. Hope she wasn't wearing that little red Guivarni number, those were one-of-a-kind and the hemming was gawdawful to do."
