Shaye ignored Michelle completely, she had mastered the art of the girl 'snub'
She started the car and took off down the drive way, completely ignoring Michelle still.
"So New York, I've never been here" She said as they drove out of the neighbourhood, admiring the lovely houses.
"Wow, this place is so pretty" She said softly.

Vaix gave a soft nod at her comment, looking at all the houses they passed. Then laughing softly, "ours is best though." He kissed her cheek affectionately as she drove, then stared out the window as he always did, enjoying the drive.

Shaye smiled and turned onto the a road that had a sign pointing towards down town.
"True, but it's still a nice neighbourhood" She said with a grin. She glanced around, noticing a group of rather fashionable teens crossing the street. She watched them, "Wow, fancy much" She said, grinning at Vaix, this was her sort of scene.

vaix laughed and nodded in agreement, "high class." He smiled, then shook his head, "we better suit up too, or we'll start being classified as street trash." He chuckled, doubting a vampire could ever be classified so low to a human, even if they were dressed in rags, their 'spell' had them admired by everyone.

"Excuse me? Speak for yourself" Shaye teased, rolling her eyes. She was an extremely classy dresser, at least in her opinion. She pulled up to a large mall, her eyes shining.
"Awesome" She said, grinning at Vaix as she slid effortlessly from the car. She was aware of heads turning as she stepped out of the mustang.

Vaix laughed at her responding comment, "my apologies Shaye." He answered with a grin. Then slid from the car as well, laying an arm over her shoulders imediately as she was eyed up by the boys around her. He sighed, rolling his eyes, then made his way towards the large building that held all their clothing needs. "Any idea what you're looking for clothing wise?" he asked curiously.

Shaye leaned against him as she walked.
"Hm, well jeans, and definately some new shirts" She said with a shrug.
"You need jeans as well. Yours smell awful from the smoke" She said, she had had to throw away a few of his clothes. She glanced at the boys gaping at her and rolled her eyes.
"Humans" She teased.

Vaix chuckled at her last comment, "I know you enjoy their attention Shaye." He kissed her cheek playfully, then walked along. "So new jeans, huh?" He sighed, shopping wasn't his idea of the most exciting thing to do, but like most things, it just had to be done. "Any idea which stotre you'd like to hit first?" he asked as they roamed the wide mall insides.

Shaye laughed, "You're just jealous of all the attention I get" She teased, smiling as the entered the mall.
"I have no idea, do you want to just wander?" She asked, glancing around. "Oh wait, there's a boutique" She said, smiling as she saw her favorite brand of jeans displayed in the window.
"Let's try here" She said, grinning. She spun, her hair fanning out prettily behind her. "I think we have an audience" She commented, seeing a group of teenagers following behind them.

Vaix sighed as she took off at the store, then glanced behind him at the group of teens following them. "As long as the audience stays off the stage," he muttered under his breath as he followed after her calmly, not really sharing her energy for shopping.

Shaye immediately found a pair of jeans in her size and style and slipped into the change room, with a cheery 'be right back'. Sliding into them, she stepped out of the change room.
"What do you think?" She asked, admiring her appearance in the mirror. She liked how they made her legs look longer, without actually having to shift to make them so.

Vaix obseved the jeans as she walked out. He smiled, not really sure what to say. They were jeans, regular jeans, and they looked nice on her, but everything in his opinion did, dresses only managing to get an extra step up in his opinions. He shrugged, "It's good. Nice on you." He smiled reasurringly at her as he said so, knowing how picky girls were over such things.

Shaye chewed her lip.
"Yea, I like them too. I think I'll get them" She disappeared into the change room, emerging a moment later wearing her old jeans with the new ones folded over her arm. She continured to casually browse through the wracks, looking for shirts or even dresses.

Vaix gave her a nod, following her around closely as she browsed racks of clothes. Then pausing, and wandering off to the guys half of the store, finding his size, and just grabbing some random jeans he liked. then wandering off to try them on to make sure they did fit properly. Most did, some didn't, he managed to walk out with four pairs of new jeans he'd get. Then followed Shaye around again.

Shaye pulled a small, black dress from the rack. She smiled and held it up against herself, "I'm gonna go try this on" She said, handing Vaix her jeans and disappearing into the change room again. She slipped the dress on, loving how it hugged her body, she grinned, a plan forming in her mind. Carefully she slipped it off and emerged.'
"Yea, it's nice, I think I'll get this as well" She said nonchalantly, careful not to really show him the dress. She'd wear it tomorrow, and wanted him to get the full impact.

Vaix blinked as Shaye came out looking the same as when she went in, he felt a ting of dissapointment. But didn't object, He held all her stuff rather casually, not minding doing so at all. "You done with this store? Or would you like to look some more?" he asked curiously.

"I'm done with the store" She said, grinning as she noticed his slightly disappointed look.
She walked up to the counter and quickly paid for the dress, careful, once again, to make sure Vaix couldn't see it.
"Come on, I have a suprise for you tomorrow, look happy" She teased, the dress safely clutched in the bag, she had paid for the jeans and stuff as well, so they were free to go.

"Sure sure," Vaix replied, pulling a smile to his face, he was curious at the mention of a surprise, but didn't pester her. He scooped up her hand as she paid for their things and came back to him, then made his way out of the store with her, looking at thegroup that was following them shyly, then looking at surrounding stores. There was a chocolate shop, which he would hav considered for Shaye before she was turned into a vampire. But now however, he knew she'd hate the taste, or like it. He wouldn't know, but he did know if she ate a bars worth it would end up all over the floor, and he didn't feel like doing such a thing to her.

Shaye smiled and let him take her hand.
"Is there anywhere you want to go? Or are you just gonna let me drag you around?" She asked, pausing to glance into a store window, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"Hey, did you just move here?" A guy's voice called from the group behind them. Shaye spun around, "Yea, why?" She asked, a small grin on her face.
"Oh, well we saw you guys arrive last night. You have that house up on 23rd ST right?"
"Yea" Shaye replied, smiling. "Oh cool, well welcome to the neighbourhood" The boy said with a fliratsious wink.

Vaix glanced over at the guy as he spoke. Then sighed and wrapped his arm around Shaye's shoulders tightly. "Forgive me for being rude," Vaix muttered calmly, "but who are you?" He wasn't exactly friendly to someone whom knew where they lived and when they got there, and didn't even introduce himself first. He forced a semi friendly smile to his face though, to not intimidate the guy.

"Oh, I'm Jon, your new neighbour" The boy said, glaring at Vaix for inturrupting his conversation with the beautiful girl.
"And you are?" He asked, arching a tart eyebrow.
"Shaye" Shaye responded, blissfully unaware of whatever was going on.

Vaix stared at Jon in a slight amusment at the glare, but didn't respond. He let them talk, seeing as how that was what seemed to put their new naughbour at ease. Introductions were good, proper. He just hopped Jon wouldn't be a future problem if he kept interest in thinking he had a chance with Shaye.

"So what do you think of the neighbourhood?" Jon asked, speaking specifically to Shaye.
"Oh, it's so pretty" She grinned, flipping her hair over her shoulder. She smiled at him, but leaned against Vaix.
"Oh cool. Well we'll have to hang out sometime Shaye" Jon said, waving and disappearing with his friends. Shaye shrugged non-commitinatly and turned her attention back to Vaix.
"Rich kids" She teased, knowing that their family was far poor, and probably beyond rich, but she always found kids like that irritating.

Vaix chuckled, "yeah, he's got a real personality that one." He kissed her forehead, then lead her along calmly, in the opposite direction of Jon. His arm was still wrapped calmly over her shoulders, and he continued to glance at stores they passed by.

Shaye laughed. "Yea" She said laughing softly. She slipped her hands in her pockets and glanced around. She saw a make up store and paused.
"Hey, I just wanna peek in here" She said smiling hopefully at him. She slipped inside and made her way over to her favorite stuff, pouring over it with an expert eye. A group of guys were walking by, and one brave one paused.
"Hey, you don't need that junk babe, you're gorgeous" He called, grinning at Shaye, who glanced up, completely suprised.
