Blood Lust

Selena was asleep, but she wasn't muttering anything. She wasn't really having a dream either.

Once Alex had left the room, the door to the CoUPT opened slowly, and a small red orb floated from the CoUPT. It flew after Alex, and then flew straight for Sire. Sire fell off of Alex's shoulder as soon as the orb pierced his back.

Selena was in a deep sleep again. The muttering returned, and so did the strange dream. Seeing in the dream was like trying to see through murky water.

alex turned to look at Sire. 'Are you ok?", Alex ask,ed, concerned. Sire groaned. "I feel really sick...", Sire said, feeling truly awful.

Selena moved her hand and accidentaly hit herself in the face while she slept. She opened her eyes for a second before closing them again and falling back asleep.

Slowly, a blue orb, a red orb, and a black orb floated from the CoUPT, and the green orb floated, almost invisiblly, from Sire.(Plague, Pestilence, Carnage, and death.)

Selena muttered something in her sleep.

The four orbs slowly floated towards Selena.

Selena was asleep still as she stopped speaking.

Skye began her journey back to the house. She was determined to kill Selena.

tHe four orbs sensed somebody as evil as them, and went to find her. When they encountered Skye, they began whispering to her. "We are the four curses.", the red one said. "Plague, Pestilence, Carnage, and death.", the green one said. "We can sense how evil you are.", the blue one stated. "And we wish to help you in your misdeeds.", the black one completed, and they all took the shape of very powerful looking demons.

Selena woke with a start. Something from her dream had told her to wake up then. She looked around the room. The closet is open?... "A-Alex..." She called out quietly, afraid.

Skye smiled evily. "We shall be great friends, I can sense it already." She said. Her demon walked up slowly behind her and laid down at her feet. "This is Shadow." She added. "And I am Skye."

THe green demon smiled. "I'm Plague.", he said. 'I'm Pestilence.", the blue one said. "Carnage.", piped the red one. "And death.", said the demon that was not only black, but also had a face and left arm of skeletal white.

Alex rushed into the room, cradling the sick Sire in his arms. He rushed over and clsoed the closet door.

Selena saw Alex cradling Sire. She jumped up. "What happened to him, Alex!?..." She walked closer and looked directly at Sire. "Are you ok, Sire?... What's wrong?" She asked, softly.

Skye smiled and bowed her head in response to each of them. "An honor to meet you." She said. As she spoke the words, she couldn't believe what she was saying. Many years ago, when she was human, she would not have been caught saying something like that. When did I change? She thought to herself. When did I lose myself?

"I don't know what happened to Sire. One minute, he's sitting on my shoulder, and the next minute, he falls off of my shoulder, moaning! I hope he's not too sick...", Alex said. Sire groaned and coughed.


THe 4 demons smiled. "Now, what shall we do frist? Shall we murder, kidnap, or destroy?"

Skye looked at them and smiled. She was still thinking though. "I have a special mission." She said

"Interseting. What is it?", death said, smiling.

Selena stared at Sire, worry shown on her face.

Skye was thinking about when she lost herself, so to speak. "We kidnap the girl, Selena. She's with that vampire Alex." She said.

Death laughed. "I think that would be your job, pestilence.", he said, smiling. Pestilence smirked.

Sire coughed again.

Selena looked at Alex. "Is there anything I can do to help him?" She asked.

Skye smiled. She was still deep in thought about when she lost herself, when she changed from the person she used to be. Before she had been mostly a good girl. Now she understood why she wanted Selena gone so bad, Selena reminded her of how she used to be. And the person she used to be, was gone.

A small, almost tiny quartet of orbs floated from the CoUPT- One white, one grey, one brown ,and one yellow. THe yellow one flaoted over to Sire and went through him, instantly curing him.

Skye had mixed feelings now. She was questioning herself and her life. She even questioned her existance. She looked up at the sky above. If she were still human to this day, would she be where she was now? Would I be who I am?... How did I lose myself? She thought.

Carnage began to growl. "When do I get to eat the girl?", he whispered in Death's ear.

Selena looked at Sire. Had she been seeing things or was some sort of light absorbed into Sire's body?

Skye overheard Carnage. She acted like she hadn't though.

The yelow orb floated from Sire's body and joined the other three.


Death knew that skye had overheard. 'He's talking about selena, not you.'

Selena blinked. Am I seeing things? She thought to herself.

Skye looked at them and nodded. "Good... because I'm stronger than I look."
