Death Row

Plot:
Four teens, found guilty of crimes they did not commit find themselves in Death Row. A hallway of cells, all of criminals who have done evil beyond even the wildest imagination. In dank, wet, small cells the condemned teens sit, thinking about their lives, and how soon they will end. Out of the darkness comes a beautiful, yet terrifying voice.
"Hello children" It whispers in your ear, "I have come to rescue you" As the voice breathes the last word, a clanking noise emits from your cell door, as it creakily swings open. In the dimly lit halls stands a tall, pale, cloaked figure.
"I have released you, but now you owe me a favour. One day I will come for you, and when I do, you must drop everything you have, everything you are doing, and come with me"
With this closing statement, the figure disappears.

Four years later, you have a life, a family, or are going to school. Everything is fantastic, until, late one evening you hear a familiar voice.
"I have come, now pay your debt, and come with me"
You follow, and find yourself involved in a war so deep, that all of mankind is threatened.

Age: Unknown, he appears to be about 21 in appearance.

Appearance: His fangs are only visible when he wishes them to be, and are otherwise hidden. He has a small scar on his upper, left cheek bone, and a long one on his right shoulder that cuts diagonally across his chest, ending on his left hip.
Personality: He has a very commanding 'air' about him. He is extremely intelligent, and tends to be (at times) condescending. He can be extremely dangerous when angered, but is otherwise calm, and cool. He has a small circle of 'trust' and keeps his friends very close to him. It takes him a long time to trust anyone, but once he does, he is extremely loyal and protective.
Other: He is a coven leader during the 'vampire wars' (These shall be explained in the RP)

Personality: Mikka is extremely quiet to those she does not know and espically to those she does not trust. This is often misinterpretted as her being cold, or shy. However she is not nor is she afraid to speak her mind. If there is something she does not agree with, Mikka will make herself heard. She is extremely intelligent, and in her silence takes in more details and understands more than most, and this she uses to her advantage.
Other: She enjoys reading, and is usually never without a book.

Personality: He is ambitious and hard-working, and he wants to be appreciated for it. He's highly social and enjoys the company of others. Things come easy to him, so sometimes he expects others to keep up at the same pace as him, even if they don't need to. He's quite the people-pleaser, sometimes to a fault. He is very down to earth, practical, and has a very high energy expenditure.
Crime: He was accused of commiting the crime of murdering his two sisters, one was older and one was younger. He knew it had been his uncle, but the court wouldn't believe him.

Other: He's from Chester, England.

OOC: Awesome movie. We can start now. We're starting just before my character (Demitri) shows up the second time. So the humans aren't in jail, but they're lives are finally back on track.
Intro will be up in a few minutes.

Demitri sat in a highbacked chair, lounging, one leg swung over the arm rest, a small frown on his face. He shook his head, staring boredly out over the nearly deserted room. A few of his coven, vampires he knew, but not well, hung around, waiting for well, hell, he didn't care. He bit his lip absentmindedly, wondering if his little plan was going to work out. He sighed, the vampire covens were at war with one another, and the war was getting a bit out of control. Not that Demitri cared, he was confident he would win, not to mention that human he had saved about, four years ago owed him a bit of a favor. He smirked, standing up, everyone stared, he was known for his fits of temper, not that he was really in one, he just liked the attention, the scent of fear was thick in the air, just how he liked his home to be.

Glancing around, he pushed past a small group of vampires, hudded in a corner, laughing to himself at the nervousness they displayed. He shook his head, glancing around, where was his second in command? They had to go soon, very soon, he frowned. His home was a large, delapilated mansion, vampires, his vampires, inhabited almost everyroom, though the entire upper level belonged to him. He sighed, growling in annoyance and smirking as everyone in the vicinity disappeared back to their own quarters or to go hunting. He had to collect a human tonight, and bring said human back here, which would prove amusing. He walked towards the library, guessing, well educatedly, that Mikka would be there. She loved books, something he couldn't understand, but she did.

Pushing the door open, he looked inside, "Hello?" His dangerously smooth voice echoed into the darkness. His house didn't have lights, vampires didn't need them, and he tended to break them. He glanced around, trying to spot the female vampire hidden amongst the stacks of books.

Mikka rubbed her eyes gently as she closed the book in her lap. She had been reading for a few hours straight to finish the book, and now the world and information within the leather binding was swimming around in her head. She would need the rest of the day to sort out things and put them in their proper places. For now, she'd return the book to the library. Maybe pull out another book, one with more fiction, less important information that she wouldn't have to worry about.

Leaving her hair to fall in long straight black strands to her waist, Mikka stood up gracefully from her windowsill and walked across the room. She pulled a light shawl over her shoulders, a well-worn habbit that she hadn't been able to kick from days past, just like her choice of clothing. She wore a cotton brown skirt that flowed down to her ankels and a long-sleeved white blouse. Slidding her feet into a pair of chinese slippers, Mikka left her room.

She walked swiftly down the hally and stairs from her room to the library, clutching the book to her chest. She hardly noticed the other vampires of the coven returning to their rooms, or as they nodded in greeting, too caught up in her own thoughts at the moment. Pushing the door open to the library, Mikka glanced up with dark brown eyes, a bit shocked to find Demitri standing before her.
"Oh." she said quietly, dropping her gaze in respect before stepping around him. "Were you looking for me?" she asked curiously as she walked past aisles and aisles of bookshelfs to replace the large volume in her hands.

Demitri jumped a little in suprise as he finally found Mikka. He had been wrong, she hadn't been in the library, well, now she was in the library. He tagged along behind her, watching her curiously.
"Yea, I was" He murmured, "You said you'd come help me do this human thing. You know, collect him, for the war, ringing any bells?" He grumbled, Mikka tended to get really caught up in her books, and she tended to forget a few things, and he was constantly having to remind her.

However, that didn't mean that she wasn't worthy of being his second in command of his coven. She was one of his oldest friends, though since he was leader, in public she did show him a lot of respect.
"You coming?" He asked, he did really need her help, but if she didn't want to come, he could always go grab some of the lesser memebers of his coven and make them come.

He shook his head, flopping into one of the other stuffed chairs. He glanced at her, wincing at the puff of dust that emitted from the chair.
"Urgh, we need someone to clean this place" He hissed in annoyance. He was sure he could get someone to tidy up, it was just a matter of persuasion.

Mikka reached up to push a few books to the side as to replace the one she had taken back to it's proper spot on the shelf. She let her eyes trail along the shelves, just glancing to see if anything else would catch her eye. The library was staked with books, and Mikka had read through a good number of them already. She blinked and nodded, somewhat distantly to Demitri.

"Yes.." she murmured, walking around to another aisle as he went to sit down. "Those troublesome humans you saved...amazing what children will agree to when faced with certain death." she mused, gathering the folds of her skirt in her hand as she stepped up on a stool to reach a higher shelf. She pulled down an old favorite of her's; Homer's Odyssey. This would be mind numbing enough for the next few days it would take her to read through it again.

Stepping down, Mikka glanced back at Demitri, brushing her bangs from her eyes. "I said I would, and so I shall." she said, smiling lightly and nodding. She stared at him for a moment before dropping her hands behind her back, holding the book gently.
"Are things becoming so serious now?" she asked quietly, a small frown of confusion coming to her face. She hardly ever questioned Demitri seriously, knowing he grew annoyed with the curious younger members for doing so, but more times then not he answered hers since they were so rare and few.

Demitri sighed, glancing at Mikka, slightly taken by the question.
"Hm? Ah, well they're becoming more tense" He admitted, frowning, he looked at her, "Actually, it's quite bad" He said, he knew he could trust Maria. She didn't bother him with many questions, and she was just as commited and involved to this war as he was. He sighed, rubbing a hand through his hair, shaking his head.
"We need this human, we need a representitive from their world, to see what could potentially happen if this war get's to out of control" He sighed, the entire human world was at stake, their were six vampire clans, Demitri was the head of one, and the other five were ruled by other vampires. Four of the clans were united in destroying the human race, wanting to, apparently rule the world, the other two, his, and his friend Michale's, were united in stopping that from happening.

The clans consisted of three covens of fifty to seventy vampires each. Not every vampire in the world was in a clan, but it was the safest place to be. It took years to rise in the rank of the clan, Demitri hadn't done that. He had been named as the heir of the clan, and he had been ruling this specific clan for nearly four hundred years. He knew he'd be ruling for a long time to come, it was very rare for another vampire to try and take control.

"Michale had an altercation with Cole's coven the other night" He murmured, "He called me last night, it sounds like the attacks are getting more and more frequesnt" He told Mikka, she was good at this sort of thing, planning, plotting.

Mikka nodded as she listened intently. Her eyes sharpened as her mind began to race, pushing away the things from the book she'd bee reading earlier and the eagerness to dive into the familiar world behind her back.
She tensed a bit, hearing about Michale's clan and their issues. "Cole needs to remember his place." Mikka hissed, shaking her head and pulling the shawl around her shoulders tightly. "He's been nothing but arrogant and overly-confident since this whole complication began. I doubt he even understands the serverity of his actions."

Mikka sighed then to compose herself. Opening her eyes again, the sharpness was gone, and the color was back to her usual soft dark brown. She gave Demitri and apologetic smile, clutching the book to her chest again as she looked back at him.
"I assume we'll head out tonight then?" Mikka asked, her voice smooth and no longer sharp and angry as before.

OOC: We should wait for Movie now =] She can just jump in and post, none of our previous posts really affect her character.
