"Just because everyone says so doesn't mean you should believe them love." Mari said, shaking her head gently.
Maria took his hands from his head then, holding his wrists against the bed, grinning. She titled her head gently, frowning for a moment, the play back once more.
"I'm actually still debating..." Maria said, her brows knotting in her frown. "I could kiss you..." she said, letting a look of optimisim appear on her face for a moment. Then she shook her head, dismissing the idea. "Nah, I think you'd enjoy that too much..." Maria smirked, looking back at him then.
"I could let you go..." Maria said, frowning again. "But what fun is there in that?" she asked, sighing dramatically. "It's a real dilema. I have no idea what to do with you right now..."

Alexi whined, it was true, he did enjoy being kissed. He listened to her, rolling his eyes.
"Ha, you could let me go, then you risk being caught yourself however" He murmured, grinning at her cheekily. He stretched out, though, for the most part, she held him pinned. He whined again, though it was hard to keep the grin off of his face.

Maria rolled her eyes as if getting caught by Alexi wasn't the worst thing on the planet. "I could get out of any of your traps easy." she teased, sticking her tongue out gently. This was how it had been all day. The two of them going back and forth, back and forth. Not that Maria minded, it was amusing. Espically since Alexi could keep up with her.
"Oh stop your whining." Maria murmured, leaning down to kiss him anyway.

Aleix beamed, "I win" He murmured, smiling as she kissed him, acting as if that's all he wanted. He grinned and slipped his hands out from behind his head, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her down for another one. He loved the playful banter with Maria, it was refreshing. He laughed and nipped at her lips playfully, before scrambing to get away, as she hated when he did this.

"Just. This. Once." Maria whispered, tapping his nose with each word, as if to emphasize her point. She laughed quietly at the grin that was on his face. He looked happier than a kid in a candy shop. Which Maria was glad for; he deserved to be happy, and she was more that proud to oblidge. Times had been stressful, and Maria shuddered at the thought of having only been here a little over a week.

She wasn't caught completely off gaurd as Alexi's arms came around her, pulling her to him. Maria laughed quietly, letting her fingers twine into his hair softly. She growled as Alexi bit her-again. God how many times had he done that now? Maria had lost track. She fell off of him as he scrambled to escape her wraith and she quickly found a pillow, throwing it at him as hard as she could.
"Impossible! That's what you are!" Maria said, shaking her head and folding her arms over her chest with a 'hmp'. "Absouletly impossible!!!"

Alexi let out a small whine, and dove under the bed as she tossed the pillow at him, he peeked out at her, shaking his head.
"And yet, you love me" He teased, shaking his head and sticking his tounge out at her playfully. He stretched out, staring at her, a puppy dog expression on his face. He grinned and smiled at her, almost obliviuos to his actions.

Maria rolled her eyes as Alexi dove under the bed once more. She sat up on the bed, resting her back against the headrest. She crossed her bare legs, her arms wrapped around her waist. She turned to stare at Alexi for a moment, shaking her head, trying not to grin along with him.
"Which you'd better hope never changes." Maria said, as convincing and uncaring as she could muster. "I'm a terrible enemy to have." She smirked at his puppy dog face, shaking her head again.
"I've grown imune to that face over the years darling." Maria said, turning her face away from him, her curls falling over her shoulder, blocking her view of him entirely.

"Brat" Alexi grumbled, stretching out on the floor. He was lying on his stomach, arms crossed in front of him so he could rest his head on them tiredly. He wasn't tired per-say, just bored, though he was enjoying the lively entertainment that was Maria. He sighed, nudging the bed with enough force to shake it. He grinned, shakng the bed preidoically, enough to be supremly annoying, but not break the furniture.

Maria rolled her eyes. "Dork." she shot back, pulling the blankets behind her and over her shoulders. She yelped quietly, feeling the bed shake beneath her. She shot a glare at Alexi but he wasn't looking towards her. The bed shook again. Maria forced hereslf not the yell at him like she normal would and silently slid from the bed. Grinning, Maria hardly made any noise as she walked along the opposite side of the bed towards Alexi.

Slowly, Maria sat herslf down next to him. Bitting her lip, Maria tilted her head gently, brushing her fingers lightly over his bare back. She giggled before snacthing her hand back and jumping back onto the bed, pulling the covers over her as if that would protect her from him.

Alexi laughed, though he shuddered when her hands brushed his back, and then she was gone. Rolling his eyes, he looked around, seeing her hiding under the blankets.
"Pain in the ass" He grumbled, crawling up on the bed and shaking his head as he pinned her down, using the blankets that she had been hiding under to keep her pinned.
"Mmm, comfy looking pillow" He teased, nodding at the blanket covered Maria. Smiling, he shook his head and rested against her, snoring teasingly.

Maria laughed, pulling the covers from her face to look over at him. Her eyes went wide as Alexi pinned her down.
"And yet, you love me." she said, mocking him a bit and grinning. Maria laughed as Alexi held her. She pushed him then, not with all her strength, but enough to distach him from her.
"Oh? So that's all I am to you now?" she asked, pulling a hurt look over her face then. "Just a pillow for you to sleep on?!" Maria grinned inwardly, bringing false tears to her eyes and quickly looking away, covering her face.
"I thought I meant more to you then that Lexi..." Maria sobbed into her hands, grinning and making her laughter sound like crying.

Alexi rolled his eyes, "Dork" He growled, knowing what she was doing. He was used to this, she had done this to him a lot, particularly when they had to argue before.
"Nope, that's all you are a pillow, a lovely pillow" He teased, though, despite himself, he wrapped her in his arms and curled around her, kissing his cheek lightly.
"Mm" He murmured shaking his head and sighing. Despite the fact he knew she was joking, he felt bad.

Maria sobed a bit more, shaking her head as Alexi wrapped his arms around her holding her against him.
"I-I can't be-believe..." Maria pulled her hands away again, shaking her head and grinning, crocidile tears gone. "How cheesy that was. A pilliow? Honestly?!" she asked, rolling her eyes and falling back down against the actual pillows that still remained on the bed. She sighed then, closing her eyes, running her fingers through her hair gently.
"So, my love. What shall we being seeing of your darling Romana first?" she asked quietly, her voice soft smooth and gentle, the same one she used to charm humans. Maria opened her eyes then, tilting her head quizzically at Alexi with a relaxed smile on her face.

Alexi laughed, "Dork" He mumbled affectionately, rolling onto his back and sighing. "Colisuem for sure, probably some of the more artistic aspects for Keith and Alayna. They want to go to the Vatican, I don't want to go there though. The Parthenon, perhaps the Circus" He sighed, so much of his Rome was no longer standing.
"Wander the streets, see if I can show you stuff from my time, like where I used to live" He teased, sighing. He didn't mind modern Rome, it still had some stuff, but besides that, most had been destroyed, or changed by the Roman Catholic Church.

Maria rolled her eyes. "Whatever." she murmured, sighing. As he rolled onto his back, Maria followed him. She kept the sheets wrapped around her, but she lay on her side, resting her head on his chest, just under his chin. Maria smiled, purring lightly as she nudged him gently, subtly asking for his attention.
"Do they still have anything standing from when you were human?" she asked then, chuckling quietly. "You're so old you know." she teased lightly, closing her eyes and wrapping an arm loosly around his waist. Opening her eyes, Maria trailed the scar on his chest gently with her fingers, watching her movements absentmindedly.

"Of course, ruins. Like the Coliseum, I fought there as a human, and the Roman Circus. That's al from my time. There's also a few old bath houses, and the aquaduct" He sighed, stretching out.
"A few old temples, worshipping my gods, but besides that, it's all been destroyed or altered" He murmured, shaking his head.
"Roman Catholics didn't take kindly to some of the 'Ancient' Romans ideals" He murmured, wincing and sighing. He remembered seeing the changes, it had hurt, watching his past slowly be obliterated.

"Well, I meant besides the obviously love." Maria murmured. She knew about the Coliseum, and the aquaducts, a few bath houses. She nodded as she listened.
"Roman Catholics didn't take kindly to anything they couldn't control." Maria murmured distastefully, shaking her head gently befure nudging Alexi's chin again.
"Still, I gues somethings are better then nothing no?" Maria asked, picking her head from his chest to look into his eyes then, smiling lightly.

"Sometimes, but at the same time, sometimes it hurts. I mean, seeing everything I once knew, in ruins, or decorated with Christian Symbols" He sighed, and glanced at her with a small grin. Maria hadn't been born in the BCE, so she hadn't seen the huge take over, the destruction of so much. She had caught the tail end, as had Demitri, but it was harder to go from when your religion was believed, powerful, daily life, to seeing a new one completely take over" He said, shaking his head and sighing.

Maria sighed, reaching a hand up to brush through Alexi's hair gently. "Once they get the time machines up and running, I promise." she murmured, smiling and laughing quietly. Maria's first impression of Italy was during the Renissance, Ancient Rome had been a fantasy told to her, but nothing she had seen for herself regretably.
Maria's eyes darted over to the clock and she sighed. "It's early. We've got a few hours to kill before Alayna goes off to meet with that god-forsaken brother of hers..." Maria murmured, looking back at Alexi with a small frown on her face, eyes distant and troubled.

"Oh joy" Alexi grumbled, he was not a fan of Nicko, none of the vampires were. Jason had had everything explained, but he too didn't like him. He sighed, "Sven's going downtown with Demitri and Maddie, so at least they have some back up. Gods, I still can't believe she's meeting with him, he's dangerous" His hands inadvertantly clenched into fists, but he tired to ignore it.

"I didn't even know they were related..." Maria murmured. She slid her hands from Alexi's hair, down to his fists. Her eyes never left his face, looking concerned now more so than anything.
"Dangerous or not, he wouldn't hurt his sister. I think Keith's being a bit over-protective..." Maria murmured. All afternoon she had listened to the converstations in the main part of the house from the moment she had heard about Nicko. She had never met the man in person, but rumors were as good as gold from one vampire to another.

"No, he wouldn't hurt his sister, but he would use her to get to us. He detests Demitri, hates Keith, and the rest of us. He gets her out of the house, to some place safe, in his mind, and then comes back. In his screwed up world, he isn't hurting Alayna, but 'saving' her" He said, Nicko sounded like that.
Shaking his head, he sighed. "I don't think Keith's being overprotective" He said with a grin, sighing and shaking his head. He frowned, he didn't like this, not at all.

Maria rolled her eyes. She had a bitter taste in her mouth now, like drinking days old bad blood. She grimanced and shook her head.
"Yea, sure." she murmured, shaking her head. Humans just didn't make all that much sense to her anymore now. Maria sighed.
"Oh well, if he comes three steps short of the house, it'll be over and that's that." Maria murmured. "Let's talk about something else, that's depressing." Maria said, resting over him then, wrapping her arms around his neck, running her fingers through his hair gently.

"You're so un-war like" Alexi grumbled, shaking his head.
"You're ridiculous" He teased, though he was fine with a subject change, considering he funtioned completely differently then her.
"We could talk about.." He shrugged, looking at her curiously.

"No, I'm not." Maria said casually, shrugging her shoulders. "You, my darling, were just raised in the heat of a blood-thirsty nation."
She rolled her eyes then, leaning down to kiss him lovingly. "Maybe I am. Is that a problem?" she asked, rasing a perfect eyebrown in silent questioning and warning.
She chuckled then, eyes dancing. "There are an endless number of topics to dicuss mi amor," Maria said, running her fingers through his hair again. "It's just a matter of pin-pointing one of....intrest..."
