This Mask is Not Me

Shaye turned her side, kissing his palm, before surfacing. Laughing, she broke the surface and shook out her wet hair, wiping water from her eyes.
She quickly moved over to the side of the hottub, looking out at the ski hill. They had a fantastic view, and she loved watching the skiiers and snowboarders, and she couldn't stay underwater anymore. She glanced at Vaix, who was still at the bottom of the hot tub, and laughed. He looked so peaceful.

Vaix felt her kiss to his hand, then her leave. He made an expression, then calmed down again. He wasn't all to ready to surface yet... He was enjoying himself here. So he stayed down, enjoying the warmth until finally, he started to long for Shaye again. He sat up, head poking about the water, and wiped the water from his eyes to look over at her with a sleepy smile. He wasn't tired, just relaxed.

"Tired of flaunting your ability to not breath?" Shaye teased, looking over her shoulder at him. She smiled, and turned her attention back to the slopes.
"God I love it here" She murmured, she flashed her eyes back to him, before floating backwards and resting against him.
"Don't you?" She asked, looking out over the slopes. She knew Keith and the others planned on moving to London, but she loved it here. She didn't know what Vaix wanted to do, if he was interested in potentially getting there own place, close to their family of course, but their own place.

"Yeah, it's good." Vaix gave a yawn, smiling as Shaye came to him, and wrapping his arms around her waist to keep her in his lap, and away from the misleading jets. He wasn't sure about going back to London, he'd never gone back there since leaving, more out of fear than anything. His whole past had originated there. He hoped there wasn't anything still waiting for him there. He would gladly stay here, however, being so very far away from Keith and the others would probably depress Shaye, and he wouldn't allow that. His own needs aside.

Shaye sighed, looking at him over her shoulder.
"You know, we should think about getting our own place" She murmured, sighing.
"I mean, close enough to the others, but our own place" She said, she loved just being with Vaix alone, it was perfect. She missed Keith and stuff, but he and Lina had lived alone, and had liked it. "We'd still have to visit and stuff, but it would be nice to have our own space" She knew Vaix would probably like that idea.

Vaix smiled at the idea, nodding his head eagerly, then giving a light sigh at the thought. "It would be nice, Keith enjoyed his time, and I most certainly enjoy time with you..." He smiled at her, then gave a passive shrug, wondering where and how big there house would be. Technically, he didn't have any money, It had been exploded by Seth. Now he had Keith's, and Keith had lots. But buying a house was a big purchase, a bit of a stretch for borrowing money.

Shaye smiled, "Really?" She asked, her eyes shining. Keith's time with Lina had been cut short, but she had no desire for her time with Vaix to be cut short like that.
"Yea he did, hopefully ours last's a lot longer" She murmured, smiling at him and kissing him under his chin.
"Keith won't mind" She murmured, Keith had lots of money, as did she, thanks to Keith. She sighed and smiled at Vaix, "Where though?" She asked, curling in his lap.
"I mean, I'm fine with wherever, but you've lived longer, so do you have preferances?"

"Preferences?" Vaix muttered more to himself than to Shaye, he frowned, letting his head fall back to think. Like Shaye, he had no desire to cut their time short. So living by their family would be more than to satisfy Shaye's happiness, like when Shaye had been taken, he'd needed Keith's help, or he would have never gotten her back. But that also meant going to London, not that there was anything wrong with London, he loved that town. However, there was a lot of bad memories he wasn't sure if he was ready to face yet... "Well," he muttered lightly, forcing himself to get over his fears of the past. "I think we should live in the same location as Keith, for safety and for visiting sake. He wouldn't last with you so far away for so long." He gave a shrug, lifting his head to glance at her, "some big house in London then, I suppose. It would be...interesting to visit my country again."

Shaye caught the hesitation in his voice.
"London is nice, but, we could also stay in France, Paris maybe? It's only two hours from London by the train, so it wouldn't be far" She murmured, looking up at him with a small smile.
"As long as we have our own house I'll be happy" She liked the idea of living, just the two of them, it was more private, and there would be less stress related to family issues. Her and Vaix bonding sort of meant that they were begining to break out on their own, not completely leaving their family, but requiring their own space.
"I'm happy wherever you are love" She murmured.

"Sounds good," Vaix muttered, he'd been to Paris before, it had been fine. No bad memories, which was good. "I'd like our own house, it sounds nice. Of course I'm happy wherever you would like to go as well Shaye. If you want to live right next door to Keith. As long as I'm with you, I don't care." He smiled, though the idea of London was scary, he wasn't about to make a fuss out of something that probably wasn't even near existence, reality, or truth.

"Paris" Shaye said, nodding and smiling.
"I like that idea. I've never been to Paris before, and I bet we can find an awesome place" She said, looking at him and smiling.
"A town house in Paris" She beamed, turning to him and grinning. "Keith wont mind, he's known that I'd leave eventually, and as long as we make it clear we'll visit, and the others are welcome in our house anytime, no one will mind" She said, grinning brightly at him.

"Then let it be so," he muttered back to her with a smile, taking her hand and giving it a light squeeze. "We'll need to talk it over with Keith of course though. So maybe sometimes today we could wander over and see his thoughts on the matter." He smiled at the idea of having his own place with just Shaye and him. It seemed perfect. He sighed, giving Shaye a loving smile, then kissing her forehead lightly.

Saye nodded, "Makes sense" She murmured, curling against him. "Wow" She breathed, suddenly turning to look at him and winding her arms around his neck.
"Our own place" She murmured, smiling brightly and kissing him lightly. "I can't believe this" The idea of living with Vaix was beyond perfect, and she coudln't imangine it being any other way.

Vaix smiled as he felt Shaye's arms around his neck. A gentle purr rumbled from his throat at her words, and he lifted his head from hanging backwards off the hot tub side to look at her in time to be kissed. He chuckled giving a nod. "It'll be wonderful, maybe we'll buy something simple, and mold it into whatever we'd like. Or buy something old, with it's own unmoldable character..." Money wasn't really a concern, so they could buy whatever sort of house they'd like.

"I'm fine with whatever love. As long as I get a big closet" Shaye murmured, smiling, and hiding her head under his chin. Her mind was racing a head, a house, a home in Paris, with her soulmate, it seemed so perfect. Her famly would only be two hours away, and none of them would mind, she knew that. It was sort of expected, from what she understood, that soulmates often broke off on their own in the begining.
"I can't believe this" She murmured again.

Vaix smiled at her closet comment, then laughed as she repeated herself. "Believe it Shaye. It'll happen, and we'll be together forever..."His arms around her tightened lovingly, and he rocked them gently from side to side, swaying as he was pushed by the jets. "I'm glad," he purred softly, "to have met you Shaye. You have no idea how lucky we are...Every moment is precious." He kissed her lightly, smiling warmly.

"It's hard to believe" She admitted, curling against him, sighing contently.
"Same love, you've changed my life, in the most perfect way" She turned, kissing him lightly, yet passionately.
"Forever seems like a far to short of a time" She murmured, grinning at him, sighing softly. She closed her eyes, enjoying the moment, as well as the thoughts of the future.
"Mmmm, I'll talk to Keith later, he'll probably be fine. When do you wanna head out? I mean, we do have a house to buy"

Vax gave a shrug at her question in the house. "Well," he muttered calmly, "I figure after we run things by Keith, we should start looking immediately, buy it, then move in when Keith moves to London. So we may all go together. We still don't have cars, so it's safer to travel in groups." He smiled down at her, wondering her thought on the situation. "What about you? Anything you want to add or change to the plan?" It was a rough plan, put together in minutes. But it was simple and effective. A good root stone for a better future.

Shaye nodded, smiling.
"Sounds like a plan to me. Though, I think Keith and the others intend to leave like tomorrow. So we'd need to find a place, like, tonight" She sighed, and pulled her cell phone towards her, flipping it open. Dialing Keith's number, she held a brief conversation with him, discussing her and Vaix's plan.
"Okay, thanks. We'll see you guys tonight at the hotel then" She murmured, flipping her phone shut.
"He thinks it's a good idea" She murmured, grinning at him. "He'll meet us at the hotel dining room tonight, discuss some things, but besides that, we have to go ahead to buy a place"

"Then I suppose we better start looking," Vaix replied to her comment. But, against his words, he didn't move. The water was so nice, did he really want to get up? he looked over at Shaye with a soft smile, content where he was at the moment, despite what they needed to do for a happy future.

Shaye laughed, "Dork" She murmured, sliding out of the hot tub. She had been in there longer then Vaix, so she had no problem getting out. She wrapped her towel around herself, to keep from dripping water in the hotel room.
"You can stay out here for a bit, I'm going to change anyway" She said, kissing him lightly on the top of the head, before walking inside, careful to shut the door behind her. Heading into the washroom, she emerged a couple of minutes later fully clothed in a pair of faded, slightly flared jeans and a black tank top. Sitting on the couch she pulled her socks on, automatically drying her hair with her ability to shift. Sighing, she curled up, pulling her laptop towards her, and opening a real estate site.

Vaix nodded, though, after about three minutes without Shaye he started to get lonely, and slipped from the hot tub, taking another towel and fluffing himself dry like one would a dog or cat after the got out of a bath. It was effective though, and he was dry quickly. Slipping on the rest of his clothes, abandoning the socks, he wandered over to Shaye, seeing her on her laptop, "whatcha got so far?" he asked curiously, taking a seat beside her.

"Nothing major, but this one's cute" She showed him the picture of the small, yet quaint town house. It had a fenced in yard, and the pictures on the inside showed that it did need some fixing up. One master bedroom with a private washroom, a nice sized closet. There was a kitchen, a living room and a spare bedroom, as well as another washroom.
"It's not huge, but we can definately fix it up" She murmured, handing him the computer, "It's just an idea, but it's cute, and it's right down town"

"It's nice, very cute. I like it." Vaix muttered, looking it over, it was definitely something to keep in mind. Even if it was a bit of a fixer upper, he had no issue with doing renovations to it. However, it was foolish to act on the first good house you saw, so before deciding on it they would have to look a bit more to make sure it was the best of the lot. He scooched closer to Shaye, draping an arm over her shoulder as he stared at the computer screen.

Shaye nodded, much in the same mind as Vaix, it was a cute house, but there was no way you bought the first thing you liked.
She clicked the back button, scrolling down the page, they didn't need anything massive, there would only be two of them living there, but they did need space.
"We can renovate the kitchen into a spare bedroom, in pretty much any place we choose" She murmured, they didn't use the kitchen, so there was no point in having once. She paused, looking at a picture and opened it up.
"How's this?"
