One x One with: Blacksoal

A small smile appeared on her face as she drifted to sleep.

Keith walked out of his bedroom and sighed. A small smile appeared on his face as he saw Shaye and Vaix.
"Hey" He said to his friend and sat down on the couch opposite of him. He realized that Shaye was asleep and laughed a little.
"I told you so" He teased Vaix.

"Yeah yeah," Vaix replied with a smile and a roll of his eyes. "You don't have to rub it in," he chuckled. Before he'd beenShaye's boyfriend and had been secretly nterested in her, it had almost been a bet between him and Keith about weither Shaye liked him or not.

"Dude, I'll be rubbing it in for awhile, I can't believe that you never asked her till now" He said, rolling his eyes. In truth he was overjoyed, Shaye had always been extremely popular, but many of the guys she had dated had treated her horribly or behaved horribly, treating her bad. The fact that Vaix was with her was highly reassuring.

Vaix groaned at Keith's reply, "you know perfectly well why I didn't ask her right away Keith." He sighed, and let the hand that had been previously rubbing her shoulder drift up to her head. Letting him run his fingers through her soft blackish coloured hair. He'd seen her be mistreated by the other boys, which was why he tended to growl now whenever one got near her. It naturally had only been a matter of time before he snapped and stood up for her. Though it was better than killing the other boy he supposed...

"I know, I know" Keith said, smiling a little.
"Just take care of her, or I probably wont be able to be friends with you" He said, smiling casually, although there was a hint of a threat under his casual words. He knew he could trust Vaix, but Shaye was still his little sister at the end of the day.

Vaix stared blankly at his ageold friend for a minute or two, he'd caught the hidden threat behind Keith's words. Of course he'd look after Shaye, he was just surprised the friend he'd known for hundreds of years was willing to leave him behind fora girl he'd known for three or four years. He forced himself to shrug it off. Shaye was special, and he'd never do anything to hurt her.

Keith smiled, relaxing back on the chair. He didn't want to be mean to Viax, but no matter what Shaye came first, regardless of time.
"Sorry man" He said, "But at the end of the day she's my little sister" He shrugged.

"It's fine," Vaix replied calmly. "Better to know you care about her as well then to think you'd cause her harm." He ran his fingers through her hair again, looking down at her sleeping figure with admiring eyes.

"I've said it thousands of time, you two should have been together way sooner" He said, smiling.
"I'm so happy for you guys" He said, shaking his head a bit and smiling at the look Vaix gave Shaye.
"You're gonna be a perfect for her" He said, a look of admiration in his eyes.

"I hope so," Vaix replied softly. "It's still alittle hard to believe she wanted me in the first place. It's hard to tell someone you love them when your unsure about their feelings..." He gave a soft sigh, and didn't take his eyes off Shaye for a second, completely forgetting about the movie.

"She liked you from the first moment she layed eyes on you" He said, shaking his head a little.
"That's why I told you to ask her some many times. I'd never let either of you get hurt like that" He said, smiling a little at the look on Vaix's face. He knew that he could trust him with Shaye, as opposed to any one else.

Vaix smiled, "I know you wouldn't. I was just nervous about asking, you know?" He wasn't sure Keith did, as far as he knew, Keith had never had a girl friend.

Keith laughed. "Nah dude, I get it" He said, smiling a little.

Shaye shifted, falling off of Vaix's shoulder, her hair falling over her face.

"What a dork" He said, laughing a little and smiling at his sister. She could be insanely amusing most of the time, even asleep.

Vaix smiled and chuckled as she fell off his shoulder. "Silly girl," he picked up her limp head and put in on his lap. He shook his head with a smile and looked at Keith.

Keith laughed. "That she is" He replied.
"So how do you geel about this party tonight?" He asked his friend, frowning a little. He had no desire to Shaye get hurt by her friends.

Vaix froze, "the party?" He groaned, "aww man, I forgott all about that..." He sighed, "I'll just grin and bear it I suppose..." Vaix sighed at the idea of a party, he wasn't particularly good at going to them.

"Same" He said shaking his head.
"So how did it go with her today? Like where did you go when you bailed on school?" Shaye's hair was slightly damp so he assumed something to do with swimming.

"Beach," Vaix explained in one word. "We just went to the beach and hung around." He hesitated to remark about how Shaye's friends had acted upon seeing her. It had seemed to really upset her for a while...

Keith picked up on the slight hesitation.
"So, um who was at the beach?" He asked, smiling a little. He could tell something besides fun, had happened.

Vaix sighed, "not too many people... but some of Shaye's friends were there. They seemed a little more than awed at her new appearence..." Vaix looked at Keith with a frown, "I think Shaye seeing them act that way really upset her..."

Keith sighed and rubbed his hand through his hair. He swore softly before turning his attention back to Vaix.
"She always hated when people acted different towards her" He said, shaking his head.
"I'm impressed that she's still going to the party" He said, smiling a little as she moved again, her dark, almost black hair obscuring her face.

"Me too," Vaix replied quietly, pushing Shaye's dark hair from her face and tucking it neatly behind her ear. "They weren't mean to her or anything, just very, very surprised." He frowned and gave a soft sigh, he didn't like seeing Shaye upset. It upset him as well...

"At least she's going" He said, "She's never been one to let people get the best of her" He smiled, and laughed a little.
"She'll definately awe them all tonight when she gets dressed up" He began to laugh. Vaix had never seen Shaye really and deliberately try to look good.

"Uh oh," Vaix replied with a chuckle of his own. "Good thing we'll be there then. In case things get too akward."
He smiled, it was true, he'd never seen Shaye dress up before. He could imagen it though, and guessed she'd look pretty hot.

Keith laughed, "She's gotten pretty good at defusing the situation" He said laughing. "She's pretty incredible when she tries to be. She totally stunned me the first time she actually did dress up. I didn't recognize her at all"
