Already Over (Time to Rise)

"You are free to explore to your own desires, as long as you obey the guards.", Vixen said, motioning to a group of menacing looking individuals, which contained many different faces, including Jean Pierre and the fon Fabre brothers.

She flinched, grumbling to herself quietly and spoke up, "All right."

Cade nodded. Jean Pierre walked over to him. "I assume you will be taking your tour along side Skye?", he said. Cade looked over at her. "Would you prefer that?"

"Yes please." She nodded her head.

"I shall escort the two of you on your tour around the base.", Jean Pierre said, maintaining eye contact with Cade.

Skye gave a small nod, relieved she was going to be with Cade, the shapeshifter knew she wasn't going to comfortable with a bunch of srangers

Cade nodded as well. There was something about Jean Pierre that was a bit... off, but he wasn't quite sure what it was yet.

She glanced around the whole base and began to miss the feeling of being in the large comfoty cavern they called there base.

"You go, and I shall follow.", Jean Pierre said, smiling slightly. Cade nodded suspiciously. "Stay close to me. I don't trust him.", he whispered to Skye.

"Of course." She turned her eyes to him before they averted back to Jean Pierre.

Cade began walking away, with Skye and Jean Pierre in tow.

Skye tried to focus mostly onto the buildings to avoid the curious eyes of the gifteds as they walked through

Cade continually kept a hand on his katana, to be safe. Likewise, Jean Pierre remained tense and ready to attack.

"Get your hand off it, they're going to think you're a threat." She whispered quietly to Cade only.

Cade grumbled a bit, but complied.

Skye gave a small sigh of relief.

Cade payed close attention to Jean Pierre, both his words about the base and his actions.

The shapeshifter began to feel uncomfortable as the stares of other gifeds bore down onto her.

"And here is where our non-gifted allies live.", Jean Pierre said, motioning towards a large, rather ornate building, though nut as incredible as all the others. As Cade looked at it, his eyes drifted to a second story window, where he saw a familiar figure, dressed completely in white, and holding a glowing green orb. He did a double take, and the figure was no longer there. "Skye, did you see that?", he asked quietly.

She glanced towards the building, but shook her head, "See what?" She murmured quietly.

"I saw Albedo, in that window there."

She glanced up to where he was gesturing at and her brows furrowed in confusion, "I-I-I don't see anything..."

"Maybe I'm just being paranoid..."

"Maybe not." She gave him a reassuring smile.

"I really hope I am, though..."
