Blood Lust

(Ooh, I jsut had an idea! yo won't know it yet, though!)Alex nodded. "Hey, I think we should at least stop by your house, to let your parentsno you're still alive."

Selena stared at Alex. "No..." She whispered. "Please... no... my mom will probably be madder then she already is... and she might make me live there again..."

"I'll convicne her I'm taking good care fo you."

Selena looked down and then looked up at Alex again. "Ok..." She said reluctantly.

Alex smiled. "Let's go!"

Selena followed Alex. Why is he smiling like that...? She thought to herself.

"Smiling like what?"

Selena followed Alex still. "Nothing... just, why are you smiling?" She asked cautiously, thoughtlessly moving her hand to her neck.

"I don't know. I'm just happy for some reason."

Selena moved her hand from her neck slowly. Some reason? What reason? She thought, knowing Alex would hear even if she didn't want him to.

"I meant 'some reason' as in I do't know why."

"Oh, ok." Selena said calmly even though she really wanted to know. "I kind of don't want to go back to my house and see my mother... but... I already agreed to this..."

"oK, here we are.", Alex said, as they came to Selena's house.

Selena stared at the house. It looked the same as it had the day she was kicked out. She felt nervous about seeing her mother again.

"Well? Knock on the door!"

Selena nodded slowly. She walked up to the massive door and knocked on. She ran back to where Alex was, waiting for someone to answer the door. "My dress!" She said suddenly. "My dress is torn so short... she's going to think you did something to me!" Selena whispered the last part to Alex.
A few seconds later the door opened slowly as Selena's mother stood in the doorway, an unemotional look on her face. She almost seemed dissapointed to see her daughter.

"It'll be fine.", Alex said queitly to Selena.

Selena just nodded and stayed quiet. She looked down and didn't make eye contact with her mother.

Selena's mother stared at Selena dissaprovingly before she looked at Alex. "What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"I am taking care of Selena.", Alex said.

Selena stepped to the side so that she was a little behind Alex and hopefully less visible to her mother. What are you saying? She thought, knowing that Alex wouldn't be able to answer her question.
Selena's mother spotted the torn dress before Selena could hide from her. "And if you are taking care of her. Then what happened to her beautiful dress?" She asked demandingly. "It's torn to short."

"WE were attacked by a demon. I killed it."

Selena took another sidestep so she was directly behind Alex, hiding. What have you done? She thought.
Selena's mother stared at Alex with a strange look on her face. "Why don't you go back to your mental hospital and leave me be." She said, walking back inside and closing the door.

Alex walekd voer to the door and knocked on it. "I have proof that I'm telling the truth.",, Alex said. He then proceeded to pull Ezeriuth's head from his lcoak.

Selena stayed where she was, frozen in place. She was hiding behind Alex, from her mother. Should she follow Alex to the door so she could remain hiding behind him? But if she did that, then she would be brought closer to the door in which her mother was behind. But if she stayed where she was then she was just standing out in the open. "Alex, get back here, don't you know when enough is enough?... And put that head away... it's starting to freak me out." She half hissed, half whispered to him.
Selena's mother continued walking away from the door. She was starting to get annoyed by all of this. Demons aren't real... And Selena's a failure and a dissappointment. That ingrateful child went out and stayed with that stranger. Who knows what's happened... and her dress is horribly torn, I don't think I want to know the truth behind that... And she had the nerve to come back here? With him? I really don't think I'll be answering that door again. Selena's mother thought.

"One more thing I need to do, and then we'll leave.", Alex said, walking voer to the window. He opened the window, threw in Ezeriuth's head, and then clsoed the window.
