Blood Lust

Selena paused for a second. Thing didn't seem to be adding up correctly. "Is there any way in which I may speak to Alex?" She asked the demon politely.

"Yeah. You'll need to find him, first, though. when I took over his body, he got mine.'

"Ok. Where were you when you took over his body?" Selena asked simply.

'About 5 miles away to the south east."

"Let's go." Selena said looking at the creature and waiting for him to begin guiding the way. With any luck, Alex will be looking for me. She thought to herself.

Alex looked around and wondered what happened. He sat down for a second so he could think.

Selena began walking, searching for Alex. Alex... if you hear this, find me. I'm scared. She thought, trying to send the message out specially to Alex.

Alex heard Selena's plea. He headed towards where she was.

Selena walked cautiously. She didn't like the demon being so close. She would trust nearly anyone, but the demon had attacked her, twice.

Ezeriuth looked at Selena. "why are you calling Alex?"

Selena looked at the demon. "I wish to speak with him. Just one on one though. I think you should understand." She said.

Ezeriuth nodded.

Selena sighed and sat down on a rock. "When will he get here?" She muttered to herself, this short wait felt like forever.

Alex arrived. He saw Ezeriuth. 'You1 I want my body back!', he thought to Ezeriuth. In this body, speech was impossibel.

Alex... Selena thought. She just wanted to run over and hug him. But she didn't know if that was a good idea. Especially since she didn't know if he wanted to destroy her or not.

Ezeriuth walked away. "You too chat. I'll be back in a few minutes."

"A-alex..." Selena stuttered, with tears in her eyes. "He said that you planned on... destroying me... is it true?... Did you?..." She asked him, unaware that he couldn't talk in that body.

Alex shook his head. 'Of course not! never!', Alex thought, also unawre that he was incapable of speech.

Selena stared at him. All he did was shake his head... "Why did that demon tell me that you thought about that a lot?" She asked him.

'BEcause he's a liar and he hates me!', Alex said, still unaware that he couldn't talk.

Selena just stared. She heard no response. So you have nothing to say? She thought to him. "You've said nothing at all... no response to my question, yet you expect me to magically believe you... Maybe I should believe the demon..." She said outloud.

Ezeriuth chuckled. "He can't talk in that body. THat's why I had to take his so that I could talk to you.", he said, smiling.

Selena looked back at the demon. "I would like to speak with him... I don't want you to speak for him... I want him to speak..." She said angrily.

Ezeriuth sighed. "Fine. I will give him his body back for 5 minutes, but that's all.", he said. he snapped his fingers, and Alex returned to his own body, and Ezeriuth to his. The spider-like appendages disapepared from Alex's back, and his skin returned to it normal colour.

Selena looked at Alex. Alex was Alex again. "Answer the question I asked you... the one from which I heard and saw no response..." She said politely.
