Selena didn't say anything. She couldn't even think to herself without Alex saying something. He'd hear anyways. She would really have to get used to this.

"Fine." Selena said quietly. She followed Alex, even though she would much rather be at her home, writing poetry.

Skye sighed, now the glowing embers were just hot ashes that would burn if you touched them. She had to admit, she'd been doing this for about 40 years, everyday, since about 5 years before she was a vampire, and it was getting a little boring.
"Could you please stop reading my thoughts?" Selena asked Alex out loud. Earlier she had been using her thoughts as a way to ask questions that she didn't quite know how to word outloud... But now it was kind of creeping her out.

Selena smiled. "Thanks." She said simply, although she really didn't believe he was going to stop. She couldn't think of a way to test him, so she didn't say anything else in response.

Selena followed Alex. She didn't really have a choice but to come with him. What else would she do if she didn't follow?
Skye got up from where she sat on the ground in the woods. She walked over to an old metal bucket and poured the water it contained on the hot ashes, watching as steam rose. In the midst of the steam she walked away. No one was around to see her amazing departure from the scene, but it was epic.

Selena just watched Alex as he sighed. He looked kind of upset now. Not sad upset, but more angered upset. She didn't want to say anything or make any noise incase it would make him snap.

"Stop right there, Alexander Tellis.", a voice said. Several bullets flew past Alexander's head. A girl stepped out of the shadows. "Bella!", Alex said, partially glad, partially terrified.

Selena heard the sound of gunshot and saw bullets so close to Alex's head. Her heatbeat sped as she quickly moved to hide behind Alex. Her eyes were wide as she anticipated more gunshot.

Bella realoaded her pistol. "Now, let the girl go.", she commanded. "She is here of her own free will.", Alex said.

Selena stayed hiding. Never before had she been put in a situation where there was an armed person... Well, except for at her home, but those were the guards that used to work there, and that was different.

Bella smirked. "Sure...", she said. She grabbed Alex and slamemd him into a tree. 'W-wait! Bella! LIsten! Selena and I need your help catching a demon!", Alex pleaded. Bella released him. "A demon, you say? Lemme guess? The girl broke your violin, right?", she said. alex nodded. 'Well, really, the violin disentegrated, it didn't break, but nonetheless..."

Selena just stared. She didn't say anything. That girl was Bella?... She was scary... Almost as scary as that freaky psycho named Skye that hated everyone. Bella had just slammed Alex into a tree and now she had no semi-safe place to hide... great.

"I think I might need my brother's help with this demon.... He's been around for thousands of years, and my brother is more skilled with ancient demons than me.", Bella said. 'Oh no... Not Vincent... Not that psycho vampire slayer! he killed my entire family!", Alex said, terrified.

Selena watched Alex. He seemed to be scared. She walked calmy over to Bella. "Hello..." She began quietly. "... can you hold him to the tree so that I can slap him?... It's the only way I'll feel that I've gotten back at him for what he did." She finished.

Bella smiled. "I be happy to.", she said. She held Alex up against the tree. 'Oh, before you slap him, I want to do something.", she said. she slammed her knee into Alex's tender spot. Alex screamed in pain.

Selena felt a little bad for Alex now. She kissed him lightly on the cheek for half a second before slapping him twice as hard as she could. "That's for biting me." She said and then she slapped him again. "And that's for getting me kicked out of my home!"

bella let go of Alex. Alex fell to the ground, nt even able to scream anymore.

Selena watched as Alex fell to the ground. She couldn't have slapped him that hard could she?... She didn't think she was that strong. I couldn't have really hurt you that bad could I?... She thought, not wanting an answer, because that would mean that Alex had been listening to her thoughts agian.
