Demitri nodded.
"Well for us it's a way of life. Particularly shifters and vampires" He said softly, shrugging and sitting up.
"I can't claim to understand humans, I don't even remember being one myself, but for my species it's a way of life" He murmured, trying to explain what fighting was for him.

Keith sighed and accepted the bottles. He glanced over at Kristen one time, frowning a bit, trying to convey to her that this wasn't the best idea. He nodded to the Coach in a thank you and disappeared out of the cafeteria. He entered the room.
"Hey, I got three bottles" He said, handing Demitri the bottle.
"Coach isn't to happy with you" He warned the vampire, who winced.

Alayna nodded, she'd already heard this speech. "I firgured." she mumbled before Keith walked into the room. She sat up straight, her back against the wall watching him silently. She crossed her legs, resting her hands in her laps and breathing steadily, meditating without thinking.


Kristen sighed. She felt like a thousand pounds had been lifted from her shoulders. Now was the hard part of having to explain everything all over again. Keith had already seen the process, and Kristen realized now how it must have looked to the angel. Bitting her lip, Kristen walked into the dorm bulding, taking her time down the hallway.

Demitri accepted the water bottle thankfully, carefully unscrewing the cap carefully he drained it effortlessly.
"Can I have the other one?" He asked, looking at Keith with wide eyes, almost like a child asking for more juice, not a full grown vampire asking for more blood.

Keith sighed and handed him the second bottle.
"I probably shouldn't do this, but I guess" The angel said, he also handed him a shirt, wincing as Demitri carefully pulled it over his head. It was strange seeing the vampire move so slowly.

Alayna smirked and quickly covered her mouth to hide it. Her eyes darted to the door half a second before Kristen opened it. "Hey. Oh, you got Demitri blood." Kristen said, nodding to Keith as if she hadn't sceen him walking out of the cafetirea. Alayna frowned, but for a moment couldn't understand why. Kristen, to her, looked different. Not in a bad way at all, quiet the opposite actaully.

Kristen saw Alayna watching her carefully and was slightly taken aback. "What?" she asked. Alayna blinked and shook her head, letting the frown leave her face. Kristen tried not to frown, pulling her eyes away from Alayna and looking at Demitri. "Feeling better?" she asked.

Keith nodded, pretending he hadn't seen Kristen, she would explain, he knew that.
"Yea, figured it would be a good idea" He siad softly to her, smmiling a bit. He sat down on Demitri's bed, handing Kristen the other bottle, "Here, you can regulate him now. He's had one already, and wanted the other one right away"

Demitri sighed, it sounded like he was a child.
"You know, I can feed myself" He grumbled in an annoyed voice. He glanced up at Kristen, the scent of Simon was on her, and it bugged him.
"Fine" He said, his tone hushed. He took another sip of his water bottle, choosing to ignore them from right now.

Kristen nodded to Keith. She took the bottle from him, holding it in her better hand. "Well, he kind of needs it..." Kristen muttered. "If you haven't noticed the floor yet..." she smirked, weighing the bottle of blood in her hand. She smiled kindly at Demitri before setting the thrid bottle on the table behind him. "Yea, Demitri's right about that one..." she said quietly, joining Alayna on her bed. Kristen winced slightly, leaning agaisnt the wall roughly.

Alayna had watched quietly, just like always. She found that meditating while she listened helped her from zoning out completely. Even though they weren't talking to her directly, she'd be lost if she didn't pay attention for a moment. Looking over at Kristen, Alayna rested an elbow on her crossed legs, her fist on her temple. "So how'd it go?" she asked.

Kristen blinked, looking over at Alayna with a blank face. "What?" she asked.
Alayna smirked. "With you're new second? You said you would explain..." she muttered slightly.
Kristen sighed. "Right....well...." she muttered, closing her eyes. "Long story short. I rank highest in this school and Simon is now second highest. Make's him somewhat of my wingman if that makes sense..."

Keith winced as Demitri let out a low, warning growl.
"Shifters" He heard the hiss of the vampires voice. He glanced at Kristen, "Is that alright?" He asked softly, "I mean" He looked pointedly at Demitri, trying to draw attention to Demitri's annoyance.

Demitri growled, hands balling into fists.
"Shifters" He said again, shaking his head. He wasn't used to just forgiving after a fight. When vampires fought, they didn't forgive easily afterwards, and the fact that Kristen was so effortlessly forgiving Simon was irritating him beyond belief.

Alayna looked at Kristen, surprise clearing on her face. "Just like that?" she asked. Kristen nodded. "Just like that." Alayna blew out her breath roughly, sitting up before leaning back against the wall. She looked from Keith to Demitri, hearing the vampire growl.

Kristen sighed, closing her eyes. "I can't help who I am Demitri. Or how things work, alright?" she said, looking at him with hurt eyes. "I saved a few other shifters a fight by making him my second straight off the back. There had been a blank spot on the chart since Lisa....left...and it was getting tense anyway..." Kristen murmured, half rambling.

A light bulb suddenly went on in Alayna's head. "As first, you've got to deal with all those other shifters huh?" she asked. Kristen nodded, a bitter smile on her face. "No wonder you always looked stressed..." Alayna mumbled.

Keith sighed, "Makes sense, it was pretty bad for awhile, when Lisa, uh, left" He said, remembering the stress of those days. Kristen had managed to cool off the 'community' but for a few weeks things had been tense. He glanced at Demitri, he knew that vampires were grudge holders, it was part of who they were, so he could also understand how hard it was for his friend to 'forgive and forget'.

Demitri didn't respond. Kristen couldn't expect him just to move on, could she? She was asking him to go against all of his instincts, again. He sighed and just took another sip from his water bottle, his mind in complete and utter turmoil as he tried to work through his stressed emotions. He frowned and kept his eyes trained on the blanket underneath him. It wasn't even worth discussing how he felt right now.

Alayna nodded as she listened, her eyes lingering on Demitri for a moment. He looked tense. She turned her eyes back to Kristen. "So you two have the fight and that's it?" she asked, skeptically.

Kristen nodded. "Pretty much yea..." she muttered quietly, her eyes darting to Demitri for a moment before back at Alayna. She shrugged. "And honestly, since there are no other divisons here...don't really need a second...just helps keep the peace. He won't even be around that much either. It's not like we're going to be buddy-buddy."

Alayna frowned but nodded, sensing that she shouldn't ask anymore question. It was just making her more confused on the situation altogether.

"Well I'm glad that's all worked out. I'd hate the idea of another all out shifter battle going on here. One was enough" Keith said, shaking his head at the images. It had been hard, for everyone. When groups at the school fought, everyone got involved, whether it was patching up the wounded, or taking sides.

Demitri kept silent, just taking occasional sips from his water bottle. He was still beyond confused, and odviously upset, but he kept it to himself, not wanting to really deal with any of this right now. Gods how he wished he could sleep, just pass out, not hear this conversation, not feel this pain.

"You can thank Donny for that one." Kristen murmured, shaking her head at the flashbacks. The mention of the werewolf brought Alayna back from her own little word. She blinked, inhaling sharply before looking at Kristen.

"Wait, you said Donny?" Alayna mummbled. Kristen took a sharp breath.
"One of these days Alayna I'm going to lock you in a room with the latest volume of Forrbidden High's history and not let you out until you've finished reading it." Kristen muttered, shaking her head. The girl had so many questions
"What?" Alayna asked, having desperatly missed something.
"I'll tell you later..." Kristen mumbled, closing her eyes and leaning back agaisnt the wall. She wouldn't talk about Donny in front of Demitri.

Keith winced at the mention of Donny. He reached over, sliding his hand over Alayna's mouth.
"Shh love, you're aggrivating the situation" He said softly in her ear. She didn't seem to understand that talking about certain things just wasn't a good idea. He released her mouth, kissing her lightly on the cheek.
"Someone will explain later, just don't talk about Donny right now please" He said, looking pointedly at the vampire.

Demitri stiffened noticably at Donny's name. A low, uncontrolled growl ripped from him, before he managed to get control of himself. He glanced at Alayna eyes dark, before he glanced back down at the blanket. Donny, gods werewolves in general got his back up. The attack ontop of seeing them and dealing with them everyday made werewolves a dangerous subject,

"I-" Alayna sighed as Keith covered her mouth. Really? she thought, her shoulder's falling in silent defeat. She caught the geusture and nodded, rolling her eyes slightly. She couldn't help the smile that came to her face as Keith kissed her cheek. It quickly disappeared when Alayna caught Demitri's glare.

Kristen's jaw clenched and she shut her eyes hard. She flinched slightly at the growl that Demitri let loose. Sometimes, things were just too complicated...Kristen sighed, leaning her head back against the wall. Her good hand rubbed the skin around her cast. It was starting to itch like crazy. Kristen doubted that she would need this much longer, and was already counting down until it could be removed.

Keith smiled at Alayna, before glancing at Demitri, just in time to catch his glare. He sighed and leaned back, cradling Alayna against him.
"Itchy?" He asked Kristen, catching the movement out of the corner of his eye.

Demitri glanced up, noting Kristen's cast again and sighing.
"Can I sign it?" He asked, trying to change the subject. He smiled, his dark eyes shining. He wasn't to happy about her being injured, but he was sort of child-like in a sense, and the idea of signing her cast amused him.

"I call next." Alayna said as Keith pulled her to him. Kristen looked from Demitri to Alayna, laughing. She smiled, still chuckling to herself. She stood up, walking over to Demitri's desk, finding a Sharpie and tossing it to the vampire.

"Go for it." She said lifting her arm up slightly as she walked back towards him, careful not to stand in the blood still pooled on the floor.
