Vaix felt the balance of the matress become uneven, he had to make a quick shift so that he didn't fall in when Keith left. He blinked and looked at the water where Keith had dissapeared. He watched his friend go off to Shaye, probably to terrorize her some more. He smiled and got comfertabe, watching.

Vaix's eyes widened when he saw what was going on. "Keith!" He hissed, "let her go!" Vaix dove into the water like a torpedo, surfacing right beside them. He had to be careful about what he did, Shaye was still humans, fragile. Vaix wrapped his arm around Keith's neck and attempted to pull the older vampire away.

Keith released her instantly, shock stamped across his face.
"What-what happened?" He said, gagging as he realized their were marks on Shaye's neck.
"You bite me" She hissed, her hand clambed over her neck. Silver blood flowed between her fingers.

Vaix released Keith as he seemed to be able to control himself once more. He looked at Shaye, at the puncture marks on her neck, then at the silver blood the dripped from inbetween her fingers into the pool. Vaix had never seen Shaye bleed, he'd never suspected her blood to be silver. He took in some air, it definatly didn't have that hypnotizing scent vampire and human blood had. He didn't feel drawn to it at all, dispite Keith's actions toward her. Vaix could hear her heart pounding quickly in her chest like fluttering bird. That must have been what had set Keith off... He looked at Keith then at Shaye, "are you both okay?" He asked.

Shaye's hand was still clamped to her neck, but she nodded.
"Yea, I'm fine" She said, her voice quiet and distance. She was staring at Keith, a look of shock on her face. He hadn't attacked her in years, she should have been expecting this.

Keith moved away from Shaye, shaking his head. "I'm sorry" He repeated over and over, staring at her. She smiled a little at him. "It's alright" She said, reaching over and laying a hand on his hand. He sighed, relieved. Her blood still flowing down his throat, causing him to gag yet again.

Vaix watched Keith gag after Shaye forgave him. "Hey, Keith? You okay?" He didn't really look okay, his expression resembled someone with a horrible tast in their mouth. Keith was also coughing after he'd drinken blood, that wasn't exactly normal either. He tilted his head to one side.

"It burns" Shaye said by way of explenation. "Shifters blood is not exactly safe for vampires, because it can burn them" She explained. "He hasn't had enough to kill him, but I can imagine it hurts a bit" She said, shaking her head.
"I thought you learned the first three times" She said to Keith, grinning.

He shurgged, smiling regardless of the pain ripping through him.
"Never bite her" He said to Vaix.

"Okay," Vaix replied back to Keith. By the smell of Shaye's blood, that shouldn't be too hard for him. He looked at Shaye's bleeding neck again, "we should probably bandage that up before you lose to much of that fire blood of your's." He smiled and climbed out of the pool, streaching out a hand to help out either her of Keith, depending on who needed the most help.

Shaye slipped her hand into his, allowing him to pull her from the pool. She grinned at him.
"I guess" She replied, she was begining to feel a bit dizzy.

Keith shook his hand, "I'm gonna stay here, the water feels good" He said, laughing a little before coughing again. He looked up at Shaye worridly, he could see that the bite was affecting her more then she had let on.

Vaix hauled Shaye out of the pool and nodded to Keith, "alright." He looked back at Shaye then started to walk inside, he didn't pay much attention to where things were here. So he'd probably need her to point out the medical supplies locaton to him. He looked back at Shaye to make sure she was coming after him fine.

Vaix gave a nod, aware of her sleepy sounding tone. It worried him. He walked down te hallway quickly and entered the washroom, he opened the sink cuboard and rumaged around until he spotted what he was looking for. A first aid kit. He took the whole thing, planning to sort it out later when he got back to Shaye. He walked back down the hall and saw her sitting on the couch, the way her eyes looked alerted him that she was dizzy and starting to black out. "Hey," he greeted her softly sitting down on the already blood soaked couch beside her. He opened the kit and placed a cold hand on her forehead, "stay with me okay?" Vaix asked looking at her with consern, why were humans always so fragile?

Vaix jolted forward with her as his hand was dragged along with her sudden movement. This wasn't normal for bloodloss. "Shaye?" He asked his eyes wide in surprise. "Shaye are you alright?" He hadn't thought of venom because Shaye wasn't a regular mortal, so what was happeing to her now was completely in the dark for him. He pulled her upright again and turned her so that he could view her puncture marks, his eyes widened at what he saw. Black, the veins on her neck were starting to become more profound and were going black, he'd seen it when Roxa had been turned into a vampire. "Shaye," he breathed.

Vaix swallowed and didn't say anything. His own expression mirrored her expression of horror perfectly. He touched the black veins that were ever so slowly making their way along her system. "Please don't panic," he whispered as gently to her as he could. "But Keith's bite...it sort of...poisoned you. You're dying Shaye." Vaix pulled her close giving her a tight hug, then growled. He stood up and walked out to the pool, he spotted Keith in the water and snarled, "Keith! Get in here now! Your stupid bite is killing Shaye!"

Keith turned and stared at his friend.
"What?" He gasped, out of the water in mere seconds.
"What did you say?" He said, not sure if he had heard correctly.

Shaye's body convulsed again, horror and terror filling her. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. Pain lanced through her, steming from the holes in her neck and working their way down her body. She was on fire, being burnt alive. She couldn't think clearly, she couldn't breath. Dark spots danced in front of her eyes as she began to pass out.

Vaix growled at him, there wasn't time to explain out here. "You've poisoned her Keith. She.Is.Dying!" He turned and took off back into the house, Shaye looked far worse than when he'd left. Black veins crept across her body like spider webs and from her distant look of horror, she was starting to black out. Vaix sat down beside her, the bleeding had stopped on it's own now. Probably because of the venom. He touched her cheek gently, "you're going to be okay." He breathed softly to her. He wasn't sure if that statement was supposed to comfert her or him.

Keith stood rooted to the spot. His mind blank, he couldn't understand what Vaix was saying. The words "She is Dying" Roaring in his ears. Suddenly he snapped out of it and ran into the house. Staring at her in horror.
"What do we do?" He said, there was no cure for vampire venom.

Shaye's body contorted again, her entire mind focused on the pain coming from her neck. Her eyes flew open, bright red now as she stared at Vaix. She gasped trying to breath, even though she doubted it would do any good. Her eye lids fluttered again, and the pounding of her heart was so loud, she could feel it against her ribs. Then it stopped, no sound. She rocked forwards, crumpling.

"Shaye?!" Vaix whimpered, and listened for her heart. Gone. It wasn't beating anymore. He let his eyes flicker up to Keith for a second, pure horror locked in his icey blue eyes. "She's gone," he breathed to him. Vaix wasn't sure if Shaye could come back either. She wasn't a regular human, so he had no idea how vampire venom would work with her. Vaix lay down beside her, his arms wrapped tightly around her as he waited. Maybe she'd start breathing again, or move. He didn't know...

Shaye felt different, she wasn't sure if she had died or not, but if she had, it wasn't so bad. Suddenly her eyes flew open and she found herself staring up at Keith. She didn't move or say anything, she didn't trust herself to. She felt something holding her, and she looked down to see Vaix's arms around her. She didn't remember what had happened, but something felt wrong. She realized that Keith wasn't looking at her, he looked like he was in pain. She wondered what had happened.
"What's wrong?" She asked, her voice coming out in an almost silent whisper.

Keith stared at his 'sister' horror at what he had done filling him. He didn't know if she would come back, she wasn't a human. He felt grief filling him, he couldn't believe what he had done. Then something happened, he heard her voice. He whipped around, staring down into her quickly changing green eyes.
"You're alright?" He said, barely trusting his voice.

Vaix's head snapped up as Shaye talked again. He listened for her heart imediately, still silent. He looked at her neck, then black veins were calming fadding down as their task was completed. Vaix wasn't sure if he should be happy or upset. He was definatly happy she hadn't stayed dead, but at the same time he was upset that she was in a way dead.
"You're okay now," he whispered to her greatfully, gripping her tighter. "Everythings okay..."

"Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?" She asked Vaix, her voice rising a little in panic.
"What happened?" She asked, shiting a little in his arms to look at him. She had no idea what they were talking about. She felt different, like something was missing. Taking a deep breath, she realized that it felt wrong. Like she didn't need air or something. But that was ridiculous, she always needed to breath. Her eyes suddenly widened in horror. She turned to stare at Keith, who still looked grief sricken and slightly guilty.
"What happened?" She asked him, her voice shaking.

Keith stared at her, not sure what to do. She odviously didn't remember what had happened.
"Keith?" Her voice was musical as it landed on his ears.
"We don't really know" He replied, his whole body shaking.
"I bite you, and I guess I injected you with some venom, but I don't know what happened to you" He said, quickly, as if saying the words faster would make them hurt less.

Vaix stared at her without saying anything. He lifted a hand to touch her now vampiric pale face. He bit his bottom lip before speaking, "please don't be mad with Keith." He started, "but like he said, he bit you and it didn't make out so well this time. You're not...living anymore..." He gave a soft sigh and looked away. "But at least you can be the first vampire shape-shifter right?"
