Andy fell asleep soon after Keith did.

Zero sat in a simple chair, only the two backlegs on the ground as he leaned back, kicing his feet up on the desk in front of him. He glanced back at Shaye over his shoulder and watched her wearily.

Shaye's green eyes roved under eyelids, her body tight, silver blood dripping down her cheeks from beneath her eyelids. Finally, her eyes flicked open, she gasped, sitting up, before collapsing back against the pillows, her blood still running freely down her face.

"Calm down." Zero whispered, knowing good and well she could hear him. "You're fighting magic, love. It's difficult to do." He said, dropping his feet and the chair legs as he spoke, rising gracefully to his feet and walking to the side of the bed, standing above, watching her.

Shaye stared at Zero, eyes wide, "I'm dead" She finally said, her voice hoarse, eyes staring at him, almost as if she were transfixed. "Dead" She said again, feeling fresh tears welling up inside her, and more blood spilled down her pale cheeks. She had cuts all over her arms, chest, stomach, wrists, everything. It was awful.

Zero's brows furrowed. "Excuse me?"

Shaye winced, it hurt to talk, well, everything hurt.
"Cause you're here, I must be dead" She murmured.

Zero scoffed lightly. "Hardly." He said. He still looked very roughed up, but he'd put on a tee shirt. His hair still hung in his eyes and looked tousled, completely obscruing his piercing purple eyes.

Shaye sighed, rubbing her eyes.
"Well fine then" She said, looking confused. "What are you doing here then? I mean, I thought you left me, for good" She murmured.

Zero sighed, turning around and shrugging. "Yes, well. I did some thinking. And decided that was a really bad idea."

Shaye smiled, "Ah, well, I'm glad you came back" She said, sitting up gingerly. She looked at him, "I'm sorry, for everything" She murmrued softly.

Zero sighed. "You are not to blame for all of it. I, too, am sorry."

Shaye smiled, though she still looked beat to hell.
"I missed you" She murmured, reaching out to him.

Zero sighed and turning around, giving a small sad smile. "I missed you too." Then he shook his head. "Don't move." His eyes searched her body carefully and he looked pained. He swallowed. "Really, you're much too beat up for you do to much moving."

Shaye's arms dropped.
"Then come sit with me, before I try to climb off this damn bed" She said, smiling tiredly.

Zero gave a small smile. "Okay." He said, sitting down on the side of the bed.

Shaye glanced at Zero, smiling and letting her head rest against him.
"Mmm" She murmured, rubbing her eyes, sighing exahustedly.
"Are we okay now?" She asked, sighing tiredly.

Zero remained quiet for a moment as she spoke. "Of course." He answered.

Shaye sighed, looking at Zero contently.
"Can we never go through that again?" She murmured exahustedly, curled up, completely content next to the man she considered her husband.

Zero nodded. "Yes. That would be best." He said.

Shaye nodded, "Agreed" She said, sighing contently, though she was still beat to hell. She shifted a bit, supressing a gasp of pain as she shifted, knowing Zero would only worry like Keith would over Andy.

Zero gave a grim smile. "You can't get much past me." He reminded, before shutting his eyes.

"Shush" Shaye muttered, shaking her head and sighing.
"There's nothing wrong" She said, rubbing her eyes and wincing again, letting her head rest on his chest.
"Where's Jet?" She asked curiously, looking around.

Zero snorted, but it wasn't the playful snort he usually did, it was an actual nonbelieving snort. "With Adrian." Zero answered simply.

Shaye stuck her tounge out at Zero.
"Oh, I guess that makes sense" Shaye said, shrugging and smiling at Zero lightly.

Zero kept his eyes closed and leaned his head back against the headboard.
