Kristen let out a rough breath as Demitri picked her up and placed her in his lap. She felt a bit like a child when he did that. Then again, she was compared to him. She leaned back against him, pulling her arms under his own. She nodded. "Yea," she mumbled, closing her eyes as the cool wind blew over them.


Alayna chuckled. "Yea, that's a little more lost then I was.." she said quietly. The mention of Kristen sent ice through her viens and she tried not to shudder. "Keith...you don't think my dream will happen do you?" she whispered, staring distantly at the bed sheets.

Demitri heard her rough breath, worried that he had hurt her.
"You alright?" He asked, suddenly worried. He leaned over, making sure that she was okay. He knew he was probably stressing her out and bugging her.
"I'm probably bugging you hey?" He asked softly, sighing contently. He didn't care if he was bugging her, she'd just have to adjust.

Keith winced.
"I hope not. Sometimes they come true and sometimes they don't. The most we can do is make sure that we keep an eye on everything" He mumbled softly.

"Yea, I'm alright." Kristen said quietly, opening her eyes to look at him. "No, not really..." she murmured. "I'm just not used to being...worried about...actually..." she said, realzing the fact as she said it. Kristen chuckled, rubbing her forehead. "Definatly not used to it..." she sighed.


Alayna nodded, diving into that distant silence she had been in this morning. She brought her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around then. She rested her head against it, her eyes just above her knees. Deep brown and distant, her eyes stared at the folds in the sheets. She nodded stiffly again.

Demitri smiled, "Well now you'll get used to it love. I tend to worry" He teased her gently, kissing the back of her head. He knew that was true, already, just now, he was thinking about how warm she was, if he should get her a sweatshirt, if she was hungry, thirsty, etc.
He laughed, shaking his head for a moment.
"I'm not used to worrying about someone, but I could get used to it" He said softly.

Keith watched her grow quiet, and let out a small sigh.
"It's best not to dwell on it love" He said softly, shaking his head. It sucked to see her so stressed out.

Kristen chuckled. "Yes I noticed that." she said quietly, a smile on her face. She turned her head into the wind so her hair wouldn't be hurled into her face. "I guess if you can get used to it, so will I..." she said, turning to look at him with a happy smile and teasing eyes.


Alayna blinked, her eyes stinging. "I can't help it..." she whispered, her voice strained. Her eyes came back into focus, as if Keith's voice had broken whatever trance was over her. Alayna let out a shallow breath and rubbing her eyes. "It felt so real..."

Demitri cuddled Kristen against him. "Good, because it's not gonna get any better" He mumbled, arching an eyebrow at the teasing look in her eyes. He stretched out his legs a bit, keeping her comfortable was his main priority right now. "So you understand what happened with us right? You know that vampires fall in love differently" He murmured, he wanted her to understand why he would be acting so differently.

Keith sighed, "I know love, but if you dwell on it you'll only make yourself sick. Your dream was about Kristen and Demitri right? Well look at them" He nodded out the window. Staring at the picture perfect couple, "They're not worried, so neither should you"

Kristen sighed as Demitri shifted, moving slightly so she was more comfortable. "If by 'what happened' you mean that I suddenly felt your anger as if it were my own, then yes. And if all this worrying is falling in love differently, then yes I understand that too." she said, chuckling slightly.


Alayna sighed, blinking harshly again. "That's only because Demitri doesn't know, and Kristen's a good actress..." she murmured, rubbing her face tiredly.

Demitri sighed, "Good" He mumbled. He hoped she understood the extent of what he felt, but he assumed she felt the same way, so it was safer to not even breech the topic. He sighed and pulled her tighter against him, loving the feeling of being close to her. He was careful not to hold her to hard, reminding himself constantly that she was more of breakable then he was.

Keith nodded, "Demitri might not know, but he does know something is wrong. Though he acts immature, he's extremely bright. Plus, he probably overheard your whole conversation" He said, shaking his head. His friend's vampiric sense had been the downfall of his and Kristen's private conversations many, many times.

Kristen chuckled as he brought her closer. She nestled herself closer, leaning her head against his shoulder. She closed her eyes, suddenly tired. Who ever knew being angry at a stupid cheerleader could wear her out this much? She sighed, forcing her eyes open as to not fall asleep.


Alayna sighed heavily, rubbing her eyes again. "I guess your right..." she murmured, not wanting to argue anymore. She couldn't help the images that kept returning to her though/

Demitri sighed, unlike Kristen, he never felt tired, it was impossible. He could feel mentally worn out, but never physically. The only time he had ever 'slept' was when he was injured. He purred, it wsa something he did very rarely, and only when he was extremely happy.

Keith sighed, not knowing what to say. He smiled sadly at Alayna, knowing the images were probably plauging her.

Demitri's purring brought Kristen back into reality. She inhaled deeply, opening her eyes again. She pulled her hands from Demitri and she rubbed her face. "I'm going to fall asleep if we stay out here any longer..." Kristen murmured, chuckling quietly.


Alayna tried to smile back at Keith, just to reassure him that she was okay. She realized then, that she wasn't. Holding back a small whimper, Alayna moved so she could hide her face in his shirt.

"So? I'll carry you back to my room if you do" Demitri said softly, smiling at her. He mentally kicked himself for forgetting that she was 'human' in that sense. He sighed, and tightened her arms, he was perfectly comfortable and could stand here all day, no problem.

Keith was at her side in an instant, curling her in his arms.
"Shh love, I'm here" He murmured, pulling her against him, desperately trying to make her feel better.

Kristen sighed and rested her head on Demitri's shoulder, closing her eyes. "The point is I don't want to sleep..." she murmured. How could she not sleep though, when she felt so tired and comfortable. Not that Demitri was a fluffly pillow, but it felt right, resting against him and his arms wrapped around her, that she didn't mind the stiff neck she'd wake up with. "What time is it anyway?" she asked, her skin growing cold as the wind blew over them. She didn't shudder though; it felt nice.


Alayna kept her face against his chest as Keith pulled her closer. She did her best to hold back the tears, her body tensing automatically. Even at her best, a few strong tears escaped her grasp silently. Alayna rubbed them away furiously, shaking her head. She hated crying.

Demitri moved one of his hands, sliding his phone from his pocket in one fluid movement.
"About three in the afternoon love" He said, "Well what do you want to do so you don't sleep?" He askded her smiling. He slipped his phone back into his pocket before returning his arm to it's previous position so that he was once again holding her close. He felt the wind, but to him it was barely noticable, almost like a light caress or something.
"Is the wind to cold? I can't tell"

Keith tightened his arms around Alayna, he knew she was crying, or atleast attempting to keep from crying. He sighed, pulling her into his lap so that he could rub her back.
"Shhhh" He murmured softly, trying to make her feel better.

Kristen let out a smal growl. Why was she so off on the time? Opening her eyes, Kristen yawned before strecthing. Her arm twinged and she growled again, quickly pulling her arm back to her. "The wind's not too cold." she murmured. "Not like you, cold." she teased, turning to smile at him. She sat up a bit to keep herself from falling asleep. "I don't know...something..." Kristen muttered, pulling her hair up off her neck as the wind blew.


"Damnit.." Alayna muttered, the tears leaving her freely. Her body shoke slightly with the strain of Alayna holding back the sobs. She sighed, rubbing her face again as Keith shushed her. Taking a deep breath, Alayna rested her head against his shoulder, turning her face to look over towards the window.

Demitri sighed, "See, I knew I was cold" He grumbled, shaking his head at her.
"Alright, first let's head inside, that way we can get you a blanket" He teased, pulling her into his arms as he stood up, gently putting her on her feet.
"Come on love" He said, intertwining his fingers with hers a small smile on his perfect, pale lips.

Keith sighed and kissed the top of her head. Rubbing her back still a bit.
"Are you okay?" He asked, worried. He was slightly anxious, he wasn't used to seeing her so upset.
He cuddled her, not wanting to let go until she was better.

"Yea, but it's not unbareable..." Kristen said, letting Demitri pull her to stand. "Not a blanket.." she half whined. "A jacket works just fine." she smiled as Demitri took her hand, and she walked beside him, laughing. "I swear, you're obsessed." she muttered.


Alayna sniffed, and rubbed her face again. She nodded to Keith, taking a deep breath to calm herself further. "Yea..." she whispered. "I-I think so..." she rubbed the tears away from her eyes before looking up at Keith.

Demitri sighed and laughed a bit.
"Fine, a jacket then" He grumbled, he shook his head but rolled his eyes.
"I warned you, didn't I?" He teased, wrapping his arms around her, not wanting to let go. "Obessed" He snorted, rolling his eyes dramatically.

Keith sighed, "Okay" He half-smiled down ather as she looked up at him. He curled her against him. "I just wish I could make it better" He grumbled, feeling useless.

Kristen chuckled. "Yea, you did." she said, sighing with slight defeat. She leaned against him as Demitri wrapped his arm around her. She shuddered slightly, just to bother him and chuckled. "What you are." Kristen said as Demitri rolled his eyes at her.


"No, it's alright." Alayna murmured. She rubbed her nose gently and shrugged indifferently. "I'm just being dramatic...I shouldn't let this dream bother me this much.." she rambled quietly, shaking her head.

"Don't tease" Demitri grumbled, knowing now she was only messing with his mind right now. He sighed, and frowned a bit, tightening his arms around her.
"For that, it's a winter jacket" He grumbled, shaking his head at her and scooping her up, so that now she couldn't even walk now. He was doing it only to bug her, and he hoped she knew that.

Keith shrugged.
"It's only natural, you saw something awful to two of your friends. I'd be upset to" He said, kissing the top of her head again.
"You're did worn be about being dramatic, isn't it a teenage girl thing"

"You are my boyfriend." Kristen reminded him. "I'm allowed to tease." she let out a small yelp as Demitri picked her up. "Oh no." she muttered. She looked at him with sharp eyes and laughed before turning into a hawk and slipping away from him. She let out a small shriek, circling above him as the wind blew through her feathers. She couldn't keep away from him long though, and rested on his shoulder, still in hawk form. Kristen laughed inwardly, poking him with her beak lovingly.


That made Alayna laugh. She rubbed her eyes as she giggled and shook her head. "Yes,...you're right..." she said quietly, smiling at him thankfully.

Demitri gasped in suprise, and watched her fly admiringly.
"I feel like a pirate" He grumbled as she rousted on his shoulder. Normally getting hit with a hawk's beak would hurt, but he barely felt it. "Careful, don't bend your beak" He said, smiling at her as he made his way towards the school. He was aware of people looking at them again, but like last time, he didn't care.

Keith smiled, relieved to hear her giggling.
"When am I not?" He teased, returning the smile.

Kristen shifted back into a girl and returned to walking next to him. "Pirates don't have hawk compainon's it's usually a parrot." she corrected him quietly. Kristen nodded to a few people she knew as they headed for the dorm building. "I wonder what Keith and Alayna are up to..." she said quietly, her eyes resting over their building thoughtfully.


Alayna shook her head with a chuckle. "When you are not I guess." she mumbled. "I'ma go wash my face." she slipped from his arm relucantly, before walking into the bathroom. Turning on the water, Alayna splashed it on her face, sighing from the coolness of it. She rubbed her face tiredly before running her wet hands over her hair. She sighed, looking at her reflection. Her brown eyes were red and puffy, her face was flushed, and her hair wasn't as frizzy now. She sighed, drying her face on a small hand towel before walking back out into the room.

Demitri laughed, "Well not many pirates are vampires either" He commented, reaching over and grabbing her hand. He intertwined his fingers with her's and shrugged.
"Hm, probably just relaxing" He said, "You know, taking advanted of no school" Demitri said, nodding his head at a few vampire friends. He sighed softly and opened the door, leading her inside.
"So where do you wanna go?" He asked her curiously.

Keith nodded and sighed, he reluctantly let her go. He stood and quickly pulled on a pair of jeans and socks, and traded his slept in shirt for a white long sleeve. Carefully he pushed the sleeves up to his elbows, and sat back down, waiting for Alayna, once she emerged he grinned.
"Awe pretty" He said with a grin.

"Let's go check up on them..." Kristen said, smiling again as Demitri laced his fingers with hers. She walked into the dorm room and looked down the hallway. She was slightly worried about Alayna; she had been seriously shooken up with morning. She half pulled Demitri along with her as she headed down the hallway towards her's and Keith's room.


Alayna chuckled, shaking her head. "Pretty? All red and puffy-eyed?" she asked, sitting on the edge of his bed next to him. She looked at him for a moment, a happy yet tired expression on her face. "You don't look too bad yourself." she said queitly.
