"I don't care. But I do care that you're fighting in the streets, in front of my sister, I might add" Keith snapped, glaring between Vaix and Michelle.
"I don't care what he did, he probably deserved it. But I will not have you two behaving this way in front of my sister" He said, gesturing to Shaye. She was still standing shocked behind the bench. Her face still had blood on it, although it was smeared from Keith's hand. She sighed, and turned, disappearing down the street into the dark.
"I hope you two are happy" Keith snapped, moving aside and debating on whether or not to follow Shaye. He opted against it, she needed her time and space.

Vaix crossed his arms, growling. Then turned and walked off in the opposite direction of Shaye, hands in his pockets, with his head hung over in an almost shady appearance as he left.
Michelle watched Vaix go with his good eye, then looked up at Keith. "I didn't do a thing," he protested under his breath. Standing slowly and looking over as Shaye walked off.

Shaye sat down on the ground, sighing. She wanted to be near Vaix, but not if there was going to be much drama. She wrapped her jackets around herself a bit more and sighed, small tears running down her face. She sighed and stood up again, heading back towards her house. With her luck Roxa would be there and want to talk, but all she wanted to do right now was curl up on her bed.

Keith sighed, and followed after Vaix.
"Wait up" He called, catching up with his friend.
"What happened?" He asked, he knew Vaix was justified for attacking Michelle, he just wanted to know why.

Vaix growled almost warningly when Keith approached, then settled and allowed the older vampire to walk with him. "Nothing," he muttered, "Michelle just pisses me off. I don't know if you've figured it out yet, but he likes Shaye. A little more than I'd like. He likes talking about replacing me,whipping me out and taking Shaye as his own... I just lost it..."

Michelle frowned as Keith took off after Vaix, then walked off after Shaye, spotting her soon and limping over slowly. Blood from the cut on his face had blinded one eye temporarily, and his sides were killing him, probably cracked by her psycho boy friends iron strength.
"Hey," was all he could think to say as he pulled out another cigar.

"Well then you had every right to lose it. The guy's a moron" Keith said, frowning a bit. Michelle was already starting to cause tension in his family, but this incident wasn't exactly to be unexpected.
"He's always been like that. Doesn't really respect others, their relationships or their lifestyles" Keith explained hands shoved in his pockets.
"I honestly don't care that you were beating the ever-living life out of him, but it's just Shaye. I'd really prefer she didn't see anything like that" He said softly. Shaking his head.

Shaye glanced up at Michelle, wincing at the blood on his face.
"Hey" She said, a small frown on her face. She glanced back down to the ground, staring at the cracked pavement in front of her. She sighed and stretched out her legs, a small frown on her pale lips.

Vaix gave a soft nod, "you think she'll be mad with me?" He gave a soft sigh, "I think she likes Michelle sometimes. She's really nice to him, very welcoming." He winced, tensing again, "I don't think she even realizes what it's doing to me." He gave a soft sigh, sticking his hands in his pockets. "It's like Michelle's slowly pushing me out of the picture."

Michelle observed her frown, judging if it would be okay to attempt a seat with her. He took his chances anyways, sitting close, but not as close as before. Just enough to barely classify as sitting together. "You alright?" he asked quietly.

Keith sighed.
"Vaix, she's always been like that. She probably thinks all he has is a harmless crush on her. She likes him, but only as a friend. It's Shaye! She's loved you forever, and would never, never hurt you" He said, feeling sad.
"As for pushing you out of the picture? Michelle will try, but she won't let him. She cares about you more then she can express" He said, reaching out and tentitvely patting Vaix on the shoulder.

Shaye shrugged, glancing over at him.
"Stressed I guess" She said, not really comprehending what was happening here. All she wanted was to talk to Vaix, but he had taken off, and well, she had no idea how to find him.

"I guess," Vaix muttered quietly. He sure hopped that was the case, he wasn't sure he could take something like Shaye leaving him after all the recent pain he'd had to endure with Shaye constantly being hurt in his absences. He gave a sharp sudden whimper, then stopped walking, looking over his shoulder in a paranoid way.

Michelle gave a nod, whipping his face with his jacket sleeve in attempts to get the blood out of his eye. He looked back at her with a sympathetic stare, "he is rather upsetting isn't he? No control." He gave a soft uncaring shrug.

Keith too glanced over his shoulder.
"We probably shouldn't have left her back there. He'll be talking with her, hands down" Keith said, pausing and glancing anxiously down the street. He knew Michelle would capatalize on the fact that neither he nor Vaix was there.
"It is true, she really cares about you" He said, looking at his friend. He hoped Vaix didn't do something he'd regret.

Shaye glanced at Michelle, her eyes filled with fury.
"What does that mean? I happen to think he's perfect" She muttered, sucking in a sharp breath before returning her gaze to the pavement.

Vaix hesitated to move for a second, then growled inhumanly and started back down the way he came. It was true, he did love Shaye, and because of it he wanted her to be happy. Even if it did remove him from the picture, but he would not allow Michelle to take any advantages on her. He still hated Michelle, and he'd rather die than watch a man like that steal Shaye away. If he could do anything to stop it, he would.

Michelle looked taken back by the look in her eye, though it didn't deter him in the least. He grunted, but said nothing more about it, scooching over and slinging his arm around Shaye's shoulder's. "Do you think it would be to prideful to ask if you'd date someone better than your idea of perfect?"

Keith watched Vaix go and sighed. He wasn't sure if he should follow after him, but prefered to leave him be.
"Michelle, if you know what's best for you, you wont be near my sister" He mused to himself, heading back towards the house.

Shaye growled and shrugged his arm off, standing up and leaning against a telephone poll.
"No, it wouldn't be prideful, it would be pointless thought. I'm happy where I am, and happy with who I'm with" She said, brushing dark hair from her face.

Vaix hadn't noticed Keith hadn't followed he continued to growl, his pace quickening to a trot as he tracked Shaye by scent.
Michelle frowned when she backed away from him. "Aw come on, your not even going to try for a happier life? I'm sure your perfect guy has some flaws. Even if just one, there has to be something you regret about him." He stood and started to make his way over to Shaye again, his arms spread as if he were asking for a hug.

Shaye growled, narrowing her eyes at Michelle, turning them a dangerous black colour.
"Well to be perfectly honest, he has no flaws" Shaye snapped, back pressed against the telephone poll. Sighing she looked around, desperate.
"Why do you care so much? Do you honestly believe that I want you? Yea I liked you, as a friend, but now you've gone to far. And any chance you thought you had of ever getting me, it's gone. Periode, end of story" She snapped, crossing her arms against her chest.

"Huh?" Michelle stopped and just stared at her, "what did I do? Can't I sit with you, or offer you a hug in your time of distress? Honestly you're the one who's done nothing but emotionally attack me. I have no family or real friends, and when I try to make one out of you you just push me away in the cruelest way possible after sending me kind messages. It's both confusing and aggravating. Do you have any idea what it's like? Thinking someone likes you, then have then shove you away like some sick sport?" He advanced closer, standing before her with a frown. "I'd say you at least owed me a kiss..."

Shaye gaped at Michelle.
"Mixed messages?" She said, eyes wide. "I was being nice to you because that's what friends do" She said uncrossing her arms and tossing them in the air.
"You're the one who's being so weird. All I ever did was try to be nice and friendly to you, but all you do is try and take advantage of that. You make my boyfriend angry, which in turn puts me in akward situations" She said, hands on her hips now.
"And if you think I'm kissing you, you're smoking more then just that cigarette" She muttered, rolling her eyes.

Michelle narrowed his eyes at her reply, his hand rose to the cigar in his mouth, he took a slow drag on it and blew the smoke in her face. "Brutal," he muttered, "you broke my dam heart girl." He grinned almost dangerously, then let his hand snap forward and grip her by her shirt collar, pulling her forward suddenly and forcing his lips to hers, closing his eyes and falling into it easily, then pulling away with an almost sinister grin. "Your flawless boyfriend doesn't care about you," he growled, "and if your not careful, neither will I. You keep this up, and you'll end up all alone, without anyone to love you. Looks don't get you everything." He played with a lock of her hair, still smiling contently.

Shaye jerked back, a shocked, pain-filled expression on her face.
"I'd rather be alone and unloved then with someone like you" She hissed, trying to pull away, which was hard when someone was holding your hair. She could feel tears welling inside her, and she forced them down, trying to keep her emotions from her face.
"Let me go" She hissed, her eyes narrowing. She couldn't believe what had just happened. She was trying hard not to believe him, but Vaix hadn't been there to protect her, he had just taken off. She bit her lip, "Let me go" She said again.

"For how long should I let you go?" Michelle replied back in a monotone uncaring voice. Glancing back over at her with a smile. "It doesn't matter anyways, by the end of the week Lucifer will wipe out your family. You'll be stuck with me anyway. I was just trying to soften the blow." He pulled her close again, taking another drag on his cigar before kissing her once more, blowing the cigar smoke in her own mouth as he did.

At that moment Vaix had arrived, his eyes had bulged, he'd taken a step back. Then practically screamed in pain and rage at what he was seeing. He was unsure at this moment what to do. Shaye was kissing Michelle, or maybe Michelle was kissing Shaye. If he attacked, he might hit Shaye, if he didn't he'd be letting Michelle have her. He whimpered and stared in utter horror.

Shaye's eyes snapped, and she swung her hand back, slapping Michelle across the face, hard.
"Stay the hell away from me, and my family" She hissed, yanking away from him, not caring about her hair. Her eyes filled with tears as she saw Vaix, and she sank to the ground, horrified. She hadn't done anything wrong, had she? She felt the tears falling down her cheeks, but she made no move to wipe the away. She glared up at Michelle.
"Get away from me" She spat, wrapping her arms around herself and crying softly.

Michelle stumbled back in surprise to her hit, placing a hand on his face and growling. Oblivious to the fact he'd upset her to the point of crying. He looked over, and upon seeing Vaix took off in the opposite direction, leaping onto a nearby roof and taking off across them that way. Within seconds he'd gone.

Vaix watched Michelle leave, and Shaye curl into a ball and cry. He frowned, hesitating to move as he watched her with a look of disbelief. After a sort while he gathered the courage to walk over to her. "Shaye?" he tried to keep any emotion from his voice, which in turn mad it sound cold and irritated. "What was that?"

Shaye looked up at Vaix, hurt stamped across her face at his tone.
"What do you mean?" She asked, her tone hurt as she brushed tears from her cheeks. "He kissed me, forced himself on me" She growled, brining her hand to her bruised lips this. This brought back memories of Austin, which in turn made her start to cry all over again. She looked away from Vaix, not sure if he even cared, he didn't sound like he did.

Vaix watched her with the same cold expression for another second, then sighed sadly and sat down beside her. "I'm sorry," he whispered gently, placing a cautious hand on her back as she cried. "I'm a terrible boyfriend. I should know by now that leaving your side puts you in situations of pain." He closed his eyes and went silent. Shaye's sobs torturing him internally, she hadn't been crying until he'd showed up, which had both hurt and terrified him. Which was why he'd tried so desperately to hide his emotions towards it. The last ting say needed was to see her boyfriend fall apart in front of her in her time of need. Unfortunately it had only seemed to make matters worse. He pulled his knees to his chest, laying his free arm on them as he stared at the floor.

"You're not terrible. And it's not your fault, it's his" She spat, wiping her tears on her jacket sleeve.
"You know I would never kiss him right? I love you and only you. He means nothing to me" She said softly, hoping against hope he didn't actully believe she was capable of doing that. She placed her hand to her lips, they were puffy and brusied, she could tell. She sighed and wrapped her arms around her legs, eyes shining, but she had stopped crying, for now. She glanced up at the sky, it was filled with stars, but they all seemed, blurred, distant. She took a deep, shaking breath and looked at him.
"I'll understand if you don't want to be with me anymore, but I would never do anything to hurt you" She said, her voice painfilled and hushed. It was true, she would understand.

Vaix winced, he went completely silent for a moment, then lay his head on her shoulder. "It would cause me more pain to leave you, then to watch you kiss every other man in this city Shaye." He closed his eyes and breathed sadly. "I don't care what happened, as long as you're alright, and you still want me..." He sighed, "please just stay away from him. If you can. For me." He kissed her cheek gently and went silent again.

Shaye sighed in relief, but felt her anger flair up again.
"Do you honestly think I want anything to do with him now? He forced himself on me, treated me like absolute dirt, and then proceeded to kiss me" She snarled, her anger startling even her.
"Of course I want to be with you, if I didn't I wouldn't be here. I love you, you! Not him, especially not him, or anyone else" She said, standing up to lean against the telephone poll. She hadn't meant to snap at him, but this was really to much. She crossed her arms around her chest, her mouth still tasting like cigarette smoke.
"I was only trying to be nice to him, as a friend. I never even thought about being with him, not once" She said, her voice going softer, gentler now.
