Demitri caught Maddie and her bear as they shot out of the bottom of the slide.
"Again?" Demitri said, chuckling and looking at Kristen. "So do you wanna do the slide again? Or should we try another ride?" He asked, they hadn't even explored half of the jungle gym yet. He hoisted Maddie back onto his shoulders, letting her hold her bear all the while, he wouldn't drop her, and they went faster if he carried her. He glanced at Kristen, "What do you want to do?" He asked her, wondering if she wanted to go play some more games, he particularly enjoyed a few of them, but he wasn't going to press the subject.

Sven shrugged, "Meh, I've been cooped up in the house for way to long, I wanted to get out of the house" He said, smirking and sliding into the driver's side.
"So, where to?" He asked, arching an eyebrow at him. "So, what's up?" He asked, heading downtown. He didn't want to be at home with Keith and Alayna anyway, Alayna was bound to still be overly protective of Keith, which could get exceedingly annoying.

Maddie grinned and laughed, still giggling as Kristen showed up. She looked a bit disshelved herself and when she stood up, she cracked her back softly. "Much better." she sighed. Rubbing her neck, Kristen looked back up at the top of the jungle gym and shook her head.
"Nah, let's keep going. There's plenty more of the park to see." Kristen said. Maddie sighed and shrugged, still giggling quietly as Demitri picked her up and settled her on his shoulders.
"Then where are we gonna go?" Maddie asked. Kristen glanced at Demitri and grinned.
"How about we play some games?" she offered. Maddie looked from Kristen to Demitri's head. Games?



Nicko shook his head. "Downtown's fine." he murmured, slidding into the passanger seat of the truck. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair as Sven drove on. He frowned a bit at the vampires question and shook his head again.
"Nothing. Just stuff I've got to take care of back home." Nicko murmured. And by home, he ment the States. "I was supposed to be State-side forty-eight hours ago. I stalled to help you with Keith, plus Alayna needed me..." he added, looking out the window now.
"I just have to break the news to her gently..." Nicko said, shrugging again.

Demitri laughed. "Games sound good to me" He said, nodding at the exit to the jungle gym. He looked at Maddie, "Games like the one your mom played to win you your bear" He said, smiling at her and shaking his head. He glanced up and ducked a bit as they walked out the exit. He didn't want to hit Maddie at all, he headed towards the games, helping Maddie down.
"So, here we go" He nodded, "Darts, basketball, shooting games, anything you can think of" He said, smiling at Maddie.
"Do you wanna try and play one?" He didn't mind paying so she could try.

Sven frowned, "I thought you were quitting, considering everything that happened?" He said, remembering Keith and Nicko's discussion. He sighed, turning towards the downtown.
"Appartment or airport?" He asked curiously. "And letting Alayna down easy is impossible" He grumbled, shaking his head and sighing.

"You won this?" Maddie asked, holding the panda up for Kristen to see. The mother smiled as she walked along side Demitri, lacing her fingers with his.
"Of course." Kristen said, grinning. When it came to games that required any type of aim, Kristen excelled at. She was almost as good as Demitri. If she had the vampire sight like he did, she might be just as good as he was.
"Um..I don't know.." Maddie said, looking around the games. She held Demitri's other hand tightly, her panda under the other arm.
"They've got Whack-a-mole at the end." Kristen said, laughing to herself. She had thought about the sight it would be to watch Demitri actually play that game. "I think you'd probably break it." she murmured to him, laughing again.


Nicko rubbed his chin gently. "Quitting is half the issuse I have to deal with.." he said, looking mildly indifferent to the whole topic. In his mind, it was just another thing that needed to get done and be over with. He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.
"The apparement's fine." he told Sven. Nicko smirked hollowly at Sven's comment about Alayna. "Oh? So you've noticed." he murmured, shaking his head. "I'll try to get back as soon as I can, but..." Nicko trailed off and shrugged. He really had no idea how things would plan out, but hopefully he could get out of everything quick and easy and come back.

Demitri winced, "Actually, I've broken it three times" He admitted, looking at Kristen with a small embaressed smile. He looked at Maddie. "Look, that one has ducks on water, all you have to do is pick one, and you get the size of the animal written on the bottom" He said, smiling at Maddie.
"Or that one, you 'fish' and then whatever you hook is your prize" He said, picking games Maddie would find easy, and that she would actually win a prize doing. He glanced around, eyeing one of the basketball games with a grin, he never failed to win. He looked at Kristen and Maddie, waiting to see what they wanted to do.

"Ah" Sven murmured, pulling up to the appartment. Once there, he fished a few things out of hsi pocket. He handed Nicko a cell phone, a plane ticket and a credit card.
"Here, the phone has my number, call me if you need anything, help included. This ticket is open ended, use it to come back, your appartment will be waiting, and the card, well, that's just in case" He said, smiling lightly.
"Also, I'd like to offer you a job, security for one of my companies, stationed here in Russia"

Kristen burst out in laughter. "Wow, I really know you too well. It's kinda scary." Kristen said shaking her head.
Maddie looked at each of the games Demitri picked out. She smiled at the idea of fishing. "That one." she said, pointing. Kristen caught Demitri eyeing the basketball game and she pulled away gently.
"Go get 'em vamp." she murmured softly, taking Maddie's hand. He'd been helping her all day, he deserved a game or two. Maddie grinned at Kristen skipping alongside of her and over to the game.
This was fun, just spending time with Kristen and Demitri, playing games, going on rides, swinging, exploring...
Skipping back to Demitri, Maddie jingled with the beaded necklaces she had won. Kristen smirked as the child hoped over to Demitri and watched him play till his game was over before holding up the madi-gra style beads. "Look what I won!" She told him, smiling. "And Mommy didn't help at all!"
Kristen chuckled. "Nope. She had it handled."


Nicko was about to get out of the truck as Sven started handing him stuff. He blinked, taking the cell phone, credit car and plane ticket. The plane would be leaving in two days. Good, that was plenty of time for him to firgure out what to tell Alayna. Looking back at Sven, Nicko was about to thank him when the vampire offered him a job. That left him a bit speechless for a moment.
The job offer he could no refuse. "Th-that would be great." Nicko said, staring down at the things in his hands. Sighing, Nicko put the cell phone and credit car in his pocket, holding the plane ticket still. He smiled at Sven, and held his hand out to him. "I really owe you one." he said.

Demitri smirked, handing Kristen a big stuffed tiger and bent and gave Maddie a dog that was bigger then she was.
"Wow, all by yourself?" He asked, smiling and admiring the beads.
"Good job" He murmured, smiling at her, "Very pretty" He said with a small grin. He laughed, both Maddie's prizes were larger then her, well, the bear was the same size, she could ride the dog.
"Like it?" He asked, looking at Kristen, before flicking his eyes back to Maddie to see what she thought.

Sven chuckled.
"No problem Nicko, despite the circumstances, I saw your potential that day, and know you'd be perfect for the job. You have a Russian passport now as well, so no worries about working here or anything" He said with a grin. "You don't owe me anything, we once told you that vampires take care of family, and now you're family" He said with a small grin. He returned the hand shake, "I can handle Alayna if you want, it might be easier"

Kristen blinked and Maddie squealed with delight at the toys that Demitri presented them with. Kristen laughed. "I think this is a dangerous place for you..." Kristen said, shaking her head, but holding her tiger to her gently all the same, grinning at Demitri. At this rate, Maddie's room would be full with stuffed animals that were ten times her size.
Maddie was dumbfounded at how big that dog was that Demitri handed her. "Whoa!" she gasped. She could practically sleep on it instead of her bed. "You must have gotten a loot of points..." Maddie said, eyes wide as she looked back up at him. She was probably the happiest child in the park right now...Maddie rubbed her stomach...and the hungriest.
Kristen chuckled. "How does hot dogs and french fries sound?" Kristen asked, glancing over her shoulder at the vender a few paces away.
Maddie looked up at Kristen and grinned. "With ketchup?"


Nicko shook his head in disbelief, though he was entirely grateful. He smiled as Sven shook his head before he stepped out of the truck. "No, I'd better do it. Elsewise she'll be sulking for the next to months." he said. "And I'd feel bad for making you deal with that." Nicko said, putting the ticket in his back pocket before closing the door.
He gave Sven a salute with a smile before heading up into the aparement building.

Demitri rolled his eyes.
"And now the vampire is going to go play more games" He teased, wrinkling his nose.
"Alright, glad you like it" He kissed Maddie's head and Kristen's cheek, "Come get me when you're done eating" He said, trotting off towards the row of games, looking for one in particular. He paused, looking at the balloon popping game, ignoring the vendors calling out to him. He hated that, but he wasn't going to be swayed by them. His eyes lit up as he spotted the game. Trotting over, he handed the man some euros and began to play.

Sven chuckled.
"Alright, get in touch with me when you're home, and I'll set you up" He said, smiling. "You'll be heading security at a medical research facility, no animal testing or anything though" Sven was an animal rights activist, so his facilities never tested on anything like that.
"See you, have a good trip" He called, backing out of Nicko's appartment. He headed towards one of his businesses, figuring this was a good time to check up on stuff, and finish filing Nicko's new paper work.

Maddie giggled, watching as Demitri walked off to play another game. Kristen sighed, picking up the large dog, leaving Maddie to carring the panda.
"Come on girlie." Kristen sighed, taking Maddie's hand and walking over to the vender. She got Maddie a lunch meal, and just herself a bottle of water. She'd pick off Maddie's fries, and hopefully the water would help her throat, though Kristen wasn't too hopeful.
Once Maddie was done eating and the ketchup was clean from her face, they set off to find Demitri. Kristen was sipping from her water gently, not trusting her body to hold it down. She had eaten a few fries and felt sick nearly instantly. Knowing how Demitri got whenever he tried human food, Kristen didn't want to risk it one bit.
"There he is." Maddie said, tugging Kristen's hand gently and pulling her towards the game Demitri was standing at.

Demitri rubbed his throat accidently. "Oh damn" He said, shaking his head and frowning. He glanced up, seeing Kristen and Maddie. He frowned, looking at Kristen, catching her eye. Sighing, he dug in the back pack and passed her waterbottle.
"Here, it's special soda" He said, winking at her lightly, it was his blood, he had filled it before they left, he had just hoped he wouldn't have to use it. Sitting by his feet was a pony, one of the stuffed ones that little kids could ride.
"Here kiddo" He said, smiling at Maddie, he had been bored, especially considering Kristen and Maddie took forever whenever Maddie ate.

Keith yawned, rubbing his eyes as he slowly began to wake up. He glanced around, feeling immensely relieved as he felt no pain. He saw the TV on, and looked around, seeing Alayna watching TV, sitting in the large, comfortable chair.
"Hey" He said, yawning.

Kristen's eyes went wide at the sight of Demitri's bottle. She didn't even know he had brought it with them. She quickly swapped his water bottle for his, taking a quick, healthy swig. "Damn," she breathed afterwards, relieved. She capped the bottle before handing it back to him.
"Oh my gosh!" Maddie said, eyes wide as she looked at the rocking horse. Kristen shook her head.
"We really need to get you away from here..." Kristen murmured, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him back as much as she could. "You've got a bad addiction to these games." And it probably didn't help that the prizes could go to her or Maddie.


Alayna blinked, having nearly nodded off herself as she sat in the comfy chair, watching...well..she wasn't sure at this point. Looking over her shoulder to check on Keith, Alayna grinned, seeing that he was awake.
"Hiya." she murmured, standing up quickly and going over to the bed. She sat on her empty side of the bed, running her fingers through his hair gently. She smiled at him before concern came to her eyes.
"How you feeling?"

Demitri smirked. "Oh whatever, you like it" He said, shaking his head and letting her pull him back.
"Here, lets go to the lockers and check all this stuff in so we can keep playing" He said with a small grin. He picked up Maddie's new horse, and slipped took Maddie's hand.
"Did you have a good lunch?" He asked, Maddie would probably go into details about what she ate, she tended to get really excited about spending time with each of her parents. He shook his head, walking over to the lockers and paying for one. Carefully he began to stack the stuff they had gotten inside them, "Do you wanna keep your beads?" He asked Maddie, shoving the horse in on top of the bear, dog and tiger.

Keith sighed, "A lot better, it's a nice suprise to wake up and not be in intesne pain or sore" He said, stretching with relief.
"You're fussing" He teased as she ran her fingers through his hair. He knew Alayna would be ridiculous for a few days, or perhaps the rest of her life. Alayna always worried.

Kristen rolled her eyes. She wasn't going to answer that one. "Do they have lockers big enough?" Kristen muttered, looking down at the horse. That one was her main concern, all the other ones could be folded and squished to fit but the rocking horse...?
"Yea! I had a hot dog and me and Mommy shared french fries." Maddie explained, taking Demitri's hand and skipping along side of her. The beads around her neck clinked together and she swung her panda since she would holding it's hand like Demitri always did to her and Kristen.
"Yea." Maddie said, handing over her panda, watching with amazement as Demitri managed to stuff everything inside of the narrow locker space. "Wow."
Kristen blinked and nodded in agreement with Maddie. "I stand corrected.." Kristen murmured, drinking from her actual water bottle, not Demitri's.


Alayna grinned. "That's great." she murmured quietly. Her light brown eyes were a bit intense as they looked Keith over. Sighing, Alayna pulled her hand away.
"Forgive me for caring." Alayna said, not one bit sarcastic as Keith teased her since she was fussing again. She really couldn't help it at this point. She blamed the severity of his injury, though she would never actually tell him that bit.

Demitri smirked.
"Never underestimate the power of a tetris playing vampire" He teased, smirking as he managed to cram everything in and shutting the locker door.
"There" he said, brushing his hands off on his jeans and looking at Maddie.
"Ah, some french fries eh?" He had never in his life tasted a french fry, or a burger, or a sandwhich. He had grown up with salted meats, patatoes, fish, stuff like that. None of this modern day stuff. Maddie was forever trying to get him to eat, she didn't understand the whole vampire thing.

Keith laughed, "I forgive you" He teased, sitting up and stretching. He looked at her, smiling brightly.
"But I do feel a lot better" He murmured to Alayna, grinning and sighing.

Kristen shook her head with a small grimace. "I hate tetris.." she muttered, laughing to herself as Demitri finally closed the locker door. "Good. Where to now? I dunno bout you, but I want to ride some rides." Kristen said, bouncing a bit. This would happen on a few occasions where Kristen would go a while without drinking, and when she actually did, she came close to a sugar rush.
Maddie glanced at Kristen before looking at Demitri. "Yea. Mommy didn't each much though." she said, shrugging. "Are the rides gonna go high up?" Maddie asked as they walked away from the lockers.
"If they do, it's only for a little while." Kristen said, then frowned. Maddie probably wouldn't even be allowed on some of the rollercoasters, considering her height.


Alayna rolled her eyes. "Yea. You are." she said, slidding off the bed. "Sven and Nicko ran out. There's still some food left in the kicthen. Hungry for anything?" Alayna asked, walking over to the bedroom door. She glanced back at him as he smiled, and found herself grinning as well. It never failed; Keith's emotions were contagious to her. If he was happy, so was she. If he was in a world of hurt well..she was a worry wort, plain and simple. Alayna was glad he was back to being happy and healthy. Life ran smoother.

Demitri shrugged, "Rides it is" He glanced around, "Probably" he told Maddie, most rides were based on height.
"She won't be able to get on any of the coasters besides the kid one" He reminded Kristen, shaking his head and picking Maddie up and settling her on his shoulders. She probably wouldn't like the roaller coasters anyway. He looked at Kristen, shrugging.
"What do you wanna go on?" he asked both of them, wondering if mother and daughter would bicker. It had been happening more and more lately.

Keith sighed, standing for the first time in awhile.
"Hmm, food? I shall go look" He said, smirking at her. "Besides, you can't cook" He teased, alking over to the door and grabbing her hand.

"Can we go on the ship one again?" Maddie asked as Demitri picked her back up again. Not that she didn't mind riding on his shoulders, they were just hard as a rock after a while, and Maddie shifted a bit to get more comfortable.
"One our way out." Kristen said, grabbing the map and looking at the rides that Maddie could posisbly ride. One of these days, they'd have to bring someone else along to watch Maddie, that way Kristen and Demitri could ride the bigger coasters.
"Ok..." Maddie said, shrugging gently. "What else is there?" She asked, leaning forward to try and look at the map.


Alayna rolled her eyes. "At least I try.." she murmured, folding her arms across her chest and pouting in the infamously childish-Alayna way. As Keith took her hand, Alayna felt that calming warmth spread through their conjoined hand, putting her completely at ease with him again. Alayna smiled, squeezing his hand gently and walking with him down the hall to the kicthen.
She sat herself on one of the bar stools, resting her chin in her hands, just watching him really. She could see where his wings would start out from his back, and wondered if they would still be gray, since Keith was supposed an angelic solider again...
"Sven was telling me the healer was your older brother, but he never fell.." Alayna said quietly, obviously curious on the matter though she didn't want to ask him directly just yet.

Demitri smiled at Maddie, "We'll go on it again" He promised the little girl, looking at Kristen. She looked intent on the map, and he figured she was looking for something she would have fun on. He shrugged, "Let your mom look" He said, Kristen looked really intense, and he knew she'd be argumantetive if she didn't get her way.
"What do you wanna go on?" He asked Kristen, wondering if she was really in the mood to go on another ride, she seemed to be ready to argue with Maddie right now.

Keith smirked, looking over his shoulder at Alayna as he began to cook.
"What do you want eat?" He asked, before he was taken aback by her question.
"Adriel? He could commit murder in heaven and they'd never kick him out" He said, smirking.
"Adriel is one of the most advanced healers in the world, he also is my older brother. He chose to be stationed on earth years ago. Wanting to be away from heaven, so only the most serious injuries come to him" He explained.
"All angels are related, but you ahve some that are closer then others. Warriors and healers are more closely related then guardians and just general, 'religious' angels" He tried to explain.

"Ok.." Maddie mumbled, resting an elbow on Demitri's head and putting her chin in it. She looked over at Kristen as they walked. She was looking over the map intently and Maddie firgured she should be quiet right now.
Kristen sighed. "Half of these she won't be able to get on anyway." Kristen murmured, shrugging her shoulders gently. "They've got a kidish type one...it's up around the corner, though I don't know if she'll want to go on it or not." Kristen murmured the last half queitly to Demitri. "Worth a shot though right?" she asked, smirking lightly. She wanted to go on at least one roller coaster today.


Alayna shook her head. "I'm not hungry." she said quietly, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. She grinned, pulling her hair onto on shoulder and running her fingers through it gently. It was getting long, nearly at her mid back, almost halfway back to its orginal length. She brushed the knots out of her straight chocolate hair as she listened to Keith, nodding gently.
She tilted her head gently. "Isn't it bad for angels, like, full angels to be on Earth too long? Like there's too much bad or something?" Alayna murmured, frowning as her memory hiccuped on her again. "Or is that just some religious thing again?" There was a lot of that, things that Keith had told her were true that completely contridicted things she had learned about angels from Sunday school when she was younger.

Demitri smiled, "I guess we can try it" He said, shaking his head and smirking as Maddie rested against him. He looked at the ride on the map, "I'm sure she'll try it" He said, "If you wanna go on a seriuos coaster, I can watch her" He offered, seeing the gleam in Kristen's eyes, he knew what she wanted, what she was thinking. He shifted Maddie, setting her down and taking her hand. She looked almost afraid of her mother, not that she was, just Kristen could get intimidating occasionally.

Keith smirked, "Alright" He said, pulling a few things towards him, for him. He stretched out, looking at her and laughing.
"No, you wouldn't believe how many full angels are stationed on earth. They're here to monitor the demons who escape from hell. See, no one, not even demons want to be in hell" He chuckled.
"Being here isn't bad for angels" He explained, some churches taught that earth was bad for angels, but it really wasn't.

Kristen smirked hollowing. "What good is the ride if you're on your own?" she muttered, folding the map back up and stuffing it back into the bag over her shoulder.
Maddie sighed in small relief as Demitri pulled her down and she could walk around. She took his hand gently, looking around curiously again as they walked through the park. The amount of people they were passing was starting to lessen, though not considerably, Maddie just had a tendency to notice those kinds of things. She glanced up, hearing the screams and mechinal workings of the roller coaster just ahead of them.
She tilted her head gently in curiousity, tilting her head back a bit to taking in everything. "Wow..." Maddie murmured. It looked like a race car track, with two cars going at the same time, and even though they got closed to crashing, they never actually did. "Looks fast..." Maddie murmured, looking worriedly at Kristen's grin.
"It'll be fun. Wanna try?" Kristen asked. "It's not that high either." Well, to Maddie it may seem that way, but Kristen had seen roller coasters that went much much higher for the begining drop.


"Oh..." Alayna said, running her fingers once more through her hair before tossing it back over her shoulder. She rested her chin back in her hands, watching Keith gently. She smiled, sensing the familiarity of everything coming back to him. He hadn't been up and about in full condition for a while.
"Well that's good." Alayna said, grinning to herself. She knew Keith was stationed back on earth because of her. Not that she was complaining or anything. "Wouldn't want you being here with me end up getting you like sick or something." Alayna muttered, shaking her head and laughing quietly.

Demitri smiled.
"It'll be fun Maddie, besides, do you think I'd ever let anything happen to you?" He asked, squeezing her hand lightly.
"It''ll be okay" He reassured, walking over to the line, waiting for Kristen.
"What do you think? See, it's safe" He lifted her up, showing her the ride, before setting her back down and smiling.

Keith chuckled, "It would never hurt me to be on earth with you. Besides, having fallen, I'm more adapt to earth them some angels" He explained, pulling the sandwhich towards him and taking a bite. He sighed, smiling contently, having not had a lot to eat before now. He smiled at her, "Want a bite?" He asked, taking a sip of juice.
"Any more questions you want to ask?" He could see the curiousity in her eyes, and was mildy impressed she hadn't asked him about his angelic, or 'real' name.

Maddie smiled, a bit shy at Demitri's protectiveness. Kristen smirked, following next to Demitri as they walked towards the line of the ride. It wasn't that long, so Kristen wondered if they would use their black-passes or not. Then again, Demitri hated to wait for things.
Maddie frowned lightly, watching as the ride set off again with a new set of people. They all screamed and laughed, so Maddie firugred it wouldn't be that bad...a knot of fear still formed in her stomach though, and she rubbed her waist gently, taking Demitri's hand tightly.
"Yea.." Maddie murmured quietly.


Alayna nodded in understandment. That made sense. She looked at his sandwhich and shook her head. "No, but the juice looks good." she murmured, taking a small sip from his glass and smirking lightly.
"Thousands..." Alayna said, laughing quietly and shrugging. "Like how are you're wings still grayish if you're a full angel again?" That was one of the thousand she wanted to ask, and at the moment, it was the one she was most curious about. She was also hoping Keith would pull his wings out and let her fix them as she flexed her fingers gently.

Demitri sighed, seeing how apprehensive Maddie was. He bent down, kneeling in front of her, "It's up to you if we try the ride Maddie, no one's gonna make you" He said, rubbing her shoulders reassuringly.
"But I can tell you that it is lots of fun" He murmured, "I've been on it before, and so have Sven, Vlad and Alexi, and they all liked it" He murmured, glancing at Kristen, if they waited, they were next in line.
"So, do we wanna try?" He asked curiously.

Keith laughed, letting her hace some of his juice.
"My wings? They're still grey because I have fallen. They will never be white again, sort of a badge to other angels. They're not as grey as they were, more streaked with grey, it's just a heaven thing" He saw her eyes shining.
"Would you like to see them?" He asked, smiling lightly and letting his wings appear. They were rumpled beyond belief, and they hurt.
"Ow" He grumbled, taking another bite of his sandwhich.
