The black cat whipped around alarmed to be facing one of the caslte guards.

"You're the shapeshifter that the Crimson Maiden has, right?"

'I can shapeshift, but not the many forms that Voodoo take. If he knows I'm not him, we're all screwed here.' Almeria thought nervously to herself, before she spoke up, "Yes sir."

"You are free to roam, but be weary of the king. He's rather testy lately.", the guard said. "Wait... your voice sounds different. What was your name again?"

"Sir it's just a slight cold, my name's Voodoo." She coughed.

The guard knelt down and looked straight at Almeria suspiciously. "Okay... But remember, Saf's been rather testy lately, so tread lightly."

"Yes sir." She nodded her head.
