The Werebeasts

"Duck!" Keegan yelled at Roller. The boy followed the orders and ducked out of the line of the shot. He rolled over Into the river, and transformed, staying hidden under the water. Keegan and Raven changed forms, and stood Infront of the lake guarding their friend.

Ace cursed under his breath, then fired two shots, one each at Keegan and Raven.

Keegan pushed Raven out of the way, taking a blow to the shoulder. He fell onto his stomach onto the ground, wimpering softly. He then looked up at Raven. "Take Roller and go, I'll deal with him. I'll howl to you once I figure out what he's up to. Go!" He growled. Raven sighed and took off with Roller.

Sara flinched at the loudness of the gun shot. She still had no idea what was going on, having woken up only moments previous. She ducked low to the ground, trying to keep out of the way of who ever was firing the gun.

~Sure she can have a crush on him Elastic. ^^~

Ace smiled and fired 3 more shots at Keegan.

All the shots but one missed, the one that did hit, hit him barely In the tip of his tail. He stood silently and stared at the forest. "Enough. I am yours." Keegan snarled.

"Sara c'on!" Raven yelled over her shoulder at the tiger, a small frown on her face.

Terra was in her beast form, sniffing around the forest for any signs of danger. She had only recently entered the place, and she kept picking up a peculiar scent. It changed too much, not like a werebeast, that changed into beast and human, something more. Terra had given up the chase, deciding that whatever it was wasn't worth her time.

She was by a river, and taking a water break when the scent reached her again. This time it was accompanied by others, and it was close by. Terra sniffed the air once more to make sure, and ran off in the direction of the scent. A few of the bushes scratched her face on the way, but Terra finally made it to the spot where the scent was coming from. She thought she could hear voices near by, walking carefully forward, she spotted a silhouette.

Eyes widening at the sight of a gun being fired, Terra crouched low, changing into her human form and hid, cursing herself for following the odd scent. He was a hunter she was sure of it. The thought of attacking him came to her, but she disregarded it instantly, he was too strong.

Ace sniffed the air, and smelled another werebeast nearby. He turned around and saw TErra, and growled. He arppoached her silently and without being seen, grabbing her and putting the gun to her temple.

Sara nodded and slinked, low on the ground towards Raven. She glanced over her shoulder at Keegan, her heart pounding in her chest. She snarled automatically and began to move quicker, walking up to her friend.
"What's going on?" She snarled loudly

Terra snarled, she could get out of this, she knew it. She swung her head backwards, the rest of her body following until she was out of the best's grip. She crouched low to the ground, and transformed into her beast form, emitting a cross between a snarl and howl form her throat and lunging to the side, were a large tree covered most of her body. Terra snarled again lurching from behind the tree at the beast, and clawing at him, before jumping back out of his range.

"Honstely I don't know. Shots were fired from somewhere and Roller has a bad fever." Raven explianed.

Keegan watched the new werebest enter the secene, a small smirk on his face. "Need any help?"

Ace blocked all of Terra's attacks, and fired seven rounds at her.

Terra snarled changing back into a human, an using a tree as cover from the shots. She nodded to the boy "Normally I'd refuse assistance" She growled "But I can make an acceptation[sp?] now..." Heart pounded, Terra looked out from behind the tree. She barred her teeth, annoyed that she had walked in on this. She didn't even know what it was she was facing.

Keegan grinned, a very large grin. Ignoring the pain In his shoulder he lanuched himself at the hunter, digging his fangs Into his right shoulder. His claws digging Into his legs.

Ace smiled and changed into a strange creature that resembled a human, but covered in large spikes.

Reynard was in his beast form, and was searching for another way to relieve himself of his 'curse'. His ears perked when he heard a gunshot, then flattened when he heard several more. Then more. Then more. His head began to pound at the echoing sound of a gunshot rang in his ears. He put his paws to his aching head, and swung it around as if that would bring relief. He howl/barked a sound that rang out into the night, then dropped to all fours and running to the source of his new pain.

He was nearly there. He could smell a fire. The werefox roared in pain, his headache starting to wail at his brain more than ever. More shots had been heard as he was dashing here, and the sound was starting to be too loud. He leaped out of the flora, fangs bared, claws outstretched, and head crying for relief.

Sara stood near Raven, still a bit confused and disoriented. She watched Keegan closely, worried about him. Although she'd never admit it, she had a major crush in her friend and was extremely anxious. She glanced nervously at Raven, trying to figure out what they should do.

Ace appeared to change back to his normal self, but then six extra arms burst from his back. ace laughed evilly as the arms morphed into a sword, an axe, a mace, a flail, a club, and a warhammer, respectively.

Reynard slashed out a taloned paw, straight at Ace's face. You are the unfortunate one with the gun. he thought. A gun has started a giant pain in my head. It hurts to think, so you, being the gun-wielder, must be destroyed with your wretched weapon!

Ace attacked Reynard relentless, and shot at him repeatedly.

Keegan jumped backwards, his shoulders burning and bleeding from the bullet that was In his shoulder. He snarled and pain and stepped back.

Sara growled softly, stepping back further as she watched Keegan howl in pain. Her ears pinned back against her head as her tail twitched, warning of her mood. She was already confused, and it didn't help that Keegan was injured which was making her angry.
