Blood Lust

Selena's rest wasn't peaceful. It was filled with horrible nightmares and images. There was pain and sorrow. Heartbreak and fear.

Sire sensed that Selena's sleep was uneasy. He felt sorry for hewr.

Selena shifted positions a little in her sleep. "Come back..." She whispered while she was sleeping.

Sire heard Selena talk in her sleep. He dismissed it.

Selena bit her lip while sleeping before saying a bit louder. "Don't leave..."

Sire scurried over to Selena and perched himself on her shoulder.

Selena could feel something on her shoulder. "Yes..?" She said in her sleep.

"Just keeping an eye on you.", Sire said quietly.

Selena sighed a little in her sleep.

Sire reeamined perched on Selena's shoulder

Selena was having some restless sleep so she opened her eyes a little and just stared, not comprehending anything she saw, just seeing and nothing more.

Sire stayed in his spot, keeping watch over Selena.

Selena sighed sadly. Ugh.. I've got a headache.. She thought.

"Are you awake?", Sire asked.

"Yes..." Selena said quietly.

"I heard you talking in your sleep.", Sire said, jumping from Selen's shoulder and landing in front of her. "were you having a nightmare?"

Selena sat up. "Yes.. I was..." She said, quiet again.

"Would you like to tell me about it?", Sire said.

Selena took a deep breath, she was going to say yes, she was going to tell Sire. "No." She said, not controling it. What's going on? "I'd rather not talk about it, thank you." She said. This is my body, why can't I control it!? The thought panicked her.

"Are you sure?", Sire asked. "When I have a bad nightmare, I usually tell Master, and it helps me get over it."

"..." Selena didn't say anything though she was trying to tell Sire about the nightmare she'd had. Why can't I control it? She thought.
I'm in control now. Another thought rang out in her head, it wasn't in her voice though, it was someone else's.

"are you ok?", Sire asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." It said.
No, I'm not! Selena thought.

"I don't think you are.... Your aura is completely off-colour.... It's like, you're a different person..."

"Hun, I don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you're growing weak, Sire? Are you tired?"
Get out of my head! Selena thought, trying to push it out.
I'm here because I want to be here. I'm not leaving. You leave! It responded to her echoing through their mind.
