Andy shook her head. "Probably temporarily. I'm not sure yet, but I'm sure they aren't permanent."

Keith sighed, "Well, I suppose we'll find out" He looked at Zero, "You okay?" He asked softly.

Andy nodded.

Zero snapped his glare to Keith. "Do I look okay to you?"

"No, but I figured you could try and look a little sane"

Zero licked the back of his canines in irritance. "Well, I can't."

Keith held up his hands, mock giving up. He knew Zero would be okay when Shaye was.
"How's she doing?" He asked Andy.

Shaye was twisting again, whimpering, her veins were on fire, she hurt so bad. Her eyes fluttered, silver flashing occasionally as she spasmed. She was awake, but one of the drugs was a halluciogen, so all she could see was more torture happening, and she was trying, desperately, to get away.

Andy shrugged. "Hallucinating."

"Is there anything you can do for that?" He asked, as Shaye opened her mouth in a silent scream, revealing her fangs for the first time. Obvious work had been done on them, which was awful for any vampire, considering that was how they lived.

Andy shrugged again. "No. Not really. It's a strong drug."

Keith shifted, "Whats wrong with her fangs?" He asked curiuosly, leaning over her for a moment. He glanced at Zero, before returning his attention to Shaye. He vaugly wondered what she was seeing, as she looked at him with absolute fear.

Andy swallowed. "Her venom has been drawn and she's deprived of blood." Andy shrugged. "That's what they look like. They may return to normal, depending upon several aspects."

Keith frowned, "Her venom has been drawn? What the hell does that mean?" He asked, still inspecting Shaye's 'new' fangs worridly.

Andy's eyebrows furrowed. "It means she has no more venom."

"So she can't change anyone? Or is there more complications involved with not having venom?" Keith asked, wincing as he saw the look on Zero's face.

Andy shrugged. "Yeah. Although, I doubt she would think of changing anyone. But, no other complications for her... Just for her victims. And eventually, her body will produce more venom. It might take a while."

Keith frowned, "Alright, well, as long as she's okay" He glanced at Zero again.
"Is she alright to go to her room? I mean" He glanced pointedly in Zero's direction. It was obvious that it was taking all Zero had not to grab Shaye. He could understand the feelings behing Zero's own emotions, when one's soulmate was in pain, in danger, anything, the instinct was to grab her, never let go, protect her.

Andy nodded. "Yeah." She looked reluctantly at Zero. "Call me if you need me."

Keith sighed, sliding away from Shaye, helping Andy up.
"Come on love" He said, kissing her cheek and letting her lead the way.

Shaye was slowly coming down from the halluciogen, which hurt way more then being completely zomed out. She gasped, wincing as harsh light flooded her eyes.
"Wassgoingon?" She mumbled in a hoarse voice.

Andy looked away from Zero. "I didn't do anything wrong. Why's he mad at me?" she mumbled, mostly to herself as they climbed the stairs.

Zero came around the side of the couch. "Hey Shaye."

"He's not mad at us Andy, he's mad at the situation, his soulmate's almost dead, it's hard" He said, kissing her cheek.

Shaye winced, looking at Zero, confused.
"Zero? Damn it all" She sighed, figuring she was still hallucinating.

Andy rolled her eyes. "Then why he didn't he get in your face?" Andy asked, looking up at him.

Zero sat down beside the couch and looked at Shaye. She was already healing. "Andy said when the drugs get out of your system you'll be good as new."

Keith sighed, "He was, the whole way there" He shrugged, "Also, I'm useless at healing" He said, kissing her cheek again.

Shaye sighed,
"No, cause this isn't real" Shaye mumbled again, wincing.
"I'm dreaming, this is a dream" She smiled lightly at Zero, "But, since it's a dream, I'll take it"

Andy sighed heavily, blowing her choppy bangs from her face. "I really, need to get this fixed." She groaned, running her hands through her chopped hair.

Zero narrowed his eyes. "Do I look fake to you?" he asked.

"That's your own fault, you chopped your hair off" He teased, sitting with her on the bed in their new room.
"Hmm, nice" He said, shaking his head.

Shaye shrugged, "Who knows, everything else has been so vivid" She shifted, wincing, rubbing a hand over a still bleeding arm.
"Maybe it is, and maybe it's not, either way, I still hurt"

Andy sighed, crossing her legs at the end of the bed. "I know it my fault, that's why I said I need to get it fixed." She swallowed and looked around. "Yeah. Why do we have to be the sterotypical vampires? We either get the dark dungeon of a basement or the attic where bats hang out."

Zero raised an eyebrow. "Well, suit yourself. You don't have to believe me."
