Alayna blushed, looking down at the ground for a moment. "Um yea...the day after I got here." she said, smiling. "I put things down in a book, it's kinda like my journal, and it was the morning after we got together so..." she let the sentence trail off shrugging slightly. "I'd love to at least draw you. Doubt there's any actual portiats of angels out there." Alayna smiled.


"Like what?" Kristen asked, generally curious. She could tell he was kinda into the movie, but she hadn't exactly been paying attention. Her mind was thinking too much for her to add anything else to the mix. She sighed contently, closing her eyes as Demitri rubbed her back gently.

Keith smiled.
"Not that I know of" He said, shrugging.
"You can draw me whenever you want, just ask. I don't mind at all, you can do whatever, provided I don't end up covered in pain" He said, grinning at her and pausing underneath his favorite tree. He stretched out, leaning against the tree and grinning as he felt the wam glow of the sun on his face.

Demitri sighed, "Lots" He mumbled. "Like living forever, you lose everyone you care about, your friends, your family, everyone" He said, it had been hard, watching his parents, siblings, grow old and die while he stayed young.

Alayna smiled. "Well, if we keep Demitri out of the room while I'm painting, I think we can narrow down that possibility." she joked, laughing quietly and looking around as Keith stopped. Alayna smiled and sat down next to him, looking up at the tree.


Kristen dismissed that idea. "Alright," she said, nodding; that might have been hard for him. Kristen could care less about her actual family, and she wasn't exactly one for friends. "What else?" she asked quietly, looking back at the movie screen.

Keith rolled his eyes.
"How about we stay outside and as far away from Demitri as possible?" He asked, shaking his head and sliding down the tree trunk so that he was now seated in the thick, soft grass.
"It should be interesting" He commented softly.

"The thirst, it's not particularly pleasent. To be contorlled by a hunger that you can't control" He said, wincing as he remembered his new born years. He had been completely controlled by the burning in the back of his throat, the intensity of it driving him continually, searching for more and more blood.

Alayna nodded in agreement, pulling her skirt beneath her legs as she sat gingerly. "We can do it tomorrow, right here." she added, a light bulb going off in her head. She stood up suddenly, taking a few steps back. Alayna held her hands out, asking Keith not to move. She grinned and nodded. "This would be awesome!" Alayna breathed.


Kristen rolled her eyes. "Yea, but that's only for a few years." she said quietly. "You're pretty good at controling it. It's only when you haven't fed for days that you get a little crazy." Kristen teased, looking up at him for a moment. "But that's kind of a given, the thrist..." she murmured, resting her head back on his chest. "Almost comes with the name..." it wasn't the prime reason for her curiousty, but he was right.

Keith watched her curiously. Perhaps 'tomorrow' was becoming 'right now' in her mind. He froze his body, his back against the tree, wings flared out beside him, but relaxed to the point where they were curving around him slightly. His light hair was falling into his crystal blue eyes, and the tree was casting a speckled shadow over him, it was almost like a scene from a painting already.
"What?" He hazzared to ask, wondering what she was thinking.

Demitri shrugged. "You get better at controlling it, but it never goes away" He said softly.
"Why are you asking me all this?" He asked her curiously. She didn't want to be a vampire, did she? He shrugged that off, nah, Kristen loved being a shifter.

Alayna looked up at the sky, noting the time mentally and nodded to Keith, dropping her hands. "You look absouletly amazing, just sitting there with the tree and your wings out...." Alayna said, folding her arms over her waist and leaning back at bit as she looked at him. There was a light smile on her face and she nodded slowly. "You can move now." she said, tapping her temple. "It's up here. I start it tomorrow..."


"This much I know..." Kristen muttered, looking down at her casted arm. She found it slightly ironic that the arm she had cut was the arm she broke. How would it be to not be able to break a bone? Kristen wonderd. Demitri's voice brought her back from her thoughts, and she blinked. "Oh, just wodnering..." she mumbled, looking back at the movie.

Keith nodded but really didn't move all that much, he was fairly comfortable.
"Sounds good to me" He said, stretching his arms out in front of him, before letting them flop back to his sides. He leaned back, shifting a bit, mainly just because she had given him permission to move now.
"You look happy" He murmured, grinning at her. She did look rather overjoyed, and he was wondering if it was just that he had agreed to actually sit and let her draw him. The art class would be irritated, the teacher had been after him to pose for that class all the time.

Demitri nodded absentmindedly, the bright colours of the television drawing him back in. He shifted a bit, making sure he didn't move Kristen at all, not wanting to aggrivate her injury at all.
"Well at least it's nicely decorated" He said, nodding at her cast.

Alayna laughed quielty. "Do I really?" she asked, twirling as if a model for him slowly. "Gee...I wonder why." She teased, a wide grin on her face as she walked back over to the tree and sitting down across from him. She crossed her legs and rested her head on her fist, waiting for Keith to answer with that same sly look in her eyes.


"The cast?" Kristen asked, looking down at the signatures. She smiled, lightly running her fingers over Demitri's. It had smuged a bit, and Kristen frowned. "I think you need to re-do yours..." she murmured, pulling her hands away.

Keith watched Alayna, a grin on his face.
"Should I even ask?" He asked her softly, watching her with interested eyes. He found Alayna to be facinating, particularly when she was in a good mood, like right now. He smiled, running his hands through his hair, absentminded.

Demitri smiled at her.
"Do you want me to?" He asked, he rather enjoyed doodling on her cast and would probably draw all over the cast, given the oppertunity.

Alayna tried not to smie. "Well, think of it this way..." she said quietly. "Aside from all the life-threathening drama...I've been here for a grade total of five days. In that time, I've been accepted by a great group of friends." Alayna ticked off each detail on her fingers. "I've decovered that I have this really cool, though sometimes annoying power, my brother was brought back from the dead..." Alayna took a deep breath to prevent her voice from cracking and she looked up at Keith. "And in a matter of three days, I fell in love with the most amazing boy I have ever met. Did I leave anything out?" She asked him quietly.


"Sure..." Kristen muttered, holding her cast up. "Have at it.." she said. Sitting up straight, Kristen moved so that she was facing Demitri with her cast against her stomach gently. Her arm was getting sore again, but she was doing her best to ignore it.

Keith smiled at Alayna.
"No, no I don't think you did" He murmured, grinning at her shyly. He reached over and pulled her too him, kissing her lightly. His heart was thumping softly in his chest, it was a new sensation, that was for sure. Love, it was incredible, the most amazing sensation he had ever felt, nothing could compare to this. He smiled against her, leaning back against the tree, letting her settle wherever she chose.

Demitri smiled gleefully and hopped up, grabbing a bunch of different coloured sharpies. He noticed that she was resting the arm against her, odviously it was sore. He sighed, "Do you want me too? I can wait" He said, settling himself on the bed again, this time facing her so that he could take her arm.

Alayna inhaled deeply as Keith kissed her. She hadn't exactly been expecting that, although she completely enjoyed it. Alayna grinned, crawling into his lap like an eager child, and giggling at the thought. She rested her back against his chest, her head under his chin as a soft wind blew past them. Alayna smiled, closing her eyes for a moment. Her heart hadn't stopped racing, and Alayna could still feel his lips lightly against hers.


"Nah. Go for it." Kristen said, holding her cast arm up with her other hand, smiling gently. She nodded to her cast for Demitri to basically go crazy. She didn't care what happened to the cast really, she'd be getting it off soon anyway.

Keith sighed, closing his eyes and letting her rest against him. He circled his arms around her waist in a relaxed, manner.
"What's so funny?" He asked her, popping a lazy eye open. He was really enjoying the noonday, late fall sun. It was something he would never forget.

Demitri smiled and very carefully took her arm into his lap.
"Sorry, I can't draw like Keith or Alayna, but I'll try" He said, re-tracing his name before begining to draw all over the cast. He was basically doodling absentmindedly, drawing a heart but making little fangs where the 'mouth' would be.

"You don't mind me being childish at times?" Alayna asked, titling her head up to look at Keith. She smiled lightly with a small shrugg, winding her arms with Keith's that were now wrapped around her waist. She smiled at the warmth it sent through her, and sighed with content.


Kristen watched Demitri with her bottom lip caught between her teeth. "You don't have to be an artist to sign a cast..." she teased, watching him doodle. She laughed out right at the heart. "That's cute." Kristen laughed, leaning back against the wall slightly, still holding her arm up.

"No of course not, I find it adorable. I'm not really used to childish behaviour, so I can honestly say I like it" He said, leaning forward to kiss her head. He returned her smile, before leaning back and relaxing against the tree again.
"If I minded, do you honestly think I'd put up with Demitri?" He said, mocking the vampire teasingly.

Demitri grinned.
"Cute? I think it's scary" He teased continuing to doodle.
"You know, the whole fang thing makes it scary" He teased, grinning at her.

Alayna smiled and pushed herself closer to Keith. "Yay." she said happily. She laughed as he joked about Demitri and nodded. "Alright, alright." she giggled. "You have a good point there..."


Kristen shook her head. "Your fangs are scary." She teased. Looking back at the heart, Kristen smirked. "Those fangs are cute." She said quietly, tilting her head to look at it from Demitri's view. She shrugged after a moment and straightened herself.

Keith laughed. "He makes the most childish of us look extremely mature" He said, grinning at her and shaking his head.
"Plus, he's not nearly as adorable as you" The tall angel said, smiling again and kissing the top of her head lightly.

"So my fangs are scary huh?" Demitri said, letting the long, dagger like instruments appear and griined dangerously at her.
"Scary?" He grolwed, altough it was all for show, he'd never hurt her. He glanced down at the heart and sighed, it did look rather cute.

Alayna chuckled ligthly. "Yea, he doesn't exactly act his age..." she muttered. Although she had no idea how old the vampire actually was, he acted just as childish as she did. Turning to look up at Keith, Alayna caught the kiss before it reached her head. Wrapping an arm around his neck, Alayna smiled at the angel. Warmth spread through her and she sighed. "Never get tired of that.." she said happily, looking back up at Keith.


Kristen kept herself from shuddering. That had been the same look he'd given her the day she cut herself, even if it was for show, he pulled it off pretty well. Pushing herself back agaisnt the wall in mock shock at Demitri's act, Kristen bit her lip. After a moment of surprise though, Kristen grinned, letting her own pointed fangs appear. "Not that scary.." she whispered, her smile lessing and her fangs retreating.

Keith smiled and nodded.
"His age? What age, he's nearly seven hundred. If he acted his age he'd be in the ground, or lying on hospital bed somewhere yelling about young people at their long hair and music" He said, grinning.
"Never, it's the most incredible thing ever" He said, smiling lazily.

Demitri let his own fangs retreat.
"Mine our scarier" He teased, leaning forward to kiss her lighly. He didn't want to scare her or anything. He shifted again, turning his attention back to the cast, continuing to draw. Now he was drawing another heart, but this one had tiger stripes.

Alayna laughed outright, and had to hold her side after a moment. "Well, I didn't know how old he was!" she exclaimed, shaking her head and laughing. "That's insane. Seven hundred years!?" Alayna's eyes went wide and she shook her head. "Too long, much too long..." she mummbled with a deep sigh.
Alayna smiled, turning to look back up at Keith. "Really? You feel it too?" she asked, laughing quietly and resting her head under his chin.


"Yea, they are." Kristen mumbled before Demitri kissed her. She smiled at him, setting herself so that she was leaning against the wall once more. Titling her head slightly, Kristen watched the vampire draw again, a laid-back smile on her face. Kristen chuckled at his doodling before looking back up at the tv screen. The credits were rolling now. Kristen rolled her eyes before turning her gaze back to Demitri. "Nice.."

"Much to old? I'm older" Keith reminded her, shaking his head and laughing softly.
"Of course I feel it" He murmured, smiling at her and kissing her head lightly. He wrapped his arms around her, his chin resting casually on her head.

Demitri laughed a bit, "I know, I am an awesome artist" He said, drawing a stick figure angel just for the sheer amusment of it. He glanced up, "Darn, I was actually rather enjoying that movie" He said, grinning at her and laughing a bit.

"Yea, but you haven't been on Earth that long.." Alayna protested. "There's a difference," she murmured, pressing herself against Keith gently as he wrapped his arms around her. She smiled as he kissed her head, and she chuckled closing her eyes as a small wind blew.


Kristen laughed. "Wow." She said, looking at the stick-firgure of an angel. "Really nice love." she chuckled, shaking her head at Demitri. Her eyes darted to the t.v. and she shrugged. Krsiten hadn't exactly been paying attention anyway.

"Well I haven't been permanently on Earth that long. When I was a full angel, I came to Earth every so often mainly for battles and what not. But I suppose that's fair" He said, smiling as she pressed against him. He felt the breeze ruffle his feathers and sighed, content. It was a rather lovely day, and he was quiet enjoying it.

Demitri grinned at her.
"Told you, I'm an awesome artist" He teased, before glancing back at the screen.
"Do you mind if I re-start it?" He asked her, he had gotten into it for awhile, and wanted to see what happened.

"Ever so often being the key phrase there..." Alayna murmured, smiling. She let out a small breath in content, closing her eyes and listening to the wind blow through the leaves. "This is really nice..." she said quietly, opening her eyes to look around.


Kristen chuckled and shook her head. Looking over at the screen, Kristen shrugged. "Sure. I wasn't exactly paying attention anyway..." she said, smirking and turning her head to look at Demitri's doodingly better. Her smirked turned into a soft smile before she picked her head back up.
