Okay so I've been pondering this idea for a long while now... someone tell me if it sucks case I really don't know... XD

Introduction

There was a town of the edge of a coastline. It wasn't a large town, in fact, it was fairly small compared to most. The new moon hung like a white star over the brick, aged buildings, shadowing them perfectly and giving them an old look that the average person would see to in a respectful way. The town was populated, with just as many people as buildings, if not a little more, and to the side of the town, among the forest, lived a small coven of vampires. The were lean, beautiful as they all are, and were admired as all were by mankind. However, there was one man, who's father had been killed by such creatures in front of his own eyes, and he knew. The man was tall, slender himself, though in no way reflected the beauty of the vampires, his name was Lucious and he was a man in his mid twenties. He was a popular member of the town, looked upon and respected despite his young age, and for the longest time he did not act upon the arrival of the vampires, just waited for the opportune moment. He did however, alert the town of the vampire's being, and in their respect, they believed him. No one went out at night, and being as how the vampires could not set foot in daylight, they slowly began to weaken out of hunger and lack of ready food. There was a cross around every neck, a stake beside every bed, and for their lives they dared not to attempt to drain one during their sleep. This carried on to a point where one of them gave out, and attacked despite this, and Lucious was far more than ready. For the town was isolated away from larger ones, and in the state of hunger the vampires were in, to leave would have been a death sentence in itself. the vampire that came was the youngest in the group, skinnier than them, faster than them, but not stronger. And he came to Lucious' house, up the stairs and to his bedside.
Lucious awoke almost as soon as the vampire touched him and in a fury of knife and fang they fought, to the point where the starved vampire gave out and lay in waiting for his death.
"Kill me," he hissed to Lucious. "You've won."
Lucious did not kill the vampire, instead however he called upon the villagers to take him away and imprison him in a holly tomb. And thus he was, unable to die to to his forced immortality, despite how hungry he became. The holly cross placed upon the stone blocked him from escaping, and the others from saving him....

Plot

Many years have passed since this incident, and the companions of the younger vampire have tried many times to save his life, all have failed. But they dare not to give up, Lucious being long dead, and his son's son to take his place and so on. Can they ever save the imprisoned vampire? Truth is, due to failed attempts, the coven has lowered in size, other captured too, and the tomb, due to technology, has changed into a lab. The existence of vampires is known world wide by humans, and slowly, they are all starving. So is there hope? There is however, one thing the vampires haven't tried. Werewolves have lived in secrecy though all this time, and know, the coven has decided it is their last hope to ask help from their ancient enemies. But would they ever agree?

@elastic: uh, like research lab sort of idea. He's being studied and all that. Btw you might want another character besides just that one, otherwise you may become bored, I can't imagen himto have a very active role in the beginning. ^_^

Special Others: Eyes are usually red due to starvation. Has the ability to sense future misfortune in both his own future, and others.

Personality: He is quite strong-headed and outgoing, but can be brash at times. He observes others, decides what to do, and does it. Pleasing others and having a good time is not his goal; he wants things to be done. Depending on circumstances, he could be very talkative, even argumentative, but could simply fall silent if he chooses to do so. It's not going to be very productive to be fanciful so as to trick him; better be logical and reason with him otherwise things might not turn up well for anyone.
Special Others: Has the ability to figure out someone's faults almost instantly, and uses it against them usually.
Other: Is very young for a vampire, and still hasn't figured out who changed him into one and why they did it.
