Drake was a looming character, gloomy, dangerous, and hideous to the eye. He was a demon in his physical nature, though mentally he was a freak to his own kind. He was well muscled, yet had the body structure of one built for speed, his skin was pale, the skin of one without a soul. His fingernails were shaved to a sharp point, large webbed wings had sprouted upon his back, fleshy in colour to match his skin, the webbing ended at the end of his long, almost rat-like tail. He was tall, and stood with a slight hunch, he was a demon of a bat origin, meaning his characteristics resembled that of one of the earth's only mammals to fly. From his head were to large bat ears, in his mouth were rows of dagger-like teeth, though the mouth had been displaced to his neck instead of his head. Drake was blind, born without eyes, and maybe a nose as well, though his did have two holes placed in the center of his face to smell. the senses his did have where ten times more powerful than any vampires, so that his being blind left him at no disadvantage in combat. He preferred to not wear shoes, as they clouded his sense of touch, and feelings of vibration in the earth. His head pitch black human-like hair, hanging over where his eyes normally would be, and following down his spine to end at the base of his tail, his hair was not long, but merely grew along his back as well at the top of his head. His clothes mere mostly torn to allow his wings and tail their freedom, he preferred a soft textured fabric, though in being blind colours had no meaning to him. He had a gentle personality, despite his being, calm, collected, and caring. Though many demons would look down upon these traits, he, himself, embraced them.
Drake wandered along the rooftops of the many buildings around him, scenting the air, and using his echo location so that he did not fall, or run into things, he preferred to stay out of human eyes, because he preferred not to kill. He was not alone however, about as high as his shoulders, there was another demon accompanying him, this one was in fact cruel to the mortal world, vicious, hard and cold. The demon had currently taken the form of a cat, something Drake could never do due to his lack of sight. The demon's name was Raven, though she had no relation to a raven whatsoever, and instead, was a cat-based demon. The two roamed around calmly through town.
