Super...strange [Superhero Mix]

"Alright, so you both time-traveled too then? Not really that far, but that's still strange." Dan said slightly confused by all of this. He then asked, "So where should I start?" He wasn't exactly sure how much background information the two would want, and he didn't want to bore them too much.

Kara shrugged looking over at Clark, she figured she could listen to anything he'd wanna say.

"Where ever you want" Clark said, smiling and shrugging.
"Any information would be appreciated" He glanced at Kara, not really sure what else to ask. He didn't want to pry into the elderly man's life or anything.
"Feel free to ask anything about us also. We're not exactly normal humans" He said, smiling at Kara and winking teasingly.

"Well alright," Dan started off, "Like I said, him and I have been partners for a really long time. After the Keene Act was passed I retired, and pretty much everone else masked except for Rorschach. I'm not really sure how still, but he was then arrested, I broke him out, and just before we caught onto a lead he vanished. Now I assumed that he had been killed like many others lately, but after finding out Adrian had told me that he had done nothing. By then New York City had been exploded by Adrian, and was later rebuilt by his company. He thought it was the only way to stop the Cold War...it did end, but not the way I thought it should have. The problem is Rorschach doesn't know half of what's happened if he just jumped time like you guys." He paused for a moment before saying, "I know what I said probably doesn't make much sense, but hopefully it'll help out if the time comes."

Kara listened only catching half of things. She had caught Rorschach in jail, getting broken out by Dan, New York City blowing up and being rebuilt, and some guy named Adrian with a large company was to blame. She had no idea what to make of it, but she decided that she had gotten the general story.

Rorschach walked down the tunnel until he reached the main area. He turned on a light seeing Archie in the center of the place, and many gadgets everywhere else. That was what he was interested in. As soon as he finished the energy bar he quickly shoved his mask back on over his face, or he considered it the other way around, and began looking at a few of the things on Dan's desk.

"Everyone keeps talking about this Keene act, the America we're from doesn't have that" Clark stated. Convinced now that they were from alternate realities. The Cold War had been defused by President Kennedy in 1963 during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
"The Cold War we know was defused by JFK during the Cuban Missile Crisis" He said, trying to ignore the fact that Rorschach had been in jail. He had helped and put more people into Belle Reeve mental institute then he cared to remembere, and he didn't really like to think about Jail, seeing as he had spent enough time in the Smallville cells. He glanced at Dan. "Also, the New York we know was never blown up" He said, confused. "Alternate realities maybe?" He asked, looking at Kara before turning his attention back to Dan. They we're both from a different world, so the idea of alternate realities didn't really shock him.

"The Keene Act was passed in '77 to ban all masked heroes," Dan said trying to sum it up really quickly. He then added, "That would've been nice if the war had ended that quickly, but the Comidian killed JFK before he could even do anything really." He then thought for a moment before saying, "I guess it could be alternate universes. I could do some research on Archie if that might help, but we probably won't find anything." He stood up from the chair and looked over at the door Rorschach had just left in.

Kara listened quietly. Most of these things confused her, she wasn't that great with human history to start with, and when two people's ideas were colliding...well it just made no sense to her. She stood up before saying, "Archie?" She wasn't sure if it was a person or not, but she thought she'd just play along with it.

Rorschach didn't find anything of use. He grumbled something to himself angrily before walking over to the steps that led up to Archie. He sat down and leaned back in deep thought.

"Well JFK was assisnated in our reality too, but it wasn't by someone named the comedian. So we never had a Keene Act" He said, also curious about who Archie was.
"Archie? Like the comic book?" He asked, confused. He wasn't a huge history buff, but his time when he was friend's with Lex Luthor had paid off, and Lex had always been sprouting off random history events. But that was before, now the mere memory of Lex was enough to disgust Clark. He sighed shaking hsi head trying to banish the memories.
"It just seems like alternate realities to me, because we have the same people, and places, but at the same time, we have so many different events and laws"

"No, Archie's my machine. He takes me places, but I've put so much effort into making him," Dan said opening the door to the tunnel. He pulled a switch and lights came on one by one as the tunnel went on. He then said, "Alternate realities probably make the most sense right now to me too."

Kara followed Dan into the tunnel and glanced back at Clark to see if he was coming.

Rorschach stood up quickly with his fists up when he saw the lights come on. When he heard Dan's voice he quickly relaxed again and sat down. He had no idea why he was so tense right now.

Clark nodded, understand what Archie was.
"Your machine is named Archie?" He asked confused, shaking his head. He smiled a bit at Kara, but turned away, frowning instantly. He had seen Rorschach tense, and he in turn had almost reacted. He could feel a familiar heat burning behind his eyes and quickly glanced away, red laser shooting instead down the tunnel, and not at his friends.
"Sorry" He muttered, smiling apologetically.

OOC: XD have to make sure not to develop Clark's powers to much.

Dan looked at Clark concerned before saying, "I didn't know people could do that." All the people in their universe had no powers except for Dr. Manhatten, who evidently left the planet over 25 years ago.

Kara rolled her eyes slightly at Clark and said, "you really need to learn how to control your powers better."

Rorschach watched the red light coming from Clark down the hall. He wasn't feeling so good about them being around anymore. He knew the two were powerful, but he was usually a loner and so this was hard for him.

Clark laughed akwardly. "It's the same where we are, Kara and myself are Kryptonians, we're from another planet" He said, rubbing the back of his head and smiling.
"Yea, I know" He said to Kara, "It's hard though" And it was. He had a lot of trouble learning to use his powers and once in awhile he still lost control. He had gotten better at sensing his powers, and had been able to avoid hitting Rorschach and Archie.
"Sorry" He called to Rorschach, feeling bad. He wasn't good at this sort of thing.

Rorschach didn't say anything back, he just sort of made a grunting sound as he leaned back on Archie. He waited a few minutes until the three came up before saying, "What are you planning on doing Dan?"

Dan listened to the two much younger than him before they reached Archie and Rorschach. He then said, "Seeing if Archie here can help us out."

Kara stayed behind Dan. She felt a little safer being closer to Dan and Clark than Rorschach; the guy was psycho! Although she knew that Rorschach could probably take Dan out in a heartbeat now that the two had signifigant age difference, but they wouldn't.

Clark sighed and shoved his hands in his jean pockets following behind Dan and Kara. He could tell she wasn't a big fan of Rorschach, but honestly neither was he. He was a bit nervous about being around the guy, he had spent most of his life trying to fit in, and this guy seemed to have no issues with standing out. But he was just a human, while he was an alien, so Rorschach didn't have to worry about being throw in a government facility being tested and probbed by people. He odviously had been to jail, but someone with Rorschach's ability would have had almost no problem breaking out.
"Sorry" He muttered once again.

Rorschach jumped down from where he was sitting knowing that the others would need to go through there to get into Archie. He glanced over at Clark curiously when he said sorry again. He then said over to him, "You have too large of a soft spot; it's not good to show weakness."

Dan glared at Rorschach and said, "Stop it Rorschach. Everyone doesn't have to be like you."
And even though Dan couldn't see it, Rorschach was obviously angry now at him.

Kara watched the conversation not saying a word. She was really hoping nothing bad would happen now.

Clark shrugged. "Whatever" He muttered, looking at the ground akwardly. His Dad had always told him that it wasn't wrong to show a weakness, and seeing as nothing short of Kryptonite could hurt him, he didn't see anything wrong with apologizing. He shrugged again, glancing from Rorschach to Dan. He was still a bit freaked about the time jump and alternate realities thing, so he was liable to use his powers without really thinking. He sighed, he didn't really like being talked down to by Rorschach, he could fry the man with a look, and yet he had managed to make him feel like he was in high school all over again.

Dan decided to ignore everything before opening up the door to Archie. He went over to where he usually sat and looked at the controls. "I haven't been in here in so long," he muttered to himself. Rorschach followed in quickly going to where he usually sat, and relaxed while looking at a few of the dusty buttons. He glanced over at Dan and said, "I was in it yesterday." He shrugged boredly wondering why Dan needed to do something with Archie. "That's why we're checking something; a time jump and alternate realities doesn't seem right to me, but you can never tell."

Kara walked inside after the other two looking around. The thing was pretty cool considering that humans didn't have the best technology. She looked at all of the dust and listened to the two's comments while glancing at a few buttons more closely.

Clark followed behind Kara, standing akwardly beside her. He like Kara hadn't see much of human technology as it compared to stuff on Krypton.
"Awesome" He said softly studying a few of the buttons closest to him. He was careful not to touch something, lest he broke it. He listened absentmindedly to Dan and Rorschach, not really sure if he should say anything.

ooc: umm I'm stuck lol, what should we have them find out??? I could keep BSing stuff if you want lol, but I never really decided on what was after them really XD any ideas?

OOC:: I'm still strongly advoacting alternate realities. But besides that I'm pretty stuck too, I think I'm gonna just randomly bring in like wonder woman or something, just for the pure drama that could create.

Ooc: yah I agreed with the alternate realities thing too, and adding wonder woman could be fun LOL! ^^ also we should decide who the evil dude is. We could have him not from either of their worlds.

OOC:: Kay, I'll bring wonder woman in, but just with an intro. Also, hmm, the bad guy could be like Megneto (x-man) trying to get certain attributes from each character.

Ooc: yah that could totally work! ^^ so I guess I can make a post then. I'm on the itouch so it might be short haha.

Dan hit a button and Archie turned on. It somewhat lurched when it first did because it hadn't been on it so long, but Dan had just ignored it. He began clicking some buttons and read a few things. "Well it looks like alternate realities are the only answer. I'm guessing the time jump just had something to do with the transfer, but I'm not quite sure."
"If it is then why did I jump?" Rorschach asked slightly confused. If he had only jumped time and not realities, well it made no sense to him.
"Well that's where it doesn't work for me either," Dan said shrugging his shoulders. He then watched as the screens flickered for a few moments before they shut off. "Well that's strange; Archie shouldn't be giving up like that so quickly."

Kara glanced around listening to what was going on; she just got a little suspicious when the lights shut off quickly.

Clark shrugged, glancing at Kara. He didn't know what was going on at all, so he didn't say anything. It seemed to him that Dan was quiet capable of thinking this problem out.

Meanwhile, (laughs)
Wonder Woman sighed, it had been two hours since she had been mysteriously jumped to New York City, and odviuosly not the New York city she knew. The last thing she remembered was that she and Superman had been discussing a plan to deal with the latest villan, and now she was here. She sighed again, pushing thick, black hair from her eyes. It had odviuosly be raining, but no longer was. Sheneeded to find help, and quickly.
